Our work is based on a mathematics test which the students accomplished, interviews with student and teachers who are working on this program and the current literatures. The purposes of this work are to search the importance and the effect of the languages understanding in students learning of mathematic in the Individual high school curriculum. In total, sex students and three teachers took part in our study. Tow of the students is mother tongue language student and the remains are second language student. Our study should answer tow important questions:? Do the student in the Individual high school curriculum have the fundamental knowledge in mathematic?? How does the understanding of Swedish language effect in the understanding of the mathematic problems and in the students results in mathematic test?In order to answer those questions, the students have to complete a mathematic test that consists of four parts.

This report describes how a syringe pumpwas developed for Q-linea AB inUppsala Science Park as a bachelor´sthesis at Uppsala University. Thepurpose of the syringe pump is toreplace existing pumps in one of Qlineasdosage instruments. The reasons for whythe pumps are replaced are that they arebig and heavy. Therefore the task was todesign a smaller and lighter syringepump.The goal of the project was to create aprototype of the design that met themechanical requirements posed. Det övergripande syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur och till vilken grad SKF:s utländska investerare har påverkat utvecklingen i SKF mellan 1988 och 2002. Jag valde att inrikta mig på tre specifika områden. För det första valde jag att undersöka utvecklingen kring ägarstrukturen och makten inom SKF. För det andra valde jag att undersöka utländska investerares påverkan på SKF:s finanser och för det tredje att undersöka ett eventuellt samband mellan andelen utländska investerare och SKF-aktiens kursutvecklingUndersökningen resulterade i att det är väldigt svårt att påvisa ett samband mellan utländska investerares ökande ägarandel och SKF:s generella utveckling. In this study I have analysed the history of a forest belonging to Saxåhyttan in Värmland. The study area is 448 hectares and has been used by iron industry since the 16th century. A forest that has been used by man during at least 400 years should have few ecological values. This inventory however shows the opposite. AbstractOur purpose for making this study is to study the implementation, the use of and the effects of Lean within our case objects.  We chose to make this thesis by case studies. The three themes mentioned above is also the main research questions that we aim to find an answer to by this study. We have chosen to do a cross section analysis where we conducted structured interviews to find answers to these questions. The theoretical reference frame consists partly of traditional theoreticians within Lean but also more recent research within the subject as well as theory specifically for Lean within the Health Care sector.The result of this study shows in all our case studies that the Management has been supporting the implementation, but that the implementation process proceeds faster if also the professionals are involved in the process.  To succeed with the implementation there is a great need for good reasons and strives that can benefit the professionals. By the use of Lean our case studies have evaluated its processes, with the main intentions being to reduce waste activities and to create flows with ?pull systems?.

The Swedish State Road Administration has since 1992 procured operations and maintenance of state roads on the open market. The procurement has been termed ?Grundpaket Drift?, GPD, and comprises mostly operational measures for road networks.The clients of GPD, SRA regions, have gradually changed the original documentation in order to adapt it to local conditions. This process has gradually led to that some parts of the documentation are creating problems for contractors interested in procuring jobs.This thesis tries to analyze GPD and clarify the differences that may be essential to the procurement process and to facilitate future joint working projects and processing descriptions..

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka om eleverna i årskurs 3 kan nåmålen i matematik enbart genom att räkna i matematikboken.Utgångspunkt för analysen har varit de nya målen i matematik som finnssom förslag från Skolverket. För att nå syftet har en läromedelsanalyssamt en intervjustudie på en skola i södra Sverige med lärare i årskurs 1-3 genomförts.Resultatet av både läromedelsanalysen och intervjustudien visar atteleverna inte kan nå samtliga mål för det tredje skolåret enbart genom atträkna i matematikboken. En individualisering av matematiken behövsför att ge alla elever möjlighet att nå målen. Med de nya målen villregeringen ge alla elever en likvärdig utbildning. Då krävs att lärarna tarin annat material, för att konkretisera matematiken och inte binda upp sigvid en lärobok..

Syftet med undersökningen är ta reda på vilken förståelse elever från årskurs 5 har för ljuskällans tekniska utveckling. Syftet har uppnåtts med hjälp av frågeställningarnaVilken kunskap visar elever i årskurs 5 om ljuskällans tekniska utveckling? och Vilken kunskap visar elever i årskurs 5 om glöd- och lågenergiglödlampan som komponent i ett tekniskt system? Metoden som valts är kvalitativa intervjuer och innefattar totalt tio olika djupgående intervjuer. Under intervjuerna har eleverna fått placera fem olika ljuskällor i historisk ordning, med hjälp av dessa bilder har de fått beskriva den tekniska utvecklingen för att tillslut hamna på elsystemet. Resultatet visar att eleverna har mycket god kunskap om ljuskällans tekniska utveckling och god kunskap om systemet bakom glöd- och lågenergiglödlampan.

Under de senaste två decennierna har olika modeller och metodologier influerat internredovisningen i riktning mot att ta hänsyn till fler faktorer än rent finansiella. Nyckeltal hämtade ur verksamhetens olika områden ska väljas på ett sådant sätt att de tydligt återspeglar huruvida företaget lyckas med sin strategi. Dessa tongångar har inte fått fullt gehör bland de fyra företag som undersöks i denna studie. De undersökta företagen, Ångpanneföreningen, Capgemini, HiQ och Mogul, verkar helt eller delvis i IT-konsultbranschen, och kan alltså klassificeras som kunskapsintensiva. Detta gör dem till goda kandidater för modernare redovisningskoncept, eftersom de inte verkar i en traditionell bransch där tillverkning och logistik dominerar internredovisningen.

The purpose of this report is to come up with possible improvement suggestions to the distribution central at Götene Stål & Verktygs AB (GSV). GSV is a wholesale dealer located in Götene. The company doesn?t produce anything it self, it buys in products and sells them to customers.The distribution central at GSV is the place where the products comes in and gets ready to deliver.To come up with possible improvement suggestions we started with process mapping over the main process and the distribution centre process. The main process here is from the point where the customer gives GSV an order to the point where GSV deliver the order.Our result shows that the major problem in the distribution central at GSV is the big volume differences in the incoming goods.

Databases are an easy way of storing information kept together and accessible and can save time by finding the information easier. Cochleaimplant could be seen as a form of advanced hearing aid, this product consists of two parts, an external part that recieves sound and sends signals to the internal part through electromagnetism. The internal part is the implant itself and is surgically placed in to the cochlea. Örebro University hospital has just started working within the field of Cochleaimplants and are therefore in need of a database to store patient related information.The database problem was solved using Microsoft Access 2003 combined with the built-in support for Visual Basic, which is a sort of programming language. The result of the thesis work was a fully functioning database according to the given specification and is now being used at Örebro University hospital..

Sammanfattningen syftar till att ge en övergripande bild om vad arbetet handlar om, för att skapa en nyfikenhet till att läsa hela arbetet.Studiens syfte var att analysera alternativa distributionssystem för petroleumprodukter från Gävle Hamn. Där vi har valt två slutdestinationer, norra Stockholmsregionen med Brista som ett alternativ och det andra alternativet är Västerås. De faktorer som vi har utgått från när vi har analyserat distributionssystemen är ekonomiska, miljömässiga och tekniska möjligheter.Den metod som användes var kvalitativ och det empiriska materialet inhämtades genom intervjuer. I studien har nio respondenter intervjuats, vi anser att de personerna har varit relevanta för studiens syfte. Resultatet har analyserats med hjälp av tidigare forskning och teorier inom ämnet.Resultatet visade att det skulle vara ekonomsikt, miljömässigt och tekniskt möjligt att starta upp petroleumtransporter till norra stockholmsområdet.
