Therefore, the pressure to lower prices is increasing making economies of scale and rationalization progressively more important. In 2004, ICA launched private label meat packaged in a modified atmosphere. Consequently, many stores went from in-store cutting-up and packaging to selling centrally packaged and distributed meat. ICA is now developing a concept with fresh fish in modified atmosphere packages and needs to increase the knowledge about the market and the consumer.

Over the last decade, the private insurance market has undergone a stable growth in turnover and growing demand for insurance products in all Member States of the European Union. Therefore, the creation of a single market in insurance will enable consumers to have access to wider choice of insurance products, and insurance companies to gain access to markets in various Member States and compete effectively. The EU legal framework for the insurance industry embraces the Treaty freedoms of services, establishment and capital, the EC Directives and the ECJ case-law. The present thesis identifies numerous factors that hinder the Community insurance market integration and offers possible remedies. The summary of the market obstacles is all-inclusive and reflects the responses to the questionnaires and the Commission surveys.

Matematisk medvetenhet i förskolan : En studie om hur arbetslag använder matematik i verksamheten

Undersokningens syfte har varit att studera hur pedagoger tanker och arbetar kring amnet matematik idag. Internationella undersokningar fran TIMSS Advancerad 2008 (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) och fran PISA 2006 (Program for International Student Assesment) visar att elever inte har de kunskaper i matematik som kravs for att soka till de hogre tekniska utbildningarna. For att Sverige ska kunna folja med i den tekniska utvecklingen internationellt behovs en satsning pa matematik. Redan i forskolan behover barn fa de grundlaggande kunskaper i matematik som ar nodvandiga for fortsatt skolgang. I forslaget till den nya laroplanen (Skolverket, 2009), forstarks forskolans pedagogiska uppdrag vilket ska leda till att ambitionsnivan hojs i forskolan.

Under en tidigare analys av dialogen kring och detaljplanen för ett stadsförnyelseprojekt i Göteborg, vilken jag gjorde i samband med mitt kandidatarbete, blev det tydligt för mig att nyckelorden som används har olika betydelse för olika aktörer. Efter att nyckelorden, eller trendbegreppen som jag har valt att kalla dem, beskrivits i översiktsplaner och stadsbyggnadsdebatt finns det fortfarande ett stort tolkningsutrymme, vilket gör att trendbegreppens motsvarigheter i de fysiska planerna kan se mycket olika ut. Vilka begrepp som används har betydelse för stadsutvecklingen och avslöjar vilka ideal som är framträdande. Syftet med rapporten har varit att undersöka vilka nyckelord/ trendbegrepp som används inom svensk stadsbyggnadsdebatt och projekt idag, samt att utreda begreppens samband med svensk nutida planering. För att uppnå syftet har följande tillvägagångssätt använts: ? Beskrivning av de två tydligaste motpolerna, som jag tyckt mig urskilja i det insamlade materialet; ?den traditionella, europeiska staden? och modernismens/miljonprogrammets planer.

Stureholm - en herrgårdsträdgårds historia, utveckling och framtida skötselmål :

Stureholm Manor and garden is a relatively young farming unit on clay soil in the north western part of Skåne, a province in Southern Sweden. Since the middle of the 19th century the landscape has been actively cultivated and has been transformed from oak forrest into farmingland of high efficiency. The industrial era during the 19th and 20th centuries meant new posssibilites for cultivation of these clay soils. With equipment like steam ploughs and the possibility to obtain fertilizers, the harvest increased considerably. This increased prosperity provided estate Stureholm with a beatuiful corps de logi, a manor. The trends prevailing in Europe around the turn of the century 1800-1900 against the growing industrialism, was turned into a artisan movement known as Arts and Craft. The Swedish followers idealized our Swedish history and they took the turn of a national romantic movement that later turned into neoclassicism.

Vägen till välmåendet

Denna uppsats handlade om att genom en textanalys studera hur två hälsotidskrifter, Hälsa och Må Bra, framställde ämnet kost och hälsa. Hälsoupplysningen började under 1700-talet, med skrifter och utvecklades därefter till ett allt större forum i takt med samhällsutvecklingen. I dagsläget kunde jag identifiera flertalet sätt där hälsoupplysning förekom som tex. via TV, internet, massmedia, reklamannonser, apotek, hälsokostaffärer, dagstidningar, tidskrifter, etc. Av detta urval valde jag att genom en textanalys, samt genom att hämta inspiration av några analysredskap, som metaforer, intertextualitet samt modalitet, studera hur tidskrifterna genom sina artiklar valde att framställa kost och hälsa.

The process of European Integration and creation of the single market revealed many questions and boundaries on the development and improvement of the European Social Policy. Pension?s sustainability has become the priority issue especially during the EU enlargement processes. Different policy instruments and institutions available to governments of Member States in realization of social objectives resulted in a growing diversity of pension polices which produced different combinations of public and private provisions - ?private-public hybrids? , with the state exercising different degrees of influence in their development.

Purpose There are almost infinite numbers of ways to build dairy farms in Sweden. When building a new free stall barn you have the possibility to affect both working environment and animal welfare for many years to come. The construction costs are influenced by which type of barn that is built and what functions it contains, for example one can predict that automatic milking systems are more expensive to integrate than milking parlours. But what is the real cost of today for the construction of free stall barns with milking centres and how is it affected by construction methods and functions? Is the labour time influenced by the building costs? These are some of the questions this report will try to answer.
