Title: Crisis communication strategy and brand ? A case study of Swedish Red Crossthrough dialog analysisAuthor: Anneli SaarelaPresented: 01.06.2010Purpose: The study addresses the subjects of crisis communication and organisational brand, in relation to stakeholders and brand reputation. The purpose of this essay is to study the dialog regarding the crisis of remunerations with the Swedish Red Cross and how the organisation responds to the criticism. An identification and analysis of the discourse regarding the brand are also included in the study. Part of the empirical material will also be used in relation to Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT).

This report is about a thesis that is performed in and for SYSteam Engineering AB in Motala. The thesis work is divided into three parts, study of the market, programming and electronics. The study part consists of examining and comparing different data acquisition systems for testing of different circuit boards, taking into account the modularity, real-time applications, mobility, environmental, interface hardware and software, to be able to define a general module-based data acquisition system in both hardware and software that enables for future developments.The programming part consists of getting started with Visual Studio, which integrates the Measurement Studio for C#. NET. Measurement Studio includes classes and user controls for testing and measuring and offers tools for acquisition, analysis and presentation of real world data.

This thesis presents a study aiming to identify the selection criteria for the digitization of posters at the National Library of Sweden (Kungl. biblioteket). The theory is that cultural heritage institutions are empowered to decide how our cultural heritage is presented as they select what items (or, as in this study, posters) will be digitized. The poster is studied as it is an interesting media form which historically was an important means of communication. The poster can represent and reflect historical events and opinions in society.

Denna uppsats har underso?kt hur tre globala nyhetskanaler, Al Jazeera English, CNN international och Russia Today English rapporterar om den pa?sta?dda gasattacken i Syrien den 21:a augusti 2013. Syftet var att underso?ka och identifiera vilka frames som respektive kanal anva?nder sig av samt hur de behandlar uppsatsens tre fra?gesta?llningar, A) Vad har ha?nt? B) Vem a?r ansvarig? och C) Hur bo?r man agera?. Studien har utga?tt ifra?n tidigare forskning och teorier om begreppet framing och dess olika variationer sa? som generic/issue specific, visual framing etc.

På Scanias motormontering i Södertälje sker montering av raka- och V8-motorer för lastbil och buss samt av motorer för industriellt och marint bruk. Gruppen DEPG är en av de grupper som arbetar med att framställa verktyg till motormonteringen. Gruppen ansvarar främst för de tillfällen då nya monteringsverktyg ska anskaffas på grund av introduktion av nya eller modifierade motorkomponenter. DEPG önskar att minska behovet av att omarbeta verktyg och utöka verktygens livslängd, för att uppnå detta planerar DEPG att i framtiden skapa verktyg med högre flexibilitet än tidigare. Examensarbetets mål är att skapa en förbättrad verktygsframtagningsprocess, som stödjer och främjar framtagning av monteringsverktyg med en rätt flexibilitetsgrad.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att genom empiri se vilka faktorer som är av central betydelse i konsumentens köpbeslutsprocess och samtidigt pröva riktigheten hos de förpackningsteorierna vi valt som teoretisk referensram.Metod: Empirin samlades in genom en kvalitativ metod bestående av djupintervjuer med konsumenter som köper lågengagemangsprodukten spaghetti.Teoretiska perspektiv: Teorikapitlet strävar efter att ge en bild av några marknadsföringsbegrepp och förpackningen och dess olika element. Till sist presenteras två modeller som ligger till grund för undersökningen.Empirisk analys: Empiri består av tolv stycken djupintervjuer med konsumenter som köper spaghetti. Dessa har sedan tolkats och analyserats utifrån modellen om köpbeslutsprocessen, som är uppbyggd av teorierna.Slutsatser: Slutsatserna är att faktorn information är av centralbetydelse för konsumenten i sitt köpbeslut och ur den teoretiska grund som finns i uppsatsen, kan inte alla teorier ges riktighet. Av undersökningen framkom det också att graden av engagemang i köpbeslutsprocessen har ökat. Enligt konsumenterna ska en optimal förpackning vara återförslutningsbar, vara större och ha refill funktion samt ha en tydlig innehållsdeklaration på svenska.

Westermo Teleindustri tillverkar och säljer telefonmodem för industritillämpningar och ska erbjuda ett konfigureringsverktyg till dessa. Verktyget ska konfigurera Westermos modem med Hayes AT-kommandon genom ett PC program som ska vara enkelt att använda så att deras supportavdelning blir avlastad från en del konfigureringssupport. Min uppgift i detta examensarbete var att ta fram en kravspecifikation och implementera en lösning utifrån denna. Kravspecifikation togs fram genom att skicka ut förfrågningar om önskemål till dotterbolag, distributörer och andra som har nära kontakt med slutkunderna. I kravspecifikationen beskrivs vilken funktionalitet programvaran skall innehålla.

Aqeri has since the past year a new profile with name and logotype, which has createda need for an updated visual product identity. The company is a leading developer,producer and distributer of IT products suitable for extreme environments in industry,defense and vehicles. This new profile with the different segments has together with aproduct identity from two companies resulted in that they have no clear designidentity on their products. From this background the aim of this research is todetermine how a development of a design identity is done to implement it to Aqeri.The design identity can be defined as a product?s identity visualized through its formor appearance which defines what the product is.

Mapping a process enables a greater understanding of the work, and is standard to evaluate and improve a process. This thesis is conducted at Test Bed Mechanical Design at Scania in Södertälje. Test Bed Construction is a complex process, characterized by a large amount of creative work, technical challenges and coordination between different people and different organizational functions.The aim of the thesis was to identify the Test Bed Construction Process and to develop a visual model of the workflow that also served as support for the engineers in their daily work. During the mapping process, comparisons were made with previous research in lean product development to identify process improvement.A literature review on process mapping and process visualisation resulted in a method for process mapping. The study showed that research on process visualisation is neither structured nor well defined.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur pedagoger på två förskolor med olika pedagogisk inriktning ser på mötet med barn inom bild- och formskapande. Frågeställningarna behandlar hur pedagoger arbetar och vill arbeta med skapande, om och hur synen på barn och barns utveckling skiljer sig samt hur pedagoger uppfattar att barn upplever skapande. Intervjuer med sju pedagoger är gjorda på en Montessoriförskola och en Reggio Emilia-inspirerad förskola. Intervjuerna är inspelade på band och samtidigt gjordes även anteckningar. Intervjuerna är sedan transkriberade, tolkade och analyserade. I samband med intervjuerna är även fotografier tagna på förskolornas bild- och formskapande utrymmen.

The objective of this study was to get a better understanding of how the cultivation methods influence the vitality in Prunus avium. The purpose was also to examine if there was any differences in shoot growth and trunk expansion depending on the method of cultivation. To find the answer to this question a literature study and a case study has been done. The literature study concerns the concepts vitality and stress. Different definitions of these concepts are shown and their connection whit establishment is explained. In the background the species Prunus avium, and the four method of cultivation that are included in this case study are described. Measurements of the shoot growth and trunk expansion were made in this study, and as a complement to these methods, a visual estimate of the vitality was made.

The Swedish forestry aims primarily maximize production and economical wins. However, especially urban forests have great qualities as space for recreation and children?s play, which means that other goals should lead the forests management. The Teleborg forest is a wooded area in Växjö, surrounded by urban dwellings, schools, nurseries etc. A great part of the forest was wind felled during the storm Gudrun in 2005 which changed the forest, earlier dominated by spruce, dramatically.
