Why is the e-revolution of the Swedish film distribution lingering? In attempting to answer that question, this qualitative study depicts the distribution market of Swedish film and its actors. Thirteen interviews with representatives of the industry have been conducted in search of an understanding of the current situation. Two important conclusions are made. One is that the strong interdependency between the actors of film distribution is inhibiting the acting space of those who seek change.

Looking into her way of using the camera by applying the theory of haptic visuality allows the spectator to identify themselves in a bodily relationship with the image. This report consists of a discussion about suitable methods for studying complex sociotechnical systems that are still being developed. There are large economical advantages with studying new systems before they are completely developed since problems can be discovered early and thereby avoided. It is, however, difficult to study developing systems, there are methodological limitations. These limitations are discussed and recommendations for studying non-existing complex sociotechnical systems are presented.The report is based on experiences from a study of the introduction of a shipboard helicopter on the corvettes that the Swedish Armed Forces are developing. A shipboard helicopter implies high requirements on the hosting ship.

Samtliga av Norrbottens vårdcentraler har länge haft problem i form av underbemanning av läkare. Landstinget har mött det problemet genom att använda sig av bemanningsföretagsanställda stafettläkare. Vårdcentralernas beroende av stafettläkare skildrades i denna studie ur arbetsgruppens perspektiv. Inom socialpsykologin finns ett flertal modeller för hur bland annat arbetsgrupper fungerar, utvecklas och påverkas. Faktorer som kontinuitet, målinriktning och ledarskap är alla begrepp som kan sägas påverka grupperna.

On board ships different type of maintenance activities take place. Some of those require working with vibrating handheld tools. Traditionally there is a high awareness of the risks with different type of duties such as protecting the skin from oil or other chemicals, the eyes from splashes and hearing from high noise levels. The experience we have from our time as on-board cadets are that there is less information about vibration hazards available compared to the information concerning other hazards on board.There are threshold values that workers, by law, are not allowed to exceed when working with handheld vibrating tools. The purpose of this study is to investigate how common the use of this type of equipment that can cause damage by vibrations, to the hands and arm amongst the deck crew, and if the crew informed about the risks involved.

Denna rapport innehåller en redogörelse för mitt examensarbete, Charlie åkerkarusell, som gjordes vid Carl Malmsten ? Furniture Studies, LinköpingsUniversitet, våren 2012. I mitt arbete undersöker jag hur man kan serietillverkaen liten produkt med hjälp av mallar och fixturer anpassade för film och hur mandokumenterar processen med hjälp av film. Jag har tittat på olika filmer som rörämnet och olika typer av mallar för att sedan formge en liten figur vid namnCharlie, som serietillverkades i en serie av 30 stycken. Jag utförde några avmomenten i serietillverkningen med hjälp av en typ mall som jag konstruerade.Mallen, som jag valt att kalla för karusellmall, är inte den mest rationella men ärdäremot betydligt mer spännande och spektakulär än en traditionell mall.

Begreppet historiemedvetande har länge varit en del av ämnesplanen för historia, men inte förrän 2011 preciserades begreppet uttryckligen som centralt för undervisningen. Det är ett allomfattande och viktigt perspektiv för att eleverna ska kunna tolka sin omvärld, sin historia samt ålägga perspektiv på framtiden. Men det är samtidigt problematiskt eftersom det är motsägelsefullt och svårtolkat. Därför är syftet med utvecklingsarbetet att utforska olika arbetsmetoder för hur man kan utveckla elevers historiemedvetande och kunskaper genom att använda film som ett historiedidaktiskt verktyg. Att använda film med historiskt tema är inte heller utan problem, eftersom de aldrig kan återge de historiska händelserna exakt som det var.

The last ten years two major movies about journalists have been made in Sweden; Sprängaren and Män som hatar kvinnor. This study has looked closer at the heroine Annika Bengtsson and the hero Mikael Blomkvist from these two movies. Since movies do have great influence on how we see the world it is important to find out how these characters are being portrayed. Also, in a time when journalism is about to become a female dominant occupation it is relevant to see how the female journalist compares to the male. It is important to ensure that the films do not give a wrongful picture of male and female journalists.

 AbstractThe focus of this essay is the american director Wes Anderson and the use of colour in his films. I also put some focus on colour as a neglected element in film studies, and what has caused this neglect. In my own research, I have analysed three of Anderson's films: Bottle Rocket (1996), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) and The Darjeeling Limited (2007). To get a broad sense of a films use of colour, I have investigated the colour scheme, the colours of the costumes, as well as colour patterns. I have also interpreted the symbolism related to certain colours and then used the results of the analyses to answer the question; "how does Wes Anderson use colour, and in which film is this most apparent?" A very generalizing answer to this question, is that Anderson use colour as a means of signifying the characters' feelings and ambitions, and also their relations to the themes of the films.

Det undermedvetna är ett enormt ämne med många teorier. Bland dessa finns det olika uppfattningar om hur vi ska tolka dess betydelse. Uppsatsen belyser hur vi kan se på det undermedvetna. Hur vi kan laborera med det undermedvetna i film? Vad har det för syfte att i film använda det undermedvetna och upphäva de normala livsmönster som gäller? Syftet med min undersökning var att studera hur gymnasieelever upplever att tala engelska, både ur allmän karaktär samt att undersöka hur de upplever att tala om detta sker med utgångspunkt i en film. Undersökningen genomfördes under två olika tillfällen med två olika gymnasieklasser: vårterminen 2004 och höstterminen 2004. Min undersökning visade att flertalet elever känner osäkerhet och bristande självtillit inför att tala engelska. Att använda film som motiverande faktor visade sig fungera väl, och utgjorde dessutom ett hjälpmedel till att kunna placera engelska termer i sitt rätta sammanhang. Dock visade resultatet att filmen i sig kan ersättas av andra läromedel.
