Behavioral problems are one of the leading reasons for re-homing and euthanasia in dogs. It is estimated that between 40 ? 87 % of dogs suffer from some sort of behavioural problem, making it an important animal welfare issue. Separation anxiety is one of the most common behavior problems encountered in dogs after problems related to aggression. This thesis is aimed at examining the etiology behind separation anxiety related behavior in dogs based on existing literature as well as comparing and evaluating the efficiency on suggested treatment protocols.

The farm management system controlled traffic farming (CTF) aims to reduce soil compaction by restricting the field traffic from agricultural machinery to permanent traffic lanes. Literature and empirical findings show that soil compaction and field traffic from heavy machinery may affect crop growth negatively, reducing crop yields. If grass-clover leys are subject to heavy field traffic the botanic composition might be altered, providing a lower clover content in the forage. Clover as a silage feed is rich in protein providing good conditions for high yielding dairy cows. Grass-clover silage production is generally associated with intensive field traffic.

BAKGRUNDI detta avsnitt redogjorde vi för tidigare forskning och den teoretiska utgångspunkten. Somtidigare forskning behandlade vi läroplanen, forskning om förskollärarnas förhållningssättunder och efter en krissituation, livet efter separationen, växelvist och ensam vårdnad samtforskning om pojkars och flickors reaktion i en krissituation Under teoretiskt förhållningssättbehandlade vi anknytningsteorin och resiliensforskning.SYFTEVårt syfte var att ta reda på hur förskollärare resonerar kring bemötande av barn ochföräldrar under och efter en separation.METODVi genomförde sju kvalitativa intervjuer i förskoleverksamhet i västra och norra Sverige iverksamheter som hade koppling till vår yrkesroll .RESULTATResultatet visade att förskollärarna har blandade erfarenheter av att möta barn och föräldrarunder och efter en separation och att det är viktigt att lyssna på alla parter, men att aldrig taställning. Det är viktigt med ett fungerande samarbete mellan förskola och hem så att detunderlättar för barnen. Resultatet visade även att förskollärarna sällan har tillgång till någotkrismaterial och om de har det är det ett material som sammanställdes av personalen iförskoleverksamhet..

The streetscape is a complex environment with a lot of different parts and users. If you look at the streetscapes main parts you have floor, walls, roof and furniture. The floor in the streetscape, the street, consists of the ground and the paving. It can be made of a lot of different materials with both architectonic and practical functions. The walls usually consist of the houses. They have a big influence on the streetscape depending on architecture, heights and widths.

Denna uppsats behandlar frågeställningen ?Hur underlättar man en parallell utveckling av en- samt flerspelar-funktionalitet i ett spel??. Anledningen till frågeställningen är att en separation mellan de två lägena, tror vi, får en positiv inverkan på agilitet i mjukvaruutvecklingsprojekt inriktat mot spel, något som spelutvecklingsföretagen och utvecklare historiskt sett haft problem med. Samtidigt som en separation av funktionaliteten delar de olika kunskapsområden (spellogik och nätverk) så att rätt person kan arbeta med rätt sak. Målet med denna uppsats är att försöka bana väg för vidare forskning snarare än att helt lösa problemet.

Computational techniques have transformed the journalistic approach. Journalists now have the opportunity to integrate user-statistics from the news website with their work. Singer (2011) argues that journalists seem particularly afraid of items, which they perceive as trivial or otherwise unsavory, will prove popular - potentially creating management pressures to produce more of those stories. She describes this practice as ??traffic whoring??.

Syftet med denna studie var att belysa barn och ungdomars erfarenheter, upplevelser och eventuella risk-och skyddsfaktorer i samband med föräldrarnas separation. Undersöka betydelsen av goda familjerelationer och vilka möjliga stödåtgärder sjuksköterskor kan använda för att hjälpa barn och ungdomar som inte mår bra av en separation.Metoden var utformad som en retrospektiv systematisk litteraturstudie och sökningar gjordes i databaser, framförallt via Högskolan Dalarna bibliotek. I resultatet framkommer hur barn upplever separationer, både positiva och negativa aspekter. Bra relationer både inom och utom familjen är viktiga för barnen vilket framkommer genomgående i arbetet. Umgängesföräldern har en viktig roll för barnen.

Tidigare studier visar, att skilsmässan medförde stora förändringar för barnen. Påfrestningar i familjesituationen efter skilsmässan påverkade barnens känslor, vilket ofta yttrade sig i en sorg efter förlusten av att inte vara en hel familj längre. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva skolsköterskans erfarenheter av skolbarns hälsa och hälsofrämjande arbete i samband med föräldrars separation. Metod: Metoden som användes var en intervjustudie med kvalitativ ansats.

But cyclists are more vulnerable on the roads than other vehicle users because of the lack of protection. This means that a large proportion of road safety for cyclists is based on the design of the traffic environment. Since most serious bicycle accidents are those that occur in conflict with motor vehicles, and the majority of these accidents occur at intersections, these areas are of great importance forcyclist?s safety.The  purpose  of  this  paper  is  to  highlight  bicycle  accidents  at  intersections  and  to  suggest improvements  in three accident-prone junctions  in Stockholm.  This is  achieved  by  the study of accident statistics, literature and finally three case studies.The literature study focused on cyclists, traffic safety and traffic safety measures.

Automatic milking systems (AMS) provide the opportunity for less manual labour and an increased milking frequency. But in order to reach an optimal milking frequency a well-functioning cow traffic is crucial. There are many factors affecting cow traffic but one factor that has not been studied thoroughly yet is the effect of different light intensities during the night, 22.00 h to 05.00 h. Therefore the aim of this study was to determine the effect of different light intensities during the night on number of selection gate passages (GP), milking frequency and milk yield. The study was conducted as a Latin square were three light intensities were applied: LOW (11 ± 3 lux), INT (33 ± 1 lux) and HIGH (74 ± 6 lux), in three different herds.

I olika sammanhang och i olika omfattning separeras mor och barn idag inom den perinatala vården. Då barnet behöver vård på neonatalavdelning leder det ofta till upprepad och långvarig separation mellan föräldrarna och barnet. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att beskriva föräldrars upplevelse av separation från sitt nyfödda barn efter förlossningen. Metod- studien är en systematisk litteraturstudie där 15 vetenskapliga artiklar ingår. Resultat- situationer som leder till separation mellan mamma och barn kan utgöra ett unikt tillfälle för pappan till nära kontakt och tidig anknytning mellan honom och barnet.

The purpose of this essay is to study and compare the air traffic with the train traffic between Gothenburg ? Stockholm. The study is based on three different perspectives: travelling time, travelling cost and the environmental effects. With those three factors included in the study, it will be more useful to determine if the unnecessary travel exist.This essay is based on quantitative information which has been gathered from the booking system of the train- and airline company?s websites.

Two of the main approach roads into the city of Enköping are Salavägen and Stockholmsvägen. They are connected to each other through the street Bangårdsgatan in the roundabout Salatullen and crossing Fannakorset, respectively. These crossings are from time to time heavily loaded, which is why the municipality plan for a new street in parallel to Bangårdsgatan. The traffic will then be spread out and is thereby reducing the density. The new street is actually an extension of the existing Mästergatan, a side street to Salavägen, to the east and connecting it to Stockholmsvägen or a street nearby.The purpose of this Master thesis is to show how the new street can be drawn in order to discharge the traffic in the area between the roundabout Salatullen and the crossing Fannakorset.
