Since Sweden became a member of the European Union (EU) several constitutional reforms has been taking place. During this time, Sweden has also changed its view on democracy,from a collective to an individual perspective of democracy in the politics. A reasonable hypothesis and the purpose of this essay is to investigate if the Swedish government has beendeveloped towards an Europeanization.The Swedish state audit changed in a pioneering way after the EU- entry, with the formation of Riksrevisionen. Another constitutional change is that the Swedish EU- membership is being instituted in the Swedish constitution. The role of Swedish courts has also changed since the EU- entry.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur arbetet för ett jämställd idrottande i Sverige ser ut och undersökningens fokus ligger på staten och de tre kommunerna Karlskrona, Kristianstad och Växjö. Resultatet av uppsatsens undersökning är att killarna får större del när det gäller de idrottspolitiska satsningarna. Även fast staten i huvudmålen för idrottspolitiken belyser kvinnor och mäns lika värde satsas det mest på de traditionella manliga idrotterna vilket syns tydligt på bland annat de kommunalägda idrottsanläggningarna samt på det faktum att kvinnorna inom idrottsrörelsen har mindre inflytande än män. Jämställdhetsarbetet ser olika ut i de tre kommunerna. Bäst arbetar Växjö och därefter kommer Karlskrona.

In search of a stage language that resonates in historical disciplines, I have explored the possibility to expand my performing arts through the language of Indian classical Odissi, through different forms of storytelling. In my work I have focused primarily on two projects inspired by the original scripts of Macbeth by William Shakespeare and Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan. I have outlined examples of methods and techniques used in the process.The work also shows how Odissi has evolved from a religious and philosophical tradition of temple dance; into modern stage theatre performance.The work aims to connect Odissi with western performing art. In this process I have been using my own knowledge about Odissi as a tool in combining both the traditions, a fusion in action.I will physically examine the artistic idiom, the characteristics, the actions and deeds found in stylized Odissi imagery and symbols, traditionally used to embody mythological and epic stories. A rendezvous between East and West.

AbstractA tourism genre that has developed in recent years is the nautical tourism, nautical tourism is described as a tourism genre that includes all activities in relation to water. Croatia is one country that has invested in and has good presumption for this type of tourism, and has also received an international recognition as a top destination within the nautical tourism genre. The purpose with this thesis is to increase knowledge about the nautical tourism development in Croatia, and to see if it would be possible to develop on Swedish conditions. Sweden is a destination with a large number of archipelagos, located in both inland lakes and along coastal areas. Stockholm archipelago is one of the world's largest archipelagos which has a long tradition as a tourist destination.

Projektet utforskar knuttimringstraditionen i Dalarna, både som konstruktionsprincip och estetiskt uttryck. Teknikens historik och uppkomst analyseras, samt kringliggande fenomen så som fyrkantsgården, fäbodkulturen och månghussystemet. Olika tidstypiska konstruktionsmässiga detaljerna presenteras ? knuttimringen med dess olika knuttyper, ved- och faltak och den vanligaste typen av grundläggning; knutstenar. Den samtida bebebyggelsen analyseras för att se hur den förvaltar traditionen idag ? vad har bestått och vad har tillkommit? Planbestämmelser för ett område i Lerdal, Rättvik, visualiseras och diskuteras ? lyckas man genom dessa bevara det ursprungliga uttrycket, eller är det någonting annat som utgör kärnan i traditionen? Ett förslag på ett sommarhus i området presenteras, som på ett alternativt sätt kombinerar traditionen med dagens teknik och möjligheter.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att nå ökad kunskap om organisationen på 6/7-9skolor och om hur rektorer på 6/7-9skolor på ett strategiskt sätt använder organisationen för att förverkliga läroplanens skrivning om vad lärare ska göra vad det gäller kunskap och om organisationen ligger i linje med rektorns visioner.Teori: Ansatsen i studien utgår från en konstruktivistisk kunskapssyn, vilket innebär att i forskningsintervjuer konstrueras kunskap om verkligheten. Verkligheten är inte objektivt beskrivbar utan beror på vilket perspektiv man ser genom. I den här studien har rektorernas perspektiv på organisationen analyserats. Jag har även utgått från att rektorerna handlar rationellt i förhållande till mål och värderingar utifrån sin kunskap, erfarenhet och skolans värdegrund. Den teoretiska bakgrunden utgörs till största delen av teorier kring rektorsrollen, lärande organisation och organisationsperspektiv.Metod: Kvalitativ intervju har använts vid intervjuer av sex rektorer.

The aim of this study was to examine the discourse of asylum seekers in Sweden from January 2009 to December 2013 in the newspapers Helsingborgs Dagblad and Dagens Nyheter. By using discourse analysis as a theory and method, combined with the theory of orientalism, I have analysed and compared news articles from these two newspapers. The findings of the study shows that asylum seekers are often portrayed as a group rather than individuals. Included in the group identity are several subgroups, for example asylum seekers are portrayed as victims, as a cost to society and as a highly suspect group that cannot be controlled. Furthermore, asylum seekers are depicted as ?the other? in contrast to the Swedish ?we?, where differences in culture and tradition are frequently mentioned.

Syftet med denna studie var att få en ökad förståelse för hur pedagoger i förskoleklassen uppfattar sitt uppdrag samt om det är förskolans eller skolans tradition som påverkar arbetet i förskoleklassen. Forskningsfrågorna handlade om syftet med förskoleklassen och på vilket sätt lärarna arbetar för att uppnå detta. Eftersom förskoleklassen är en syntes av förskolan och skolan har vi fördjupat oss i deras traditioner och därefter gjort kvalitativa intervjuer med fem pedagoger i förskoleklassen. Resultatet visade att det finns två olika syften med förskoleklassen. Flertalet av pedagogerna ser på förskoleklassen som skolförberedande men en uttryckte också ett syfte som mer relaterar till att barnen ska få lära för sin egen skull, här och nu.

The use of earth bricks in Scanian building traditionThe present work is concerned with the manufacturing and use of earth bricks inbuilt heritage in the south Swedish province of Scania. The first part of the studyprovides a thorough description of the traditional use and manufacturing of earthbricks based on relevant literature, archive material as well as interviews withinformants. This forms a basis for the second part of the study in which practicalexperiments on and tests with earth bricks where carried out. This involved themaking of traditional earth bricks of different composition. The new handmadebricks were compared with industrially produced bricks (extrusion bricks) and oldhandmade bricks.

Bakgrund: Kirurgiska ingrepp ?r vanligt f?rekommande i v?r samtid och sp?s fortsatt ?ka i antal. Komplikationsrisken ?r mellan 6% och 44% med flera olika riskfaktorer som p?verkar. Postoperativ mobilisering kan minska risken f?r flertalet komplikationer och lindra flera postoperativa symtom.

This thesis examines the experience value of the wolf and wolf hunting presented in mediaduring December 17, 2009-Feruary 15, 2010. I analyze news articles, editorials and letters tothe editor in three newspapers. In order to investigate the experience value of the wolf and thewolf hunt, I have with inspiration from a model employed in the assessment of experiencevalue of tangible cultural heritage, developed a model which I use to analyze the mediamaterial according to the criteria of aesthetic value, identity value, value of tradition andsymbolic value. In order to analyze the results of the analyze, I employ experimental andsociocultural theory and method, which means that I assume the experiences of the wolf andthe wolf hunt as related to a social and cultural perspective that partly depends on how weidentify ourselves and what kind of experiences and understandings we have of the landscapeand large carnivores. Since media affects how we perceive our surroundings and the wolfhunting attracted much attention in media, I found it interesting to examine how the wolf andthe wolf hunt were displayed in news articles and letters to the editor.

Under de senaste årtiondena har det kommit att riktas kritik mot de sätt som museer ställer utoch arbeta med föremål. Ofta har kritiken riktats mot hur museer gett uttryck för etnocentrismoch nationalism men också mot att museer har ett maskulint och evolutionsinriktat framställningssätt.I den nya museiologin som växt fram vill man istället belysa hur den kunskap sommuseet skapar är kontextuell och situerad i sin samtid. Många museer har kommit att arbetamed besökaren och betraktaren på nya sätt och bjuder in denne till utforskande och deltagande.Med den nya museiologin som bakgrund vill denna studie undersöka hur Nationalmuseum iStockholm har valt att utforma sin pedagogiska verksamhet. I uppsatsen undersöks museetsverksamhet som riktar sig till grundskolan åk 4-9 samt gymnasiet. Eftersom museet framföralltställer ut och arbetar med äldre konst tänker jag mig att detta också innebär att det finnstraditioner av hur sådan konst visas upp och lärs ut, men att verksamheten också måste förhållasig till den kritik som den nya museiologin innebär.

The local wind band in Lilla Edet, Lilla Edets Musikförening, springs from work and activities in the late 19:th century. Since then, the band has developed from a brass sextet to mixed wind band. It has been an appreciated contribution to the society on festive occasions. Yet, it seems like the band more and more has lost it´s useful purpose. Also, the recruiting of new members has ceased, as the music school has trouble with attracting pupils to learn to play wind instruments.The reasons for this reduced interest are more then one.

This report will focus on the folkhigh-school in its general form and the role of the libraries on these types of schools in particular. A library on folkhighschools have a tendency to be forgotten and ends up being somewhere in the middle of the libraryworld and the general educational organisations. The purpose of this essay is to examine and provide general views on the different roles that a library on a folkhighschool can have, as well as looking into the unique aspects of the type of school that a folkhighschool is in terms of influencing the libraries placed there. The methodology used in this study is qualitative. Interviews have been held on three different folkhighschools in south of Sweden.

Under det senaste året har det friskt debatterats om svensk folklig kultur och inte minst folkmusikens traditioner; debatten initierades vid manifestationer, som väcktes under hösten 2010, mot presentationen av Sverigedemokraternas främlingsfientliga åsikter rörande den svenska kulturen.Uppsatsen redovisar hur debatten mellan folkmusiken och Sverigedemokraterna förts i media och vad SD:s vilja att värna folkkulturen skulle tänkas leda till. I texten tas det upp olika exempel som i sig ställer frågor om vad ?svenskhet? innebär och om traditioner skall konserveras eller kunna förändras. Utifrån artiklar och uttalanden i olika medier redovisas de åsikter som yttrats, främst koncentrerat på fyra folkmusikmagasin: Folkmusik & Dans, Hembygden, Lira Musikmagasin och Spelmannen.Studien visar att begrepp, som exempelvis ?folksjäl? och ?tradition?, har med tiden bytt innebörd.
