Although it is striking how limited and narrow the scientific documentation is in analysing the effects of participatory democratic reforms. Still, many of the local governments in Sweden are reshaping their organisations according to the participatory democracy model. Is it a trend and a symbolic action or a veritable action of good-will of the politicians? The paper argues that the idea of participatory democracy has become popular and widely spread.

In today's society there are a lot of offers towards consumers, where they actively have to choose the most appealing offer. In order for an offer to be attractive it must add value in line with the customers demand. Also, it requires that the offer provides a sufficient level of attraction so that the customer selects the particular product/service over another. Furthermore, each offer must exceed the expectations of the visitors to an event, so they feel that the event is something "extraordinary". We have chosen to study how LHC (Linkoping Hockey Club) works with marketing in order to improve the overall customer experience.

Scrum ? en fallstudie från lokala företags perspektiv
Through a case study, I wanted to find out what advantages and disadvantages
local companies consider with scrum and what they think about its future.
To find out what scrum is, I read the literature and scientific articles and
then wrote surveys based on my thoughts.
Further, I also wanted to find out if it?s possible to use scrum in a school
environment and therefore I visited a high school class who used scrum in one
of their projects.
The result was good but could have been better as it requires more training of
scrum to understand everything.
The surveys were distributed to various local companies. After having received
a lot of answers, I concluded that the clear priority was the most positive
feature of scrum and the most negative was that it was difficult to get the
rest of the organization to understand scrum, which creates problems.
Both high school class and local companies believe in scrum?s future, even if
they think scrum will be partially modified to adapt to the
software-development in the future.
According to the survey responses, the most important to get the projects to be
successful both now and in the future is that everyone who work with scrum is
right educated..

The case study consists of qualitative interviews that help explain what the most important motivational factors are for the experienced IT consultants in a company that was founded by a circle of friends. The study concludes that the unique and equal pay model implicates an economic risk to the individual consultant but results in liberties, synergies and benefits. These appeal more than either self-employment or work at a larger IT consultancy that several consultants have backgrounds in. An expansion is ongoing since two years back, which threatened the culture but implicated opportunities for the individual consultants.
