The purpose of this study is to explore specific pedagogical activities that benefit the student's verbal language development and to learn more about how our schools use teaching methods to achieve the ambitions in the governing documents in Sweden. The aim is finding the correlation between theory, research, governing documents and the educational work in our schools. This study contains an empirical survey in intention to see how teachers, pupils and school administrators experience school activities, to see if those activities are formed with the intention for pupils to reach the learning goals according to the governing documents.The aim of this study has been achieved by relating empirical data with theories and previous research on conversation analysis. Goffman's and Norrby's research on the importance of dialogue and previous research on dialogicity studied by Dysthe, Vygotsky and Bakhtin are presented. Those are related to empirical data and show that most teachers realize the importance of integrating dialogues in daily activities and in different learning contexts.

The value of a company's employees is considered to be higher and more important for a business success than ever. Losing employees is not only a loss of valuable knowledge, it also implies a significant cost related to the recruitment of new employees. To attract potential personnel, it is important for the companies to understand how to communicate with talents. Choosing a communication medium for a job advertisement is not easy when new options constantly arise. Despite the development of new communication mediums and channels, such as social mediums, the traditional communication medias still remain available.

För att få svar på vår frågeställning intervjuade vi tre förskolelärare och tre högstadielärare. I vår tolkning av resultatet har vi använt oss av den forskning som tidigare fanns inom vårt område..

The matter of CSR and sustainable products has gained an increased amount of interest in recent years as "green products" are becoming a trend with more "eco"-alternatives in the assortment of many retailers. However, among the increasing number of socially oriented customers, it seems that although they claim an increased demand for these kind of products, its easier to "talk the talk" that to actually "walk the walk". This is due to a discrepancy between attitude and behavior, called the attitude-behavior gap. The purpose of this paper is to examine how to overcome this gap by using three different studies to get a nuanced and reality-based view of the problem. The focus within these different studies is on the potential effects inside the store and how information provided has an effect on perceived credibility and purchase intention.

Lojalitet gentemot arbetsgivare har tidigare ansetts vara en merit för anställda, medan det i dagens arbetsliv kan upplevas vara mer av en belastning. Lojala medarbetare får ofta en sämre löneutveckling och blir mindre attraktiva på arbetsmarknaden än de som med jämna mellanrum byter arbetsplats, vilket kan vara en orsak till att organisationer idag har problem med personalomsättningar där individer lämnar sina anställningar i snabbare takt än vad som förväntas. Detta ställer höga krav på organisationer att arbeta strategiskt med sitt personalarbete för att rekrytera rätt personal samt behålla dem. Studiens syfte var att undersöka varför vissa individer är mer benägna till att lämna sina organisationer än andra. Detta genomfördes genom att kvantitativt studera variablerna organisationsidentifikation, upplevd yrkesstatus och dess korrelation med individens intention att lämna sin organisation.

The study is based on interviews with four teachers, all of them working in these grades. The interviews have been interpreted hermeneutically and the statements compiled in accordance with the aim and research questions. The results indicate that all the teachers are aware that reading aloud can be used as a resource to develop pupils? reading comprehension.

As a result of increased property prices on apartment buildings in Halmstad many local investors thinks that the market behaves illogical. This because these investors can?t find any profitability in many real estate transactions. The valuation between different investors on the same object therefore goes their separate ways. One example of this is a property in central Halmstad which starting price was about 23 million SEK.

Det övergripande syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka lärandet uttryckt i vardagliga samspelshandlingar mellan pedagog och barn i en förskola. Mer specifikt har vi intresserat oss för vilka förutsättningar pedagogerna skapar för barnens lärande och vilka mönster som framträder i dessa samspelshandlingar. De frågeställningar som ställs är: Vilka förutsättningar för lärandet skapas i samspel mellan pedagog och barn? Vilka samspelsmönster framkommer mellan pedagog och barn? Vilka intentioner synliggörs i pedagogers handlingar i samspel med barn? Studiens teoretiska referensram utgår från sociokulturell teori med särskild förankring kring barns lärande. Studien genomfördes på en förskola med barn i åldrarna 3-5 år samt med tre medverkande pedagoger.

The absence of female directors on Swedish corporate boards is currently a hot topic for both politicians and business leaders all over the world. This thesis aims to discuss reasons for the scarcity of women on boards in Swedish publicly listed companies as well as what actions are taken to alter the composition of these boards. A rigorous selection of gender theories have been used together with data collected from in-depth interviews with mainly board members and nomination committees. Extensive analysis has led to findings that historical perceptions of differences between men and women linger as of today, which prevents women to reach top executive levels as well as board positions. The increasing use of headhunters has encouraged companies to look beyond male-dominated networks in an attempt to widen the range of potential board nominees.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects on a simulated wastewater plant regarding GHG emissions and use of energy and resources when implementing source separated wastewater systems. The effects were studied for different restrictions of effluent quality and for different temperatures on the influent. The simulation model BSM2G calibrated for Käppala wastewater treatment plant was used. The task was executed by simulating nine different scenarios with an increase in influent load from new connections equivalent to 3, 10 and 30 % of the present connections. These new connections were served by conventional, urine separated or black water separated systems.

Vår studie har som syfte att belysa slöjdlärares arbete med elevreflektioner i textilslöjdsundervisning. Fyra lärare har intervjuats kring hur de definierar begreppet reflektion, vad de anser att reflektioner har för funktion, vad deras intention med reflektionsarbetet är, vilka arbetsredskap de använder samt hur de arbetar med återkoppling gentemot eleverna. Vidare har de reflektionsdokument de fyra lärarna använder i sin undervisning studerats. Lärarnas intentioner, deras formuleringar i dokumenten och de svar som eleverna givit har sedan jämförts i en trekomponentsanalys. Studien utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv på lärande där språkets betydelse för lärandet understryks.

It is widely recognized that the town of Södertälje, a small Swedish town of 85 000 inhabitants, has alone received more war refugees from Iraq than the US and Canada have put together. Whilst writing this thesis had nearly 6000 Iraqi refugees sought their way to Södertälje since the US invasion in Iraq 2003.Nevertheless, life is not what the media and the government retail. Six of these Iraqi refugees who resided in Södertälje share their life stories in the following thesis. They discuss their escape from Iraq and the difficulties of living in the segregated parts of Södertälje where they solely speak Arabic and Assyrian, whilst learning Swedish at sfi (Svenska för invandrare, Swedish for immigrants). Another distress is related to the unsecure future in Sweden waiting ahead.      The aim of this thesis is to engage in, and highlight the studies of six sfi-students in their endeavor to learn Swedish, whilst struggling through Swedish bureaucracy and experiencing despair due to their situation and uncertain future.       .
