In healthcare settings, administrative routines have been made more efficientthrough digitalization of information and the introduction of stationary computers.This situation is especially true when it comes to radiology, where pictures,referrals and patient information now is completely managed by advanced stationarycomputer systems. However, studies have shown that these rationalizationsdo not support flexible and mobile work routines.PocketRIS is a prototype illustrating a mobile terminal for radiology that hasbeen designed to simplify workflow and reduce the cognitive workload of healthcarepersonnel. PocketRIS includes a visualization of the clinicians work situationincluding a personal referral list that can make the user attentive of importantevents.Contextual Design has been used to elicit the basic system requirements for thesystem; 19 contextual inquires was conducted with physicians, nurses and assistantnurses at two different radiology clinics in Sweden during six days. The purposeof the study was also to identify the groups that have the greatest need for amobile terminal. The study was concerned with design and evaluation of differentsolutions with healthcare personnel.The result shows that physicians and assistant nurses have the greatest need ofa mobile terminal.

The functionalism started in southern Europe after world war one and got its breakthrough in Sweden with the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930. Poverty caused many people living in overcrowded conditions which the functionalists wanted to change by using less expensive materials and giving healthier living conditions to the people. The industrialization brought new materials and working methods which made this possible. The Swedish functional style is recognised by its light plaster facing and nearly horizontal roofs. Also the garden design of that time was influenced by the functionalistic ideas. The garden was now introduced as a pleasure garden for not only the rich but for everyone.

Bakgrund: När ett bolag ska göra en vinstutdelning efter ett avslutat verksamhetsår, måste styrelsen enligt nya bestämmelser motivera vinstutdelningen. Vid motivering av vinstutdelning skall styrelsen ta hänsyn till bolagets ekonomiska ställning och göra en prövning enligt försiktighetsregeln. Vinstutdelningen får endast genomföras om den uppfyller kravet på försvarlighet.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur icke börsnoterade koncerners moderbolag motiverar sin vinstutdelning enligt den nya ABL. Vi kommer även att granska hur revisorer upplever att icke börsnoterade koncerner följer de nya lagregleringarna.Nyckelord: Beloppsspärr, försiktighetsregeln, motivering av vinstutdelning, upplysningsplikt, utdelning, vinstutdelning och värdeöverföring.Metod: För att besvara problemformuleringarna valde vi att använda en både kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod. Årsredovisningar i elektronisk form granskades samt så genomfördes det intervjuer med revisorer.Teori: I uppsatsen har vi använt oss utav intressentmodellen och agentteorin.Slutsatser: Efter genomförd undersökning kom vi fram till att den vanligaste motiveringen av vinstutdelningen är nyckeltal.

This essay is about the massive Iranian aid to Hezbollah and the Saudi Arabian, likewise, towards the Taliban. This view that is based on a theory called; economic statecraft. The economic statecraft theory is used in this paper to investigate why Iran?s influence towards Hezbollah has been successful while the Saudis ambitions with the Taliban have failed.

The construction industry is always looking for ways to make the work more efficient aswell as minimize the waste of money in general. At the same time the industry is showing alow awareness of logistics which has to increase in order to improve the industry in thesekind of questions. Projects located in the inner city have high demands on the logistic andthe handling of material due to the so often limited space for storages of the material. Dueto this the purpose of this report is true a case, study and analyze what kind of factors thereis to take into consideration during the materials way from the supplier to the workstationin a project located in the inner city. The data for the report was collected with the help of acase study, and in three different ways.

The paper contains comment, clarification and criticism, even constructive criticism, of some theses that have been put forward by Laurence Bonjour in his In Defense of Pure Reason.It presents a concept of experience that deals with the relation between cognizer and object of experience that has a great similarity to that of Bonjour. Through analysis it is shown that the concept of a priori entails that Bonjour has two concepts of a priori, a narrow and a broad one. The narrow one is, in my own words: According to moderate rationalism a proposition p is a priori justified if and only if you apprehend that p must be true in every possible world. This doesn?t mean that Bonjour doesn?t believe in an epistemological, metaphysical and semantic realm.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine what needs and expectations the patrons have on the local public library services for adult students. With increased knowledge of these matters the library will be able to support and improve the service for users. The focus is on adult students with immigrant background who study Swedish as second language in a municipal adult education school. The main questions are: How do adult students use the library at present? What do they consider to be most important when using the public library for their studies? How do these expectations correspond to their experience of the library services? Two focusgroups and one in-depth interview were carried out.

The number of studies on IFRIC 15 is very limited. The available studies have either been conducted before the introduction of IFRIC 15 or at an early stage of the implementation. This study examines IFRIC 15s practice from a longer perspective. The purpose of this study is to explain the effect that the interpretation IFRIC 15 has had on accounting objectives and qualitative characteristics of the revenue recognition of Swedish construction companies. The study will also analyze whether the construction companies has changed their perception of IFRIC 15 after applying it form a longer time perspective.

During the last decade, there has been an increase in the use of technology-based self-services within the retail sector. The increase is particularly noticeable within the grocery market. The reason behind the increased use of these systems is partially due to the fact that companies within highly competitive retail markets continually look for ways of decreasing costs while upholding efficiency. The problem is that it is difficult to understand the true economical implications of investments relating to these machines. The purpose of this study is to investigate and contribute with new insights regarding the cost-structures of the stationary self-checkout systems and traditional cashier desks, within the retail grocery market.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), även kallad hållbar utveckling och ansvarsfullt företagande, var en term som började användas i slutet av 60-talet. Det är en arbetsmodell där syftet är att få företag ta ansvar för verksamheten och uppmuntra till en positiv inverkan på miljön, marknaden, samhället och anställda. CSR fungerar som en inbyggd självreglerande mekanism, genom vilket ett företag kontrollerar och håller sig uppdaterade beträffande de aktiva lagarna inom internationella normer och etik. Boliden lägger stort fokus och engagemang inom CSR- relaterade frågor. Blan annat har Boliden stärkt företagets CSR- engagemang genom att starta projektet Evaluation of Business Partner (EBP). Ett av huvudmålen med EBP är att höja standarden och öka medvetenheten angående mänskliga rättigheter bland sina affärs- och samarbetspartners.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine Skogsstyrelsens event Skogens Dag as an information channel by looking at information use and information behaviour during the communication process of the event. This is done by examining the aims of Skogsstyrelsens information distribution during the event in relation to its outcomes. The evaluation is focused on long term effects on the target group and it is restricted to Skogens Dag in Borås 2005. The question this thesis intends to answer is: How does the event Skogens Dag function as a tool for information distribution? The theoretical background gives an account of the communication process as well as the relevant aspects of marketing, social marketing, campaigns and public relations, as these are communication attempts that can use an event as a medium.

Syftet är att undersöka om regelverket enligt IFRS har påverkat koncernernas resultat. Vidare undersöker vi om dessa regler i samband med nya regler i ABL påverkat moderföretagens utdelningsbara medel, faktiska utdelning eller utdelningspolicy.Arbetet har en positivistisk prägel och utformningen är deskriptiv. Vi har en deduktiv ansats. Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie med öppna, semistrukturerade intervjuer med åtta företag och två revisionsbyråer. Samtliga av oss valda företag följer de internationella reglerna.

Uppsatsen är en jämförande studie över vilken påverkan standardändringar i USA. respektive Sverige har haft på koncerners resultat och nyckeltal. Denna studie har haft två syften: det ena är att se hur den förändrade redovisningsstandarden för goodwillavskrivningar påverkat svenska koncerners resultat och nyckeltal på den svenska marknaden. Studiens andra syfte har varit att kontrollera hur väl transparenskravet för IFRS 3 har uppfylls efter standardändringen i Sverige.Vår undersökning visar på att alla koncerner med stor goodwillpost i förhållande till eget kapital påverkas mer av standardändringen. De koncerner med en liten goodwillpost i förhållande till eget kapital påverkas mindre.

Denna uppsats behandlar konsekvenserna av IFRS 3. Vårt syfte har varit att belysa vilka konsekvenser IFRS 3 har medfört för företag två år efter införandet. För att få en mer varierad syn valde vi även att intervjua en auktoriserad revisor. Dessa svar har sedan sammanställts för att undersöka vilka konsekvenser det nya regelverket inneburit för bolagen i fråga. Regeländringen har bland annat som syfte att öka harmoniseringen vad gäller redovisningen från företag världen över.

The climate at the labour-market in Sweden today means that students who have recently passed their examinations find it quite difficult to find work. The competetiveness calls for a strategy to find advantages in the employment process. The strategy explored in this thesis is called personal branding. We believe that by building a strong personal brand you can increase the possibilities to influence the decisions of those responsible for recruitments in our society. The question we ask ourselves in this essay is how to build a personal brand with the power to give students a competetive advantage in the employment process.
