The purpose with this essay was to examine how the European Union is working totransfer norms to states they signed an agreement with and provide support for inframe of the Barcelona process and the Tacis programme. The theory which weused was Ian Manners (PhD in Political Science) theory of "the EU as a uniquenormative power". The aim was to examine whether the EU - which Manners mean- has had a normative power to influence states to change. We used a qualitativeapproach through the use of a multiple case study and qualitative text and contentanalysis. The States which formed the basis of our study were within the BarcelonaProcess; Morocco and Tunisia as well as Azerbaijan and Armenia funded by theTacis programme.

Konsumenter vill gärna tro att de fattar rationella beslut utifrån en produkts faktiska egenskaper. Det har däremot visat sig att konsumenter inte alltid är helt rationella utan ofta influeras av en produkts yttre stimuli, som exempelvis pris och varumärke. Vetskapen om hur yttre stimuli faktiskt påverkar konsumenters upplevda kvalitet beroende på produkt är ytterst vital och kan bistå marknadsförare med värdefull information i sitt dagliga arbete. Syftet med uppsatsen att undersöka till vilken grad yttre stimuli i form av pris, varumärke och tidigare konsumenters produktbetyg påverkar konsumentens upplevda kvalitet för en dagligvara respektive en sällanköpsvara. För att besvara syftet har fem hypoteser sammanställts utifrån vald teori.

Under de senaste 20 åren har priset på skogsfastigheter ökat dramatiskt. Historiskt sett har priset på skogsfastigheter haft en tydlig koppling till skogens avkastning, men detta samband tycks inte längre gälla. Utöver värdet av skogens ekonomiska avkastning, tillkommer idag värdet av ickemonetära resurser som tidigare hade en begränsad betydelse för fastigheternas pris. Faktorer som bonitet och åldersfördelning påverkar en skogsfastighets avkastning. Men är det självklart att dessa faktorer även påverkar skogsfastigheters pris? Om utvecklingen av fastighetspriset medfört en försvagad koppling mellan avkastning och pris, kan detta då förklaras av att tidigare prispåverkande faktorer inte längre beaktas i fastighetsvärderingarna? Syftet med studien var med bakgrund av detta att undersöka hur ett antal faktorer påverkar fastigheters pris; däribland åldersfördelningen och boniteten.

Vi har sett trender i samhället som tyder på att vår konsumtion har flyttats mot mer immateriella produktegenskaper. Med en hög levnadsstandard konsumerar vi mycket och vi lägger mycket pengar på varumärken. Vi tittar på fenomenet prispremium, att betala mycket för ett varumärke och hur pris påverkar konsumenters upplevda produktkvalitet. Vi försöker besvara frågan om varumärkeskonsumenter, konsumenter som ofta betalar prispremium, får ut ett mervärde i form av en högre upplevd kvalitet just på grund utav ett högt produktpris. Vi frågar oss samtidigt om varumärkeskonsumenter har ett högre acceptanspris för produkter i allmänhet då de betalar mer än bara för varans fysiska egenskaper.

Swedish family companies are facing a tremendous change in the form of generation changes because of the large part of owners that are about to retire. If all 45 000 to 50 000 family companies ceases to exist, Sweden looses a significant part of business trade.There are numbers of different methods for an older generation of owners to transfer their companies to a younger generation such as inheritance, gift, will, internal stock transfer, division?s etc., where inheritance is the most complex area. That an owner of a company dies without any plan for the future of the company is not preferable because the rules of legal successions occur. The law system regarding inheritance is usually not a good method since the surviving wife, who has the primary right to the inheritance, may not be interested in the company.

E-handeln har haft en enorm tillväxt de senaste åren och börjar konkurrera ut detaljhandeln på marknaden. Internets utveckling har bidragit till att konsumenter idag kan handla enklare och billigare genom e-handel. Ett problem som företagen ständigt står inför är att identifiera vilka faktorer som tillfredställer konsumentens behov på bästa möjliga sätt.Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur faktorerna; avstånd, tid, pris, bra service och information i relation till varandra påverkar konsumentens val mellan e-handel respektive detaljhandel vid köp av mobiltelefon och böcker. Dessutom avser vi att studera likheter och skillnader mellan män och kvinnor.Resultatet från denna undersökning bygger på en kvantitativ enkätundersökning utförd med hjälp av studenter i Ekonomikum vid Uppsala Universitet. Studenter anser att pris och information är de viktigaste faktorerna vid köp av mobiltelefon, medan pris och tid är mest viktiga vid köp av böcker.

Vectors based on lentivirus backbones have revolutionized our ability to transfer genesinto many cell types. Lentiviral vectors integrate into the chromatin of target cells and do not transfer any viral genes causing vector replication. Both of these features arecommonly used in gene therapy and have been used clinically in individuals sufferingfrom cancer, infections and genetic diseases. It has been discovered that T-cells can be genetically modified to be used as effective weapons against cancer: therefore virus mustbe produced to deliver the gene of interest into the T-cells. In this project, lentiviralvectors have been produced to transfer the gene coding for a chimeric antigen receptor(CAR) which is directed to CD19 on B-cells.

This report deals with the theory and empirical evidence of how knowledge generated within a project is to be captured and shared with other projects and the surrounding organization, after the end of a project. A number of authors have highlighted knowledge management within a company as a key component in building a unique competitive advantage and knowledge should therefore be considered a very important resource within companies. The difficulties of ensuring that knowledge generated within a project can benefit other projects are many. The nature of the project form has been highlighted as one of the biggest problems, due to the fact that budget and time requirements often restrict the propensity to work with knowledge transfer. Other difficulties that this report highlights are in particular the lack of a knowledge sharing culture within the organizations, as well as human cognitive and psychological limitations and lack of tools design for knowledge transfer.

I denna uppsats undersöks ungdomars användning av gratis mobilapplikationer. Uppsatsen lyfter fram faktorer som påverkar applikationsanvändningen och förklarar hur faktorerna i jämförelse med varandra påverkar användningen. Genom detta nyanseras även skillnader mellan användningen av gratis-applikationer och betal-applikationer.En kvalitativ studie gjordes i form av två fokusgrupper där den åtskiljande faktorn var förvärvsinkomst. Deltagarna fick i grupper diskutera olika teman, till exempel pris, sociala påtryckningar och attityd kring användningen av mobilapplikationer. Resultatet av gruppintervjuerna tolkades och analyserades utifrån en tolkningsram baserad på företagsekonomiska teorier.

Companies that sell digital products such as software and movies transfer large amounts of data to its customers. In order to send this amount of data using FTP or HTTP and still maintain a high speed transfer rate it is required that the company have a large number of servers and a huge bandwidth. Servers and bandwidth costs money which means they have great costs on the distribution of their products. In order to reduce distribution costs, P2P technology can be used and the most powerful technology to transmit popular files is called BitTorrent.BitTorrent requires users to share their bandwidth. Nowadays, BitTorrent is frequently used to transfer products that are free of charge; one example is the Linux distribution Ubuntu.

Following the accident at the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl in 1986, great volumes of137Cs were distributed over large parts of the former Soviet Union and Europe. Over Scotland,radiocaesium was deposited as wet deposition. Due to the relatively long physical half-life of30 years, there are still measurable activity concentrations in the natural environment. Thisstudy was made on two organic soils, Knockandy Hill and Rora Moss, situated in the easternpart of the central highlands of Scotland. At these two sites, studies on migration and transferbetween soil and plants were conducted.

In recent years cognitive training in order to improve cognitive abilities have becomeincreasingly popular and a lot of research has been conducted within this field. The natural agingprocess has a negative effect on many of our cognitive abilities and this relationship also has a strongconnection with hearing loss. Elderly with hearing loss is therefore a group that could benefit fromcognitive training. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate different types of cognitivetraining directed towards working memory in older adults and to examine the results observedregarding efficacy of this type of training and its transfer effect. Method: A literature reviewconsisting of 17 scientific articles published between 2005-2014.

Vi har i vår uppsats undersökt huruvida det finns korrelationssamband mellan makroekonomiskafaktorerna och pris- och omsättningsutvecklingen för villor, för perioden 1990-2002. Faktorerna har i tidsserier analyserats med hjälp av multipel regressionsanalys.Resultaten av vår undersökning tyder på att förändringar av makroekonomiska faktorer leder till förändringar på villamarknaden. Resultaten är dock inte entydiga varför vi inte kan påvisa någon generellt gltig formel.

The purpose of this thesis for Sapa Heat Transfer is to examine a furnace in which aluminium is pre-heated before hot rolling. The project is modeled in a computer environment in which the air flow in the furnace and the heat transfer to the aluminium solids are included. The computer environment and its governing equations, as well as boundary conditions and generalizations, are presented and explained.The simulations are based on two models. The first model has an asymmetric solid placement, which is how it looks in today's ovens. It is validated against collected data.
