The construction market has, as a result of the crisis in Europe been uncertain in recent years. During the year 2013, the construction will be stabilized, in particular Finland. The geographical proximity between Sweden and Finland and similarities in cultures and climates makes Finland a coveted market for many Swedish companies.Differences in national regulations and guidelines, which are produced by the authorities in different countries, are examples of barriers that may hamper the process, including for Swedish villa suppliers, to establish themselves on the Finnish market. It may be useful when facing a new export drive, to look up what similarities and differences there are between the countries building codes, to prevent mistakes and unnecessary costs to the project work..

Mycket av bakgrunden i mitt arbete består av teorier kring tjänstemarknadsföring då skolledares profilering av sin skola hamnar inom detta fält. En redogörelse över vad det var som hände när det blev fritt att välja vilken skola man ville 1994 finns med i bakgrunden för att ge en förståelse för varför skolor började marknadsföra sig. Undersökningen består av fyra intervjuer som jag har transkriberat och kategoriserat. Utifrån en hermeneutisk ansats utkristalliseras och diskuteras begreppen intention, orsaker och kvalitet.

The purpose of this report is to make an evaluation of the self-monitoring for scarification which Stora Enso is using and this study deals with the effects and importance of scarification. A comparison is made in this study with the purpose to highlight any differences between some of the leading forestry companies and significant forest organizations in Sweden. The companies represented in this report are Korsnäs, Mellanskog, SCA, Sveaskog and Södra. In the beginning of this study an interview form was set up together with Daniel Forsberg at Stora Enso. Stora Enso is the head object of this report and seven interviews were made within that company. At the other companies only three interviews were made within each one, with an exception to Mellanskog who wished four.

Väst möter Transsylvanien i svenska reseskildringar : Med fokus på befolkning och omgivning, 1930?2000-talet

I arbetet har jag utgått från mina erfarenheter av medieundervisning på min verksamhetsförlagda utbildning (VFU) där jag upptäckte ett ?glapp? mellan teori och praktik i elevernas arbeten. Utifrån detta upplevda ?glapp? formulerade jag följande frågeställningar: Finns det spår av läroplanens intention i elevers tal om undervisningen, särskilt medieundervisningen? Finns läroplanens intention i bilderna eleverna producerar? Bidrar medieämnets kultur, tradition och historia, till den starka uppdelningen mellan teori och praktik i undervisningen? Detta i syfte att undersöka om ?Läroplanen för de frivilliga skolformernas? (LPF94) intention om att eleven skall ha förmågan att förhålla sig kritiskt, granska fakta och bedöma det eleven ser, hör och läser, följer med när eleven talar om och framställer egna mediebilder i undervisningen. I denna studie har jag studerat läroplanens och dess intentioner, olika teoretikers syn på undervisning och kunskap samt intervjuat tre tjejer från medieprogrammet kring deras tankar om undervisningen.

The research done in the field of product completeness/incompleteness is limited. The lack of research causes a knowledge gap in the retailing industry, concerning the actual effects on consumer choice, as well as on the overall store evaluation. This report tests the current theories of the subject, and also further aim to explore the effects of completeness/incompleteness on consumer's product choice. The results display an inconsistent effect on consumer's product choice when the completeness/incompleteness in a grocery store is tested. Some products benefit by being incomplete, while others show no such effect.

Psykiatrireformen - från intention till verklighet? : En analys av psykiatrireformens måluppfyllelse

The purpose with this essay is to examine if the Swedish government?s intentions regarding to the mental health care reform, have been fulfilled. We have classified the intentions into three categories, regulation, financing and responsibility for organizing the policy. The intentions have then been compared with the results of the reform.Our theoretical framework starts with a model, developed by Evert Vedung (1998). We use this model as a tool to examine the fulfillment of the mental health care reform.

Today, we see tendencies of politicians being more active in social media using selfies. According to previous research using selfies is associated with being self-centered and narcissistic. It is not known though what implications the behavior will have for a selfie-using politician in terms of chances of being elected. This study aims to contribute to the research on political communication and social media behavior. More specifically the study intends to investigate whether there is a difference between voters' views if a politician uses selfies or not, and whether there is a difference by gender.

Vanebeteende - Det lojala beteendet?

The Swedish sports retail industry has experienced extensive growth during the last decade, and this has attracted new entrants to the market, both start-ups and international followers. This has inevitably put more pressure on incumbents, which are now confronted with major challenges as how to retain their customers and market shares. Customer loyalty has been proved to be an important factor for customer retention and proposed to constitute inertia of switching behavior. In light of this problematization, the purpose of this study is to describe the underlying factors of loyalty and whether purchase habits could further explain customer loyalty. The aim is also to understand the strategic implications of the factors involved.

Flytta eller stanna?: orsaker till Luleåungdomars intentioner

Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka orsaker till ungdomars framtidsplaner med avseende på att stanna i, eller flytta från, Luleå inom fem år efter avslutad gymnasieutbildning. De faktorer som undersöks är attityder, subjektiva normer och upplevd beteendekontroll, vilka ingår i Icek Ajzens (1991) teori om planerat beteende (TPB). Undersökningen genomfördes med en enkät utformad i enlighet med Icek Ajzens (2002) och besvarades av 85 elever vid Luleå Gymnasieby. Alla gick sitt avslutande år vid gymnasiet och var i åldern 17-19 år. Resultaten visade att upplevd beteendekontroll hade störst effekt på intentioner om att stanna kvar i Luleå.

The purpose of this essay is to propose alternative strategies of action by discussing the ecology, the history and the social function of the railway station. There is also an overview of projects already completed. In the analysis part of the thesis, the genius loci or the spirit of place is put forward as means of reaching a solution.

Varumärkesvänner och relationsreklam - En kvantitativ studie av medarbetarkommunikation på Facebook

Marketers of today are confronted by the fact that it is increasingly difficult to gain the customer's attention, as they first have to break through the ad clutter. In a landscape where the general attitude towards advertising is negative, one way to successfully deliver the message to the customer involves communicating through personal impact. By using stimuli containing identical information with different senders, this thesis seeks to quantitatively explore whether brands can make use of the personal networks of its employees, in their social media marketing strategy. The purpose of the study is to investigate if communication via the employees could enhance traditional communication effects, such as buying intention and electronic WOM intention. Furthermore, the study aims to examine which role the employee should hold when communicating on behalf of the brand, and if the communication effects vary with the degree of product involvement.

Vilka faktorer påverkar skolungdomarsintentioner till studier? : En applikation av Theory of planned behavior

Föreliggande undersökning är en kvantitativ attitydstudie vilken bygger på Izec Ajzens Theory of planned behavior. Teorins utgångspunkt är att individens beteende föregås av en intention att utföra beteendet. Intentionen grundar sig i tre faktorer: individens attityd gentemot beteendet, subjektiva normer och individens upplevda beteendekontroll. Studien syfte är att i första hand studera ungdomars attityder gentemot läxläsning och delaktighet på lektioner. Syftet är även att kartlägga vilka faktorer som i störst grad påverkar intentionen att studera och hur intentionen skiljer sig mellan könen.

Singel eller Tillsammans?: En kvantitativ studie om effekterna av att göra reklam för flera produkter inom en produktkategori tillsammans

This paper quantitatively examines the effects of marketing brands within the same product category and the same brand portfolio jointly. We have chosen to call this type of marketing category advertising. The results of the study show that category advertising leads to increased brand awareness within the category, which is particularly important for brands within less salient subcategories. For strong brands however, category advertising leads to lower purchase intentions, an effect which could potentially be moderated by focusing the advertisement on the complementary nature of the products combined with promotional elements. The study also shows that there is no difference between advertising products jointly and separately when it comes to brand attitude, category attitude, typicality, brand purchase intention for weak brands and category purchase intention.

Retail marketing is a field with many different enbranchements. Some of these can be considered relatively well explored, while the lack of knowledge concerning others is almost total. For example, the existing knowledge regardng the possible impact that non-musical sound can have on the customer can be considered non-existent. With this in mind, the intention with the thesis was to closer investigate how non-musical sound can influence the customer's decision process and attitude in and to a grocery store. The authors started out with theories on associative networks and automatic processing.
