Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka hur sjuksköterskan kan använda empowerment i vård av unga. Det finns ett stöd i de vetenskapliga artiklar som granskats att använda sig utav empowerment i vård av ungdomar. Litteraturstudien visar att empowerment stärker ungdomar. Sjuksköterskan kan genom empowermentåtgärder understödja så att ungdomar får en bra start i livet. De empowermentåtgärder denna litteraturstudie resulterar i visar att sjuksköterskan genom undervisning direkt till ungdomar men också till vuxna i ungdomars omgivning, stödjer ungdomar i den förändring de går igenom, samt guidar dem till ett sunt hälsobeteende med hjälp av prevention.

The aim of this study was to examine differences in the experience of intrinsic work-motivation and to examine changes depending on profession, where the purchasers experienced a higher level of individual demands and control than the production leaders. Another purpose was to see how the intrinsic motivation needs predicted mental well-being in the professions. The study was carried out using an internet survey that was distributed by e-mail, there were 98 participants. Two questionnaires were used; Basic Need at Work scale (W-BNS) measured intrinsic motivation and GHQ12 measured mental well-being. The result showed that the staff overall had high intrinsic motivation with highest scores on relatedness followed by competence and lastly autonomy.

Vårat arbete visar hur man kan arbeta främjande och förebyggande bland ungdomar mot droger. Ämnet har aktualiserats eftersom att narkotika användningen bland ungdomar har ökat på senare år. Vikten i detta arbete har lagts på grundskoleelever eftersom vi anser att ungdomar i låg ålder är lättare att påverka. I och med detta har vi valt att studera VÅGA-programmet samt se hur det resulterat. VÅGA-programmet är ett utbildningspaket där ungdomar får lära sig om kamratskap, lag- och rätt samt information om alkohol, narkotika och tobak.

The main purpose of the study was to analyse the well being of children placed in foster care for at least two years, in one sample municipality. An assessment was made of how the social service admistrated and took responsibility for these children in terms of schooling, physical and mental health. To further understand the situation of the children three areas of investigation were added concerning; teenage pregnancy, the mental health and mortality of the biological parents. To receive answers to those questions a qualitative interview method was used, with structured questions to social workers working with foster care. The author also studied journal notes and child investigations to receive a more comprehensive picture.

Denna uppsats syfte har varit att behandla hur det solidariska skadeståndsansvaret berör ungdomar och vilka konsekvenser det kan ge. Det har även redogjorts för hur gällande rätt ser ut på detta område samt om reglerna kan ses som rättvisa eller orättvisa. Den metod som använts är den traditionella juridiska metoden där rättskälleläran har tillämpats. Skadeståndslagen har varit den främsta källan. Ett solidariskt skadeståndsansvar innebär att flera skadeståndsskyldiga svarar för samma skada.

The aim of this study was to describe the mental and social causes to obesity among children and adolescents, their consequences and what preventive interventions that are used. The method used by the authors was to search for scientific articles in the database Medline, using the keywords: obesity, overweight, child, body image, social, family, school, depression, nursing, quality of life, social support, prevention and support. The study was performed as a literature review, with a descriptive design, and the result contained 22 scientific articles. The main result of this study showed that obesity among children and adolescents is not only an individual problem, it affects the whole family. The main causes to obesity among children and adolescents are the socioeconomic status of the family, their lifestyle, and even gender to a certain degree.

Background: The relation between work motivation and well-being are relatively well theoretically entrenched, but few studies have been conducted on nurses within psychiatry. Objective: The aim of the present study was to examine the differences in intrinsic work motivation (autonomy, competence, relatedness), mental health and burnout between young (?40 years) and older (>40 years) nurses employed in psychiatry. Method: The study was an observational study with a cross-sectional design and group comparisons, conducted as a survey. The sample constituted of 60 employed nurses.

Our lives in urban areas are becoming more and more inactive with negative effects on our mental and physical health. Natural environments and physical activity have the power to both prevent and reduce mental fatigue. Meanwhile we engage ourselves with physical activity, the nature fascinates us with its complexity. In April 2006, some of the visitors to the recreational area of Skrylle were asked to fill in a questionnaire which included questions about their habits within physical activity and the experience of nature. The questionnaires were then divided into two groups: those filled out by persons who exercise on regular basis (i.e. three or several times/week) and those who rarely exercise.

Earlier psychological research on stress and its complex of problems has identified several factors which have shown a relation with the occurrence of a poorer mental ill-health. In this study some of these factors have been examined in 69 police officers from Stockholm, Lund and Helsingborg. In the study, police officers with high and low self reported ill-health were compared considering trait anxiety, alexithymia and posttraumatic stress symptoms.The results showed that police officers with poorer mental ill health had a significant higher degree of trait anxiety, the dimension of alexithymia difficulty identifying feelings and the PTSD-dimension avoidance and hyperarousal. The results also showed several positive relations among the variables that divided the groups. On account of the last-mentioned the results will above all be discussed in an integrating perspective..

Syftet med studien är att beskriva arbetslösa ungdomarnas upplevelser av vardagen ? deras subjektiva erfarande av det som är av central betydelse för dem ? för att fördjupa kunskapen och få ett bättre underlag för samhällets framtida kontakter med arbetslösa ungdomar. Det empiriska underlaget utgjordes av en intervjustudie som genomfördes bland sexton arbetslösa ungdomar i åldern 20-24 år, som varit arbetslösa mellan 3-18 månader. Resultaten visar att de flesta ungdomarna var missnöjda med sin livssituation som arbetslösa. Beskrivningar av vardagen som tråkig, ensam, meningslös, stressande och deprimerande var frekvent återkommande i intervjuerna.

The aim of this study was to illuminate how patients with mental illness experience encounters with the nurse in psychiatric care, in order to acquire increased understanding for the patients needs. A litterature study was used to analyse previously published scientific articles within psychiatric nursing care. Content analysis inspired by Graneheim and Lundman was used to perform the analysis. The result showed that the patients recovery depended on the relationship with the nurse. If the relationship was good, the patient was moore likely to regain his mental health, than if the relationship with the nurse was poor.

Att vara ute i naturen medför inte bara rekreation utan kan kanske även bidra till en ökad miljömedvetenhet. Dock visar forskning skilda resultat i frågan. En ökad miljömedvetenhet är är viktigt för att främja en hållbar utveckling, därför är det intressant att undersöka hur ungdomar ställer sig till miljöfrågor. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det finns ett samband mellan olika friluftsaktiviteter och miljömedvetenhet hos ungdomar. I studien inkluderades enkäter (n=433) från högstadie- och gymnasieungdomar i en medelstor kommun i södra Sverige.

Denna uppsats handlar om hur ungdomar med lågt deltagande på NUEVO upplever hinder och möjligheter i normaliseringsprocessen. NUEVO är en institution som hjälper arbetslösa ungdomar som länge har varit arbetslösa eller som har speciellt svårt att få eller lyckas behålla ett jobb. Min studie är inriktad på de ungdomar som inte deltar så aktivt på NUEVO och varför det är så. Varför normaliseringsprocessen och avstämplingen av dessa ungdomar hindras av en lång avvikarkarriär som dessa ungdomar har. Det jag fick fram är att stämplingen historia har en stor påverkan på ungdomarnas nuvarande situation.
