AbstractBackground: Plantar fasciitis is the most common heel injury and is a long-term pain syndrom in the attachment of the plantar fascia to the calcaneus bone. The condition is treated mainly in primary care, but there is currently no treatment guideline for the treatment of plantar fasciitis in Sweden. The purpose of this study was to investigate which treatment that occurred in primary care in Dalarna, Gävleborg and Västmanland counties, which treatments that were most common alone and in combination with each other. The aim was also to investigate if the four most commonly used treatment methods as physical therapists said they had used were supported in the literature, and if there was any difference between county employees and private physical therapists in the choice of treatment method.Method: 100 physiotherapists in primary care in Dalarna, Gävleborg and Västmanland counties, received a questionnaire by mail. 80 of the 100 physiotherapists were county employees and 20 were private employees.

Studien har pra?glats av en abduktiv ansats da?r vi har haft ett va?xelspel mellan teori och empiri. Prima?rdatan har samlats in genom fyra personliga, semi-struturerade intervjuer samt en strukturerad intervju via mail.

Syfte: Syftet är att analysera hur redovisning till verkligt värde av förvaltningsfastigheter påverkar den rättvisande bilden av ett företag.Bakgrund:                        Värdering av anläggningstillgångar till anskaffningsvärde har länge varit vägledande i Europa. Trots att denna metod är tillförlitlig anses den inte ge en rättvisande bild av företaget. Detta kan istället värdering till verkligt värde anses göra då detta sätt att redovisa skapar relevans i redovisningen. Denna redovisningsmetod är dock förknippad med minskad tillförlitlighet, stora svängningar i resultat och för sin konjunkturförstärkande effekt. Redovisning till verkligt värde har fastighetsbranschen använt sig av sedan införandet av IAS/IFRS 2005.

The making of a cultural historical exhibition usually involves the collaboration of two categories of professionals: the curator, in charge of the exhibition content, and the designer. From these positions, representing content and form, the team is in charge of cooperating towards a shared goal ? the exhibition ? which is the spatial expression of ideas.This MA thesis is based on my work experience as a designer of cultural historical exhibitions. By means of situations where my perspective collided with that of the museum curators?, I examine our different concepts on a number of issues: the meaning of an exhibition; the process; and the perception of what our respective roles are.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reasons a religious minority leader has to convert to a larger religious group and how the leader chooses to communicate this event in certain daily press. In March 2014 the leader and founder of the Christian and charismatic movement ?Livets Ord? (Words of Life), Ulf Ekman, announced his decision converting to the Roman Catholic Church after a 10 year long process of thinking. The communications of Ekman?s linguistic language in the articles are discussed through two discourse analyzing perspective, Laclau & Mouffe?s and Fairclough?s.

De frågeställningar som vi utgick ifrån var: På vilket sätt kan vi anpassa en befintlig Risk management-modell till Svenska Tennisförbundets verksamhet samt vilka risker finns inom Svenska Tennisförbundets verksamhet?MetodEmpirin till vår kvalitativa fallstudie insamlades via sex personliga djupintervjuer, en e-mailintervju, ett samtal samt sekundär data. Det metodiska angreppssättet utgick ifrån en befintlig teori som vi önskade testa på en existerande verksamhet.

For years the northern parts of Sweden, Norrland (translated: North land) has been considered mystified and exotified by the southern, more urban parts of the country. The rural Norrland ? though 60 percent of Sweden ? is seldom a part of the common conversation, meaning that most of the people living in the southern parts simply have no idea what is happening in the north. The one million people living in Norrland, on the other hand, every day gets to know what happens in the south on the evening news. The question about this possible structural relation between the urban and the rural became a large matter of cultural debate in the spring of 2015, If this thesis is true, we have a problem on our hands; can the national news be considered national if half the country is misrepresented? That question is what this essay is trying to find out by analyzing two of Swedens largest national newspapers.

In this essay I analyze the performative aspects relating to Marina Abramovi?'s The Artist Is Present, which took place in spring 2010 at MoMA in New York, from the context of the artist and work, institution and documentation. In this performance work, for the duration of the exhibition, Abramovi? sits completely still opposite another chair where anyone from the audience may sit. The art arises through this participation.

Fuel wood is currently the third largest assortment from the forest in Sweden after pulpwood and lumber. Branches and tops i.e. logging residues are one of the assortments of fuel wood which is a common by-product after harvesting nowadays. The way to utilize, disintegrate and transport the logging residues varies between northern and southern Sweden. Branches and tops are collected throughout the year at appropriate stands, but are consumed mainly wintertime.

Denna uppsats behandlar införandet och implementeringen av IFRS/IAS reglerna i två globala företag, Scania koncern som är ett industriföretag med mycket materiella anläggningstillgångar och lite immateriella tillgångar jämfört med WSP group, som är ett konsultföretag med lite anläggningstillgångar och mycket immateriella tillgångar. Vidare redogörs för hur Scania och WSP värderar och avskriver sina materiella anläggningstillgångar enligt den nya IAS 16. I uppsatsen undersökts även om företagens finansiella rapportering enligt IAS 16 motsvarar de kvalitativa egenskaperna det vill säga; begriplighet, relevans tillförlitlighet och jämförbarhet enligt IASB:s föreställningsram.Metoden som används i undersökningen är en kvalitativ fallstudie. För att genomföra studien har författarna läst de senaste teorierna om IFRS/IAS, samt skriftliga källor om Scania och WSP. Dessutom har tre intervjuer och en mailinterjvu med nyckelpersoner inom IFRS/IAS utförts.Uppsatsen utmynnar i ett resultat som säger att införandet av IFRS /IAS inte påverkade Scanias och WSP:s räkenskaper så mycket, eftersom Sverige och England tidigare hade anpassat sina rekommendationer till IAS.

In 1513 the Florentine humanists Niccolò Machiavelli composed one of the most famous, but also ambiguously interpret, work in the history of politics, Il Principe. Machiavelli´s book The Prince revealed the true nature of politics in Italy in the beginning of the sixteenth century and gives very straightforward advice on how to act to become a successful and powerful political being. Machiavelli´s creation and insights in the reality of politics have be much discredited and condemned in its lack of moral consideration and violent nature. Still it has been read under the centuries with a fascination and eager to understand the structure of power and how to master it. My purpose with this study is to apply this Machiavellian idea of the capable prince on to the earlier research of the Swedish duke Karl, later on King Karl IX.
