Syftet med föreliggande studie är att undersöka hur ledare på högre nivå idag ser på begreppen ledarskap och kommunikation. Jag har studerat hur dessa ledare konstruerar begreppet ledarskap och kommunikation och förhållandet dem emellan. Jag har ställt frågor som syftar till hur de idag ser på begrepp som dessa, samt också spårat uttalanden som skiljer på dialog och diskussion, transmission eller meningsskapande kommunikation. Vad gäller ledarskap har jag spårat uttalanden som kan belysa varifrån konstruktioner om ledarskap kommer. Problemet som jag ser det, är att de värderingar som implicit ligger i begreppet ledarskap motarbetar de ledarskapsfilosofier som gör ett försök att utveckla framtidens ledarskap genom att lägga på olika adjektiv som kommunikativt, visionärt, symboliskt etcetera.Jag vill alltså i denna studie lyfta fram ett synsätt som lägger fokus på kommunikationen, inte ledarskapet, med tanke på att det idag argumenteras för något som kallas kommunikativt ledarskap.

The main purpose of this thesis has been to find a way to evaluate the soil parameters for the Total sounding method (TS), such as the inner friction angles and settlement modules. This study only includes an analysis of soil profiles from the Stockholm region. The chosen location for the study is a proposed residential area east of Igelstaviken in Södertälje. Presently, the subject plot is located in a residential area and is also adjacent to a school area.Total sounding is originally a Norwegian soil testing method. The differences between the sounding methods (weight-, ram-, CPT-sounding) are for instance how the sound is driven into the ground and what kind of parameters that are registered.

Detta examensarbete är utfört mot två institutioner vid universitetet. Dels institutionen för Arbetsvetenskap och avdelningen för industriell produktionsmiljö men också institutionen för Industriell ekonomi och samhällsvetenskap och avdelningen för kvalitets- & miljöledning. --------------- Bakgrunden till detta examensarbete var att Scanias transmissionstillverkning i Södertälje, DX, hade ett behov av att kartlägga sitt kvalitetssäkringsarbete för att identifiera aktiviteter och brister i detsamma. Syftet med examensarbetet var därför att göra denna kartläggning, beskriva bristerna samt ge förslag på förbättringar. I kartläggningen användes i huvudsak intervjuer och observationer för att studera DX personal och tillverkning.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att utifrån ett Scaniaperspektiv ta fram konkreta förslag för en förbättrad produktionsstrategi av kamaxelhärdningen på Scania Transmission. Det rekommenderade förslaget ska ha en kapacitet på 120.000 kamaxlar/år vid 3-skift. Arbetet har fortskridit i fem större block: litteraturstudie, kartläggning av nuläge, benchmarking, framtagning och utvärdering av förslag samt rekommendationer och slutsatser. Som hjälp har använts verktyg som t.ex. VSM (design av värdeflöden), FSLP (förenklad systematisk lokalplanläggning) och Scanias investeringskalkylmodell MIKA.

Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) är ett virus som först observerades hos en patient år 2012 på ett sjukhus i Saudiarabien. Viruset orsakar luftvägssymptom och ibland gastrointestinala symptom. Dödligheten hos människa är över 30%. Eftersom tidigare erfarenhet har visat att nya coronavirus ofta har sitt ursprung i en djurpopulation har många studier gjorts för att undersöka spridningen av MERS-CoV och förekomsten av en eller flera reservoirer. Denna litteraturstudie har som mål att undersöka vilka bevis det finns för dromedarens roll i smittspridningen av MERS-CoV. Då flera seroepidemiologiska studier gjorts som visar att MERS-CoV eller ett nära besläktat virus har cirkulerat i dromedarpopulationen i över 20 år har man gått vidare och undersökt bl.a.

This report is the result of an investigation of the possibility to use RFID-technology in a producing company. The investigation is focused on a flow between the company?s producing subsidiary company in Lithuania and its main facility in Sweden.RFID is the abbreviation for radiofrequency identification. The RFID-technology forms the base of a system with wireless information transmission between an object to which a transponder, also called tag, has been attached and a reader. The information is transmitted by radio waves and the system is equipped with software that can digitalise the radio waves.

Vi, Anna Nilsson och Jeanette Svensson, valde att producera musikvideos under vårat kandidatarbete på Blekinge tekniska högskola. Detta eftersom vi båda har ett stort intresse till musik och rörlig bild. Vi valde att göra två stycken för att lära oss produktionens process grundligt och för att nu kunna jämför de båda och av detta ta lärdom. Den ena musikvideon gjorde vi till en skånsk duett som heter KC och den andra till Advance Patrol. Båda låtarna är inom genren hiphop. Vårt mål med projektet var att skapa två videos som inte följde den generella mallen för hiphop-videos.

An uncountable number of companies are present in foreign markets as a result of what we commonly choose to call globalization. This is especially true for Swedish companies traditionally operating on small markets. A company that is about to establish on a new market is faced not only with possibilities but also with challenges and risks. Researchers have found that companies that establish on foreign markets will have to deal with competitors on the national as well as on the global market, and therefore need consider how they globalize their brands. In addition to this, a brand can only reach international success if its message is coherent within and across every single market.

This is a critical discourse analysis of the conformation of the conflict in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, as constructed by Ekot, a news-show on Radio Sweden. The ambition of this bachelor thesis is to examine the production of a Congolese conflict for a Swedish audience and to find out how the construction differences with and without a reporter in the field. To obtain this purpose the narrative is studied as well as the use of voices that define the conflict. The construction of proximity between Swedish audience and the Congolese event and the meaning of sound to stabilize the formation of discourse within foreign news is examined as well. To conform and explain foreign news it must be put in relation to a starting point.

AbstractAccording to research made by Statistics Sweden on the members of the labor union IF Metall the number of reported musculoskeletal disorders for employees working under the collective bargaining agreement for the automotive industry has almost doubled since 2003. During 2004- 2006 and 2008 male assembly workers were the occupational group with the highest amount of reported work related disorders in Sweden. To prevent musculoskeletal disorders is according to Rose and Orrenius important both for the individual, the society and the industry by reducing economic and personal costs. The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze how the manufacturing industry is affected by musculoskeletal disorders that occur when working with line assembly and how companies can prevent them. The report aims to provide the reader with an understanding of what musculoskeletal disorders are, to which extent they occur in assembly, how companies are directed by laws and regulations and how they affect the Swedish manufacturing industry and their employees.

Cnior Mobile AB i Lindesberg utvecklar en mobil trygghetstelefon för äldre. Detta examensarbete går ut på att utforma en handsfree-enhet för denna. Handsfree-enheten ska integreras i larmknappen, som bärs av användaren runt handleden, och har kontakt med telefonen via blåtandsradio. I examensarbetet ingår att välja ut lämplig högtalare och mikrofon, hitta lösningar för smuts- och vattentålighet samt att lösa problem med ekon och bakgrundsstörningar.En högtalare hittades som uppfyllde kraven för smuts- och vattentålighet samtidigt som den hade utmärkt frekvensgång för återgivning av tydligt tal. Vattenavrinning från högtalaren löstes genom att ett sinussvep sänds ut från högtalaren varje gång ett samtal ska kopplas upp.
