För att göra informationen tydligare för en larmoperatör som sitter och övervakar larm som kommer in från ett antal olika nätverkskomponenter så har vi skapat ett system som förser larmen med extra information, kallad Context Type, så att vi kan presentera larmen på ett enklare sätt. Vår informationsberikning, även kallad mappning, är utbyggbar för att möta kravet på framtida utveckling. En webbaserad klient skriven i JavaScript är skapad för att presentera larmen på ett nytt innovativt sätt som är baserad på context typen istället för larmobjektet. Mappningen är skapad med hjälp av Python kod och begränsas av att endast använda textfiler som datakälla och webbapplikationen är endast utvecklad för webbläsaren FireFox samt att visningsintervallet för larmen är begränsat till ett dygn med entimmesintervaller. Mappningen var långsam då vi använde oss av regular expression.

This thesis have been performed at Sweco Position in Jönköping. The work was split into two, where one part included an investigation regarding the possibility of developing a cross-platform GIS (geographic information system) with HTML5 and CSS3. A prototype would also be developed within this part.The second part included development of a cross-platform GIS for a client to Sweco Position. The client operates in the forest sector and had already an existing solution, with many problems. The client required an application with delimited functionality and which was not bound to a specific hardware.As the client users often were located in areas with limited Internet access, one additional requirement was that there would be some offline support.The students handle subjects within development of GIS, for example map projections, map services and mapping libraries.The application came to be developed in HTML5 and ASP.net.

How can you do a right measurement of culture as well as with other social sectors and with what can culture contribute when it comes to a town´s development? We found out that in Linköping the regional federation Ostsam recently (2005) started mapping the region's creative centers in order to look into the spreading of the culture in the county, and then use the uniqueness of the culture as an advantage in society- planning contexts. The reason was that both municipal - and State directions detected that the culture has a broader importance when it comes to building up society and infrastructure than earlier considered. This is called Cultural planning and is the foundation- method that Östsam used when working with their new projekt The creative sector. The outcome of the Östsam study resulted in an exciting study basis to work further on with and to examine through own demarcations and directions.This research manages the matter of the creative sector as an extension to the cultural sector.

This master thesis includes a description of how a number of sensors are put together in a sensor platform. It also gives a description of how localization and mapping has been performed with data collected from the sensor platform. Localization is a prerequisite for most of the tasks that can be requested from an autonomous mobile robot. In many situations the GPS signal is not available and hence an additional localization system is required. One approach is to apply localization based on landmarks extracted from the robots surrounding.

The Smart Grids development is driven by forces concerning safe electrictransmission done in an energy efficient way. Vattenfall Eldistribution AB has a visionto transform their electricity network into Smart Grids. To invest in Smart Grids theyhave a need to show their customers what advantages they will get from thedevelopment. This led to the formulation of this dissertation project where the aim isto identify products and services related to Smart Grids that will increase thecustomer satisfaction for Vattenfall Eldistributions private customers.The project started with a mapping of existing products and services on the Swedishelectricity market. From the mapping several development possibilities for VattenfallEldistribution were identified.

Vad som dock är ett problemområde är att se över fabriken ur ett helhetsperspektiv, närfabriken är uppdelad i många avdelningar. Lösningen till detta problem är att via olika metoder ellerverktyg kunna fastställa svaren på problemen.Denna examensrapport redogör för hur metoder inom Lean produktion kan vara lösningen förproblemområdet. Forskningen är huvudsakligen byggd på en bred värdeflödesanalys som syftar till attfånga in ett företags alla aspekter ur ett helhetsperspektiv, med syftet att minska risker försuboptimering och istället optimera produktionen som helhet.För att se gränssnitt mellan informationsflödet har i denna forskning metoden swimlane utgjort enkartläggning över ett företags hela kontorsavdelning, planerings och inköps avdelningar.Resultatet av denna forskning visar att värdeflödesanals är en bra metod för att kunna identifieraslöserier, ojämnheter i produktion, brister vid tillverkningen och flaskhalsar. The tool is used, however, only frequent on the factory floor and the method is also designed based on this type of use.An interest of applying the method on administrative parts of the company has occurred lately. Administrative parts of the company refers to the part that does all the planning such as purchasing, receiving orders, customer contact, contact with factory floor and other work that is made around the actual manufacturing. But the knowledge about applying value stream mapping on the planning part of the company is lacking because the method is relatively new.In this work, a comparison is made between the introduction of value stream analysis on production and planning.

In a time when milk producing farm businesses face decline in profitability it is of great importance to examine how the situation can be improved. This thesis is a study off efficiency in milk producing farm businesses represented by Swedish, Dutch and German farms. The aim of this study is to investigate whether any differences exist between companies in these countries. Moreover, the study includes a mapping of a number of factors that determine how efficient milk production can be managed. This mapping is based on a literature review on prior efficiency studies followed by qualitative interviews with milk production advisors as well as a questionnaire sent out to dairy farmers in Sweden.

The aim of this thesis is to model my artistic practice on an adaptation of Joseph Campbells monomyth and, using this model, investigate challenges of performativity in art (in public spaces). The overall themes are personal, aesthetic and ethical sovereignty and an uncompromising search for a deepening of the artistic practice. More than anything else it is a map and a story of an artist?s expansion out into an artistic field that is little developed in Sweden. It is my hope that this thesis, by using a thoroughly subjective tone, will contribute to the milieu of performative arts in Sweden as well as widen the ?how? regarding the making of a written thesis..

AB Sandvik Cormorant?s production unit in Gimo has identified a need to examinethe handling of products between operations with the purpose of generatingproposals of improvement for the product handling.The aim of this project is to study the existing manufacturing process and givesuggestions for improvement. The proposals should reduce the manual handling ofproducts, decrease the risk of damaging the products during the manufacturing andform a basis for increased traceability. Based on a mapping of the manufacturingprocess and the problem description, a specification of requirements has beencomposed.The mapping of the manufacturing process suggests that a change of the currentsystem is required. The company is recommended to decide how the producthandling between operations should be performed as guidelines for the productionteam.

I denna uppsats beskrivs och implementeras tre alternativa metoder för att skatta kovariansen mellan finansiella tillgångar. De utvärderas sinsemellan och jämförs med stickprovskovariansen. Utvärderingsmodellen innebär simulering av en aktiv portföljförvaltare i en verklighetstrogen miljö. Då kovariansen mellan finansiella tillgångar beräknas med stickprovsskattning blir skattningsfelet stort. Detta fel, eller brus, försämrar portföljförvaltares resultat och alternativa metoder eftersöks.

This report is the result of a thesis carried out during the spring of 2010 at Sandvik Coromant in Gimo. The purpose of this thesis has been to make an inventory and mapping of information used by flow groups that are most relevant for the day-to-day work. This mapping will then form the basis for information supplied by an automated system.The project consisted of:Identifying how the information is supplied today.Inquiring into the needs of an automated system.Which needs of information that will be provided by the system.Data collection occurred in two ways, both through observations and interviews. Observations of the participants were carried out early in the thesis, where the aim was to create a picture of the problem, and gradually develop a basis for the actual interview study. At each observation, an unstructured observation was used, which means that all activity was recorded.

AbstraktEn avgörande faktor för att kunna förebygga, avhjälpa eller lindra matematiksvårigheter är ifall pedagoger har kompetens att genomföra en kartläggning, som ger vägledning för fortsatta pedagogiska insatser (Lundberg & Sterner, 2009). Med detta som utgångspunkt var syftet med studien att undersöka yrkesverksamma specialpedagogers syn på kartläggning och yngre elevers räknesvårigheter samt hur de går till väga vid en pedagogisk kartläggning i matematik. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats med semistrukturerad intervju som metod. Deltagarna i undersökningen är två specialpedagoger med gedigen utbildning och erfarenhet inom området. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att informanterna har en formativ syn på kartläggning.
