Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur ungdomar (18-25-åringar) som är inskrivna på arbetsförmedlingen i en mindre ort upplever sin livssituation som arbetslös, vilka framtidsvisioner de har samt om det föreligger skillnader i dessa avseenden beroende på familjebakgrund. Studien baseras på sex kvalitativa intervjuer med ungdomar inskrivna på en arbetsförmedling i en mindre ort i Mellansverige som sedan transkriberats, meningskoncentrerats och slutligen analyserats främst med utgångspunkt i begreppen habitus, livsstil samt transaktionella behov. Resultaten i studien visar att respondenterna antingen vill flytta eller att förutsättningarna i orten gör att de känner sig tvingade till att göra det. Två olika mönster kan urskiljas i resultaten då respondenterna antingen tenderar att se flytten som ett medel för att få jobb eller tillgodogöra sig en utbildning, eller att de ser jobb eller utbildning som ett medel för att kunna flytta från orten. I analysen kopplar jag dessa två kategorier till begreppen habitus respektive livsstil och konstaterar att vissa ungdomar är mer habitusbetingade i sina handlingsmönster medan andra mer livsstilsbetingade.

Hotet mot Sveriges säkerhet ser idag annorlunda ut än för 20 år sedan. Därför har Försvarsmakten infört ett nytt personalförsörjningssystem av soldater byggt på frivillighet. De närmsta åren behöver organisationen rekrytera 3 250 kontinuerligt tjänstgörande och 4 650 tidvis tjänstgörande gruppbefäl, soldater och sjömän. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur gymnasieungdomar boende i en garnisonsort ställde sig till möjligheten att söka anställning som soldat i Försvarsmakten, både inom de lokala förbanden och inom övriga förband i Sverige. Studien skulle utvisa vilka gymnasieungdomar som kunde tänka sig en soldatanställning i hemorten vilket syftade till att ge en fingervisning för ungefär hur många man kunde tänkas rekrytera inom kommunen samt för att underlätta lokal rekrytering till soldatbefattningarna.

Background: The health of children and youth has decreased the last two decades. The Swedish government has decided to back a national plan for parenting support. The municipality of Tjörn is a part of national parental support project to identify the need and to improve the parental support in the municipality. Purpose: The purpose with this study was to identify experience and need of parental support among fathers with more than one child on Tjörn. Method: Five individual qualitative interviews were conducted with the fathers.

The purpose of this study was to examine how young men and women who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) who are exposed to honor related violence, intimidation or repression perceive their situation, what kind of help/support they have received and if they feel that the help and support offered by the society has been adequate. After the murder of Fadime Sahindal in 2002 attention was drawn to honor violence in Sweden. During the period 2003-2007 the government invested 200 million SEK for efforts to prevent honor related violence. Studies have shown that honor related violence not only affects young immigrants, but also young people with different sexual orientation then heterosexual. It also shows that the honor violence is not depended on religion or ethnicity.

BAKGRUND: Stress och psykosomatiska besvär är ett av de allvarligaste folkhälsoproblemen i Sverige. Psykisk ohälsa omfattar cirka 20% av sjukdomsbördan i Sverige. Även ungdomar uppvisar ökad grad av stress och psykosomatiska besvär.SYFTE: Syftet med studien var att undersöka förekomsten av självupplevd stress och psykosomatiska besvär hos gymnasieelever på en svensk gymnasieskola.MATERIAL OCH METOD: En enkät delades ut på skolan. 970 elever besvarade enkäten (75%). Enkäten innehöll 16 frågor rörande självupplevd stress och psykosomatiska besvär.

Relationen mellan tränare och aktiv idrottande individ är en viktig faktor för idrottsrelaterad framgång. Många forskare framhäver dess vikt och menar att det ibland är den mest avgörande faktorn. Vidare är det bevisat att engagemang är viktigt för individens idrottsrelaterade prestationer.Syftet med undersökningen är därför att undersöka huruvida relationen mellan tränare och aktiv idrottande individ har ett samband med individens engagemang och om det föreligger skillnader mellan lagidrott och individidrott.Kvantitativ datainsamlingsmetod användes och undersökningen gjordes på 108 stycken (79 pojkar och 29 flickor) unga tävlingsidrottare i åldern 15-18 år. Undersökningen är en tvärsnittsstudie med frågeformulär baserat på tidigare forskning. Analysen gjordes med korrelationsanalys, både för totala gruppen av respondenter och på de olika idrottstyperna individuell idrott (n=55) och lagidrott (n=53) samt genom en multipel regressionsanalys.Resultatet visade på ett positivt, medelstarkt samband där en förändring i engagemang kan förklaras av en förändring i relation till 20 procent.

In Sweden there is scepticism if there really is a difference between the two biggest political parties, the Moderate/Conservative party and the Swedish Social Democrats. The voters feels that the arguments used by both parties are more or less the same and that it does not matter on whom you vote. Hence I am going to compare the parties? policy programs, developed by the members in each party, by an analysis of ideas to see if the two parties are so similar that they hardly are two different options, or if there is a divergence between the two. My choosing of the parties? policy programs comes from a decision to look at the members? party, they are the authors of the programs, the core. I have to admit I am not unbiased in this work.

AbstractObstacles or opportunities? ? A study of the experience of collaboration of social welfare secretaries and school staff.The purpose of this study is to illustrate the importance of the work with children and youth through the joint efforts between different authorities. The study deals with the collaboration between the social services and schools in the Ludvika municipality. The objective of the study is to investigate how teaching personnel and headmasters in compulsory schools and the social welfare secretaries in Ludvika, experience the collaboration, and how this works. On the basis of the objective, we have formulated some relevant questions; To what degree are schools aware of the model of collaboration, which is the basis for collaboration within the municipality, and are there any differences in awareness between different categories of employees? Other questions deal with differences in how the social services and schools experience the collaboration, discrepancies between different schools in this regard and if the respondents? experience any obstacles and/or opportunities by the collaboration.Collaboration is, and has been, a pressing issue for a long time in the public debate.

SammanfattningUngdomar med antisocial problematik är en svårbehandlad grupp där ingen specifik metod har visat sig råda bot på hela problematiken kring ungdomen. Bäst utgång att behandla ungdomar med beteendeproblem återfinns inom institutioner som har en enighet i personalgruppen kring de teorier som är gällande inom verksamheten, så kallad behandlingsintegritet. Syftet med studien var att granska om personalgruppen på en behandlingsverksamhet för ungdomar har ett gemensamt förhållningssätt utifrån de miljöterapeutiska behandlingsprinciper som vägleder verksamheten. Syftet konkretiserades utifrån följande frågeställningar: 1. Vilka behandlingsprinciper är vägledande inom verksamheten? 2.

Children and young people's right to culture is a priority in the Government's cultural policy. Creative school was introduced in 2008 with the aim that children and youth should receive professional culture in school and increasing access to culture in all forms of expression and possibilities of their own creation, with starting points in the school curriculum. The purpose of this bachelor is to explore the view, the treatment and the use of Creative school in Värmland. A comparison has been made between professional culture, which conveys the culture and culture Coordinator who develops and co-ordinates the work of culture in schools, based on their experiences of creating school. I have looked at what barriers and opportunities there are in liaison with the school and how creative activities can be integrated into the school's other subjects.

The aim of this Master´s thesis is to explore how public libraries in a successful way can work in projects with young people. It intends to point out different factors that in a legible way affect the accomplishment and outcome of the project. Another purpose of the study is to uncover the various approaches existing within the projects towards young people and to find out why it is seen as important to work with youngsters, considering the hard work that it requires and the reluctance of the young to visit the library. The examination is based upon eight different and fulfilled projects. Information about these has been received through project descriptions, project reports and documents describing applications for economical benefits.

Industrial buildings are increasing all over Sweden. Farmers are building new modern facilities and the government chooses to build new halls to invest i youth sports. Glulam is the most common framework but there are limitations because of the transport. Therefore, there is a need to develop new solutions to increase the use of glulam.The maximum torque in the eaves was found in the frame with a roof pitch of 18 degrees and a wingspan of 25 meters. Using hand calculations according to Eurocode and comparison with the computer software StatCon, the maximum torque, shear force and utilization rate is calculated.

Ungdomar på hem för Vård eller Boende (HVB-hem) har ofta problematiskt beteende och är i behov av skydd, säkerhet och gränssättning. HVB-hem förväntas utifrån lagstiftning bereda ungdomar vård och behandling för att motverka en ogynnsam utveckling. Inspektionen för vård och omsorg (IVO) ansvarar för tillsynen över verksamheterna. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att intervjua personal på HVB-hem och tillsynsmyndigheten IVO för att undersöka deras uppfattning om hur vård och behandling på HVB-hem bör bedrivas. Vidare syftade studien till att urskilja huruvida lagstiftningen kan tolkas på olika sätt och vilka konsekvenser detta får för vården och behandlingen för ungdomar avseende deras behov av gynnsam psykosocial utveckling.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vad eleverna på gymnasiet anser vara viktigast att lära sig inom historieämnet samt att se vilken skillnad det finns mellan de elever som har föräldrar med förgymnasial utbildning, föräldrar med gymnasial utbildning och föräldrar med eftergymnasial utbildning. Undersökningen har genomförts med hjälp av en enkätundersökning i fyra olika klasser; en barn- och fritidsklass, en naturvetenskaplig klass och två samhällsvetenskapliga klasser. En jämförelse har sedan gjorts med andra liknande undersökningar, t.ex. Youth- and history-undersökningen från 1995 och Sture Långströms undersökning från 2000. Resultaten från min undersökning och de andra pekar på att eleverna anser att det är viktigast och mest intressant med nutidshistoria i Europa och Sverige.
