Ryggbesvär är en betydande anledning till sjukskrivning. Besvären kan vara lokaliserade till olika nivåer i ryggraden: halsrygg, bröstrygg, korsrygg eller ländrygg. Syftet med studien var att undersöka fördelningen av ryggbesvär, lokaliserade till olika ryggradsnivåer, i en patientgrupp vid en vårdcentral. Studien avsåg även att belysa hur stor andel av patienterna som sjukskrivits på grund av besvär på respektive ryggradsnivå samt huruvida ryggbesvären kunde antas ha samband med arbetsbelastning.Studien är genomförd vid Vårdcentralen i Kramfors. Undersökningsgruppen bestod av de patienter vilka erhållit en diagnos på ryggbesvär under tremånadersperioden december 2002 ? februari 2003 och som var i åldersintervallet 18-65 år.

I denna uppsats har vi under hösten 2013 undersökt hur sju stycken lärare i skolor som gett en dator till varje elev ser på sina nya pedagogiska verktyg och vilka utmaningar dessa lärare ställs inför. Vi har använt oss av en induktiv kvalitativ semistrukturerad intervju-metod till denna studie och vår studie innefattar skolor som har antagit någon form av 1 till 1 i sin verksamhet och ligger geografiskt förlagda till sydöstra Sverige.  Vår undersökning visar på en bild av hur attityderna kan se ut hos lärarna ute i skolorna kring urvalsprocessen, sociala medier, källkritik, läromedelskritik, fortbildning, tekniska problem, lärarnas arbetsbelastning samt digitala lär-resursers mervärden.  De digitala lär-resurser som informanterna till vår studie använder har till största del varit egenproducerat material och digitala läroböcker. När det gäller olika förutsättningar som ges informanterna till att utveckla sin egen kompetens inom IKT och utveckla bruket av IKT i skolan går det att se att detta skiljer sig mellan skolorna som våra informanter arbetar på. Vissa av våra informanter menar att den kompetensutveckling som erbjuds i form av utbildning för lärarna ligger på för låg nivå, medan andra lärare menar att den saknas helt.  De huvudsakliga fördelarna våra informanter har uppgett med IKT i skolan är att de kan individanpassa undervisningen bättre för elever som har olika typer av inlärningssvårigheter. Även fördelen att göra undervisningen mer levande och intressant är ett återkommande argument till detta.

Sustainability issues have become increasingly high-profile and important in recent decades. In addition, quality issues have come to play a central role in corporate marketing, strategy and management. The word quality can be defined differently in different contexts. This paper focuses on the concept of quality, based on the Total Quality Management perspective, which in Swedish has come to be known as Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling has been described as a theoretical framework in which an organization continually strives to meet and preferably exceed customer needs and expectations at the lowest cost through continuous improvement, and in which all members of the organization are committed and focused on the organisation's processes. The purpose of this study was twofold. First, to clarify the applicability of the theoretical model Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling as a theoretical explanatory model. Second, to explore how Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB performs according to the values in Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. A multiple case study was conducted in order to explore these topics. The results showed that Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB is working in a dedicated and value-driven manner, aligned with the values ??that form the basis for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. The results also showed that the model for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling could serve well as a theoretical explanatory model, but that the model would benefit from being developed, enriched or integrated with other models.

Automationscenter & Bråvalla Elteknik AB is a company that offers the market completed total solutions where the customer can operate and monitor their production from the terminal. In these total solutions they lack standard circuit which are developed by the company and which could manoeuvre/control/monitor controlled process objects. This report defines the work of developing the most common standard circuits.The report is initiated by a short theoretical part about PLC and the PLC system, with a connected terminal, which has been used. Thereafter, the turnout of the demands of specification is reported, after discussing with the supervisor in the course of the project. The report concludes with a disclosure of how the programming, the documentation and the testing have proceeded and a final discussion concerning the project and proposals on continuation.The result is a CD with the documentation of standard circuits and how they are implemented in a new project.

The aim of this report is to analyse the use of the capacity at the CNC (computer numerical control) cutters and show how the level of set up time for these cutters at Stålöv AB. This assignment is concrete whereas there are no subjective questions to this matter and there are only cold figures presented.Production economy is getting more important as the competition hardens and there are several different ways to increase productivity and efficiency in a company. In order to increase productivity and efficiency work studies are used to, through an analysis, find developments in methods that result in improved work methods and to establish the time that are used. Increased production of different parts and customer driven production in combination with increased demands on rationalisation of capital have led to an enlarged interest for shorter set up times in the production.To point out the use of capacity and the set up time of the cutters at Stålöv AB we used frequency studies. Frequency studies are work measure methods based on random observations on predetermined events to calculate the relative occurrence of these events.

Denna uppsats har som syfte att utreda hur användandet av talgränssnitt i personbilar påverkar köruppgiften. En empirisk studie i verklig miljö har utförts. Tidigare studier, i simulatormiljö, har visat attmed hjälp av röststyrning av bilens funktioner, såsom radio, kan föraren hålla båda händerna på ratten samt ha blicken riktad framåt mer än då funktionerna styrs manuellt med knappar och reglage. Detta leder till en säkrare bilkörning. Tal kräver en annan typ av mental resurs än vad både syn och manuella rörelser gör.

The background for my thesis is the fact that with rising electricity and oil prices it becomes interesting to calculate on alternative heating systems. I have chosen to calculate upon my parents? farm, which today heats the dwelling house with wood. This is very time-consuming work, time which could be spent on other work. The main objective for this study is to compare three different heating systems to decide how they differ considering effort and cost. The result from the calculations was that grain-heating system demanded the least amount of work, but the total cost was a little higher compared to chips heating. Chips heating required half as much work as today?s wood heating and had a little lower total costs compared with the corn heating. Which system to choose largely depends on how the own work is valued.

Studies indicate that between 6-9% of all children has some type of voice problems. Voice problems in children may have different etiology and can affect all ages. In Sweden, there is a lack of a standardized questionnaire addressed to children with voice problems and their legal guardians. The purpose of this study was to translate and validate the Pediatric Voice Handicap Index (pVHI) in Swedish children aged 6 to 10 years. The study was carried out through an internet-based assessment form for children referred to speech and language pathologist/ phoniatrican due to voice disorders in Sweden and a matched control group of children without voice problems.

Sjukgymnaster möter ofta patienter med ländryggssmärta. Omkring 80 % av befolkningen drabbas någon gång i livet, varav 30 % riskerar att utveckla långvariga ländryggsbesvär. Detta innebär personligt lidande och en omfattande kostnad för samhället. Flera olika sjukgymnastiska behandlingsmetoder används vid dessa tillstånd, men med varierande vetenskapligt stöd. De vetenskapliga bevisen ska kombineras med beprövad erfarenhet och patientens behov och önskemål för att det ska kallas evidensbaserad medicin, vilket är ett aktuellt ämne inom primärvården för att säkerställa kvalitet och konkurrenskraft.

This master thesis work was done at Saab Underwater Systems AB, a company at the cutting edge of underwater technology. Here torpedoes and other underwater vehicles are developed and manufactured. The major customers are navies of different countries, mostly the Swedish navy. The aim of this master thesis is to develop, construct and evaluate an automatic Trim System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.

Bakgrund: Stress påverkar hälsan negativt. Påfrestningar i arbetslivet leder till arbetsrelaterad stress. Sjuksköterskor har många faktorer i sitt arbete som leder till arbetsrelaterad stress. Detta leder inte endast till negativa konsekvenser för sjuksköterskan utan kan även påverka patienten negativt. Fysisk aktivitet har i tidigare studier visat sig kunna leda till minskad stress i det dagliga livet.

The purpose of this study is to overlook Nordic medias news coverage and framing of Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik. The study is based on printed editions of Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter and the Finnish newspaper Hufvudstadsbladet set on nine selected dates related to the issue between July 23th 2011 to August 25th 2012.   The study will display how Breivik was framed by each of the Nordic newspapers and even the total amount of news coverage the issue has been given. The media framing part of the study will mainly focus on the media framing of Breiviks personality and political ideology. The study will also investigate each newspapers handling of Breiviks manifesto, which he published only hours before killing 77 people on July 22th 2011. The study is a quantitative content analysis, containing a total number of 245 articles.

This study investigated the relation between Extraversion and Conscientiousness with job satisfaction and job selection in the two occupational groups of telemarketing and administration. The study also set out to explore the relation between social desirability as assessed with an Implicit Association Test (IAT) and total reaction time on the IAT. The questionnaire was administered over the Internet to forty-one subjects (24 women and 17 men) in the age range 16-65. Results indicated that people working with telemarketing tend to be extrovert while people working with administration often are conscientious. Job satisfaction correlated with Extraversion in the telemarketing group.

Quality Assurance in Service Procurement --- Total Quality and Total Quality Management refer to popular management philosophies in organizations these days. The purchasing department has an important part in the strive for organizational quality as several studies show corporate spend is significant and increasing. In this master thesis I study the actions companies take to ensure quality in service procurement. I argue that managing quality when sourcing services is particularly tricky, because of the special characteristics that belong to services. The purpose of the study is to examine whether different actions are taken to ensure the quality of different kinds of services.
