The aim of this investigation was to assess if there was a correlation between Touch avoidance and hierarchical position, perceived degradation, number of years spent in jail and age amongst men at a correctional institution. In addition, a possible correlation between hierarchical position and the amount of perceived degrading treatment was also explored. In the collection of the data a questionnaire containing 27 open and closed answer alternatives was utilized. A multiple regressional analysis was conducted to find possible correlations between Touch avoidance and the other underlying variables. Also an independent t-test explored the possible effects of the control variables: place of birth and girlfriend.

Interaktionen med de flesta applikationer blir, på grund av detta, sekventiell vilket kan vara en begränsning eftersom människan är van att utforska problem simultant med båda händerna. Flerpunktspekskärmar är en relativt ny teknik som möjliggör nya interaktionsmöjligheter där flera pekpunkter kan vara aktiva simultant. Det här examensarbetet fokuserar på problemen kring att skapa en applikation med användargränssnitt för flerpunktspekskärmar. Applikationen som utvecklats har en grundstruktur vilken är möjlig att vidareutveckla och på så sätt anpassas för att passa nya behov, till skillnad från de implementationer som granskats vid förstudien vilka fokuserar på att lösa specifika problem.

Touch-baserad teknik har sedan 2007 tagit allt större utrymme bland tekniska artifakter och många kända namn inom teknikbranschen har klivit fram och konstaterat i mer eller mindre dramatiska ord att det vi känner som "PC", persondator, är på väg att förändras i och med detta teknikskifte. Vissa organisationer, däribland kommuner och landsting, har börjat använda pekplattor som dokumentersättare för bl.a. mötesprotokoll. SAS (Scaninavian Airlines) använder tekniken i cockpit i liknande ändamål. Det förväntas inte dröja särskilt länge innan vinstdrivande organisationer lyfter gränssnittet till sina interna stödsystem.

First-year students at Linköping University have developed a prototype that graphically visualizes a medical record in a new way. The customer of that project was the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Linköping University. They now want a usability evaluation to be performed of the prototype. The prototype is to be used by employees in the public health care and is supposed to be used on a small portable unit with a multi-Touch interface. For this reason the prototype will be used as a complement to existing systems when the users work near the patients.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att utreda och diskutera vad i händelsekedjan vid orgelspel som påverkar Touchen i klaviaturer kopplade till digitala respektive akustiska instrument och att jämföra skillnaden för det musikaliska uttrycket. Frågeställningar jag utgick ifrån var: ?Vad i händelsekedjan, från tangent till klingande ljud, är av betydelse för en bra Touch?? samt ?Vilken betydelse har klaviaturen för de musikaliska uttrycksmöjligheterna??För att utreda ovanstående har jag mätt upp spel- och bottenvikter hos olika klaviaturer. Som konstnärlig del valde jag att spela in ett stycke av Klaus Huber till grund för de resonemang jag fört kring olika delar av klaviaturer och dess påverkan på det musikaliska uttrycket. I resultatdiskussionen konstaterade jag att mekaniska klaviaturer upplevs mer levande just på grund av sin ojämnhet.

Syfte: Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att beskriva vilka faktorer som kan påverka patientens delaktighet i sin omvårdnad ur ett patientperspektiv. Syftet var även att beskriva de valda artiklarnas urvalsmetod. Metod: Litteraturstudien har en deskriptiv design. Elva artiklar användes varav nio artiklar med kvalitativ ansats, en artikel med kvantitativ ansats och en artikel med både kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats.Resultat: Resultatet visade att det finns flera faktorer som påverkar patientens möjlighet till delaktighet i sin omvårdnad. Faktorer så som information, patientens delaktighet vid beslutsfattande samt bemötande påverkar patientens möjlighet till delaktighet i omvårdnaden.  Slutsats: Information var viktig för patientdelaktighet i sin omvårdnad.

I dagens företag och organisationer med flera tusen datoranvändare ställs stora krav på IT-avdelningarna som administrerar detta. Spintop har med hjälp av Microsoft Zero Touch Provisioning utvecklat en portal där vanliga processer har automatiserats och administrationen av konton sker på ett standardiserat sätt. Denna lösning är inte ekonomiskt lönsam för företag med en mindre organisation, syftet med rapporten är att visa ett alternativ till denna lösning som är ekonomiskt försvarbar för företag med färre än 1000 anställda. Rapporten visar att det med hjälp av .NET-framework går att bygga en portal som erbjuder samma grad av säkerhet, funktion och användarvänlighet som Zero Touch Provisioning till en avsevärt mindre kostnad..

Universal Design is a well established methodology with the fundamental purpose of designing products to be usable for as wide audience as possible, without the need of special adjustment to suit the individual. In this essay, Universal Design has had a clear influence in both the process and the result. The choice to use Universal Design as methodology in this usability evaluation, has essentiallv to do with the target audience.As a part of the design process of MyTobii C8 has Tobii Technology ask for a usability evaluation. MyTobii C8 is an 8" Touch screen computer with a windows based operating system which will initiate the software MyTobii C-Series Control. MyTobii C-Series Control is the control panel for MyTobii C8, whose interfaces constitute the platform for various modificarion of the unit.

This paper explores the field of virtual reality and how immersion and presences can be increased when it comes to navigation and interaction with Virtual Environments. The availability of VR technology has sparked a trend, especially in game development. Old ways of designing for interactive environments have to be revised. This is done by exploring the massive body of work done on VR, exploring its underlying concepts, using tested design techniques and ways of evaluating interaction for VR. A design suggestion in the form of utilizing a tablet device as the main input device is derived.

Today, pigs are moved on farm, between farms, between countries and to abattoirs. This movement of live pigs requires handling practices that are designed for the purpose. The objective of this study was to research the use of paddle in moving pigs, to investigate if there were different methods of paddle practice, explore the time efficiency of different kinds of paddle use and if there were any time variations in methods that varied in intensity of Touch. This study was done on two Swedish abattoirs for a total of five weeks. A total of 22 transporters working at two different abattoirs where studied during unloading of pigs at the abattoirs.
