Since some years Linköping has invested in biogas production, mainly from offal's, residuals from food industry and manure. The municipality goes for biogas in the local traffic and in all transportation. It is also possible for private car owners to run their cars on biogas. The purpose of this essay is to perform a cost-benefit analysis and examine if the project has been beneficial from a social point of view. The effects have been identified, measured and monetarily valued. The essay is limited to include the year of 2006 only.

Ökande behov av vård i dagens samhälle kräver ett väl utvecklat transportsystem för eneffektiv vård. För att en god vård räcker det inte bara utveckla vår hälsovård, utan det måsteockså utveckla transportsystem och materialflöde inom sjukhuset. Undersökningsobjektet avdenna studie är transportsystem i Södersjukhuset, där i nuläget all transport sker ikorridorerna via förarstyrda truckar.Korridorer är de mest besökta rummen i sjukhusen. Det är således viktigt att se till att ha entrygg och trivsam miljö i korridorerna. Därför krävs det tillsyn till en hel del normer ochbestämmelser som framförallt boverket ställer på dessa byggnader.I detta arbete har kulvertarna (korridorerna) på Södersjukhuset undersökts.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate an existing user interface. The company in question has a web-based user interface (available through logging in via their website), but they are interested in making the process of using the interface more convenient and the interface more accessible, so that users without a background in computing can properly manage the interface. At the same time they want to apply additional functionalities in order create and to manage increased traffic on the company?s website. For this reason it is important to take into account the issues involved in human-computer interaction (HCI) as well as aspects of cognitive psychology in order to make the tool and the web interface more usable, more motivational, and therefore more efficient and professional.

Minskad tillgång på fossila material och ökade energibehov i värden skapar ett behov av att utveckla alternativa och miljömässigt hållbara lösningar. Biobränsle har därför växt till en av de viktigaste förnyelsebara energikällorna i målet mot ett koldioxidneutralt samhälle. Dock skapar det obearbetade biobränslet problem, på grund av den höga fuktkvoten, mellan 50-150 %. Som en följd finns ett torkbehov som måste lösas på ett miljö- och energieffektivt sätt. Idag står torkningen av biomaterial innan pelletering för 25 % av den totala kostnaden vid pelletstillverkning.Kostnaden för att torka biomaterialet gör det viktigt att effektivisera torkningen, samtidigt bidrar torkningen till utsläpp av miljöfarliga ämnen såsom terpener.

Med utgångspunkt från Fordonsprogrammet, inriktning Transport, diskuteras i denna studie olika aspekter runt dokumentation - rörande elevers APU. Hur utförs dokumentationen idag, vad dokumenteras samt för vem är dokumentationen egentligen till för? Genom studien växer tre tydliga och bakomliggande aspekter eller dimensioner fram att ta hänsyn till vid val av dokumentationssystem. Sist i studien föreslås dessutom en dokumentationsmodell som innefattar alla tre dimensionerna: elevrättsligt, pedagogiskt och samhälleligt..

Syftet med studien var att ge en förståelse för undervisningens betydelse för elevens motivation i kärnämnet engelska vid fordonsprogrammet. För att besvara syftet genomfördes en kvalitativ semistrukturerad intervju med sex gymnasieelever vid fordonsprogrammets gren transport. Resultatet visade att eleverna upplevde ämnet i sig både tråkigt och svårt, speciellt grammatiken. Det eleverna upplevde som motiverande var delaktighet, när de fick vara med att bestämma om till exempel arbetsformer. Vidare ansåg eleverna att även den tekniska engelskan var mycket motiverande, något de gärna ville ha mer av..

Since June 1999, the Napster software has made the happiness of millions of individuals who used it to obtain and share free audio files Mp3. Purpose: Corporations today see a greater responsibility towards society regarding the environmental impact of their actions, using available transportation options that are more eco-friendly can reduce this impact significantly. Martinsen and Björklund (2012) identifies a set of gaps between supply and demand of green logistics services. This paper aims to address what it is that affects the demand for these alternative solutions and what could be done to increase the usage of them, thereby decreasing this gap.Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative study with six Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and 24 companies that purchase transportation services, all operating in Sweden. Data is collected through semi-structured telephone interviews with people responsible for the purchasing of transports as well as key account managers within the service providing companies.Findings: Just as the LSP?s interviewed in this paper thought, the main focus of the transport buying companies are the costs.

Metod: Vi har använt oss dels av den kvalitativa intervjun, dels av den kvantitativa enkätmetoden. Informanterna har varit elever på olika gymnasieskolor, gymnasielärare och personal som arbetar i transportbranschen. Resultat: Den faktor som påverkar eleverna, både pojkar och flickor, mest i sitt val är inställningen att lastbil det är något som män håller på med. De flickor som trots denna inställning väljer transport gör det pga ett stort intresse av lastbilar och av chaufförsjobbet..

The aim of this Master of Science Thesis is to develop guidelines and improvementsuggestions of RiNOVA Traffic AB?s dynamic speed bump. The project started with athorough pre study of the design and its function to find out how passing vehiclesaffects the dynamic speed bump. The majority part of the pre study was to createnecessary mathematical models to explain the arisen forces and strains.The results of the mathematical models gave necessary information about the designregarding weaknesses and flaws. The most critical ones where those which interferedwith the design?s performance and reliability, and therefore needed to be corrected.These problems where more thorough analysed and discussed with experts before thefinal guidelines and improvement suggestions where developed.The parts of the design that had to be redesigned were the extension springs and thebearing that enables the dynamic properties.

A new shipyard on the island of Beckholmen consisting of a new ship hall and complementary workshops. The program is extended with rentable industrial space for other smaller companies to take advantage of synergies with the yard and to create an active maritime cluster around Beckholmen. By building a marina and a port at the northern shoreline of the island the shipyard can expand their potential customers to non-commercial and larger recreational boats that are becoming increasingly common in Skärgården. The port is also supplemented with a combined naval fuel station, harbor office and a small café. The boat traffic in the region gets a additional stop at the end of the port and act as an additional gateway to Djurgården. Several small retail spaces with direct access to the water is created along the promenade between the port and Djurgården. The shipyard gets a modern and efficient industry building, while the island is made available to the public again, and Beckholmen will hopefully take an equal place in the city's consciousness as it does visually in the inlet to Stockholm..

Masteruppsats är ett resultat av det utvecklingsprojekt jag bedrev under 2009-2014 inom ramen för förarutbildningen som bedrivs på gymnasieskolans och vuxenutbildningens inriktning Transport. Arbetet ska ses i ljuset av den magisteruppsats jag skrev 2013, Förarutbildning och kunskapsbildning ? en studie om förarutbildningssystemet.Utvecklingsprojektets syfte var att undersöka om det var möjligt att nå djupare och mer varaktig kunskap, främst när det gäller de "mjukare" målen inom förarutbildningen: riskmedvetenhet, uppmärksamhet, nyfikenhet, erfarenhet och ödmjukhet. Alltså de kunskapsfält som inryms inom körkortsmålen tre och fyra: resande med bil i speciella sammanhang och personliga förutsättningar och målsättningar i livet.Uppsatsen beskriver mina tankar, försök och trevanden för att skapa djupare och mer varaktig kunskap hos eleverna än vad jag upplevde att den traditionella förarutbildningen gav. Utvecklingsprojektets exempel visar att det är möjligt och att framgången ligger i ett stort fokus på de "mjukare" kunskaperna - de generella kompetenserna - som ödmjukhet, reflektion, nyfikenhet, självverksamhet, m.fl.

The situation at Plastal AB is following; the plant in Simrishamn has not capacity enough but the plant in Kristinehamn has unused capacity. My task with this master thesis is to build a logistic flow between this two plants, optimize purchase quantities and ensure delivery safety.The production of the Intermediate Section (LS) will be divided between the plants. The LS will be produced in the following way; the injection moulding process will be done in Simrishamn and the assembling and lacquering processes in Kristinehamn, The reason to divide the production is to ensure delivery safety. Plastal AB can not move the whole production of the l.S because the two plants have different processes (moulding res. injection moulding).When the 1.5 has been transported to Kristinehamn following moments are included in this order; lacquering, welding and assembling.
