The purpose of this study was to examine young persons' experiences of life with ADHD. Semi structured interviews were done with four boys age 14-18 years, diagnosed with ADHD. The interviews followed a guide that consisted of themes with questions. The themes examined were: diagnosis, school, home, social and personal issues and how these themes are connected to ADHD. The results indicate that it is hard to live with ADHD.

Results have shown that flow batteries may be a solution in the future as an effective and environmental friendly method to an energy storage system (ESS). The technology is reliable and has a high efficiency that comes with low energy losses and a long lifetime. The range of possible fields is suitable for cutting energy peaks in the power grid, by always have a ready and available energy storage that balances the production. By comparing the advantages of flow batteries with conventional batteries it is mainly the fact that they can conserve energy for a long time without being self-discharged thanks to that the storage capacity is in principle endless and limited by the size of the electrolytes tanks that makes them a great energy storage system. The batteries won?t take any damage or decrease in performance when charging or discharging it or if you exhausts it to 100 % and leave it discharged for a long time.

In an organizational change process, motivated employees are considered an asset. Work motivation can both be seen as situational and as a stable individual characteristic. The present study attempts to investigate how the employees at the Social Insurance Office in Scania experience the present organizational change by focusing on work motivation and well-being. Both questionnaires and interviews were adopted to examine the area of interest. Findings indicate that the organizational change is considered chaotic but necessary by the employees.

Traditionellt har det antagits att anvÀndning och förstÄelse av spatiala prepositioner i första hand sker utifrÄn geometriska kriterier. Senare studier har visat att prepositioner ocksÄ pÄverkas dels av huruvida de spatialt relaterade objekten ocksÄ Àr funktionellt relaterade eller inte och dels av den visuella miljö som objekten utgör en del av. Dessa faktorer pÄverkar valet av perspektiv utifrÄn vilket prepositioner tillskrivs spatiala relationer, samt anvÀndning och förstÄelse av dem i situationer dÄ de enbart kan tillskrivas utifrÄn ett perspektiv. Detta arbete undersöker experimentellt hur dessa tvÄ faktorer pÄverkar anvÀndning och perspektivtagande vid anvÀndning av de projektiva prepositionerna ovanför, nedanför, framför, bakom och bredvid. Resultaten visar att en funktionell relation mellan de spatialt relaterade föremÄlen och tillgÄngen till en visuell miljö ökar benÀgenheten att anvÀnda prepositionerna utifrÄn ett perspektiv som utgÄr frÄn föremÄlens egna orienteringar.

This study examines the experiences and perspectives of after-school program teachers through a qualitative research approach. The purpose is to deepen the understanding of their experiences within the after-school setting and how these insights might contribute to the development of this environment. Semi-structured and narrative interviews were used for data collection, allowing a flexible and open conversational format where participants could express both concrete opinions and implicit thoughts. Following Ahrne and Svensson's (2022) argument, which emphasizes the importance of qualitative interviews in capturing experiences of individuals active within specific social settings, this method is considered well-suited for the study?s purpose. The narrative interviews provided the interviewees with the freedom to describe their own experiences in detail, while the semi-structured interviews ensured a foundational structure and opportunities for follow-up questions.

I denna rapport behandlas en strategi för systemutveckling som kallas för evolutionÀr prototyping. EvolutionÀr prototyping innebÀr att utveckla system i inkrementella bitar dÀr system fÄr vÀxa till ett driftsystem för vidare evolution. Det finns ocksÄ andra former av prototyping som explorativ, experimentell och kooperativ prototyping dÀr prototyperna kastas bort och ett nytt system konstrueras. MÄnga metodologier finns för att stödja processen att utveckla informationssystem. PÄ grund av tillgÄngen till CASE-verktyg och fjÀrde generationens utvecklingsverktyg har evolutionÀr prototyping blivit allt mer populÀrt i praktiken.

The aim of this study is to describe a group of youths in compulsory care at a SiS institution in the south of Sweden. The study focuses on intelligence (measured with WISC-III) and self-report, i. e. what the youths think of themselves (measured with Jag tycker jag Àr). Attempts were made to see if background factors (based on information from the standardized ADAD-interview) seem to be coherent with intelligence and/or self-report and if so, what those background factors are.

Ett psykologiskt kontrakt hos en nyanstÀlld börjar bildas i interaktionsprocessen vid den första anstÀllningsintervjun. Ibland tidigare, redan vid en perception av kommunikation frÄn företaget om hur detta Àr som arbetsgivare. Den subjektiva upplevelsen av löften mellan arbetsgivare och arbetstagare utgör det psykologiska kontraktet. IT-avdelningar vÀxer som en viktig funktion pÄ moderna företag och denna undersökning syftade till att genom intervjuer undersöka frÄgan om hur det psykologiska kontraktet bildas hos IT-anstÀllda. Fem nyanstÀllda pÄ ett reseföretag i Sverige intervjuades för studien.

This thesis approaches the problem of estimating the arm angles of an industrial robot with flexibilities in joints and links. Due to cost-cutting efforts in the industrial robots industry, weaker components and more cost-effective structures have been introduced which in turn has led to problems with flexibilities, nonlinearities and friction. In order to handle these challenging dynamic problems and achieve high accuracy this study introduces state observers to estimate the tool position.The observers use measurements of the motor angles and an accelerometer and the different evaluated observers are based on an Extended Kalman Filter and a deterministic variant. They have been evaluated in experiments on an industrial robot with two degrees of freedom. The experimental verification shows that the state estimates can be highly accurate for medium frequency motions, ranging from 3-30Hz.

This study views literary authors as brands and their books as products. The essay examines if different marketing activities will influence attitudes and intentions towards these brands, depending on how famous the author is and how much knowledge the consumer possess about the product category. The theory, which the hypotheses are based upon, mainly consists of research about culture, brands, attitudes and intentions. The study is quantitative and has an experimental design consisting of different written scenarios. These scenarios are based on background information about a fictive fiction author and type of marketing campaign.

Denna studie omfattar och undersöker de förhÄllande som existerar kring psykologi och ludologi med pÄ att förena sambanden mellan mÀnniskors behov och utmaningar i spel. Resultaten representeras via en grafisk illustration dÀr funna samband pÄvisas. Av det material som anvÀnts mest (som hÄllfast grund), inkluderas Manfred A. Max-Neef?s Human Scale Development och Ernest Adams Fundamentals of Game Design.

The present study examines the effect of a nine-hour Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) intervention for teachers who experience stress. Twenty-two teachers from four different counties in southern Sweden were randomly allocated to an ACT intervention (n=15) and a control group (n=7). The ACT condition received three three-hour sessions of ACT over a six-week period, and the control group received a three-hour stress lecture at one occasion. At a follow-up four-weeks after completed intervention, ACT participants showed significant in-group differences on stress, psychological flexibility, general health, and burnout. At a between group comparison, only psychological flexibility was significantly enhanced at the follow-up.

Syftet med denna examensuppsats var att fördjupa oss i de bibliska symbolerna och försöka Äterfinna dem i barnlitteratur. Vi bestÀmde oss för att utgÄ ifrÄn barnboken Bröderna LejonhjÀrta, av Astrid Lindgren. Det vi ville undersöka i texten var, förutom de bibliska symbolerna, om vi kunde finna tecken pÄ en viss struktur och vissa skrivramar. Om sÄ var fallet, hÀrstammade de frÄn Bibeln? Vi har arbetat med textanalys som metod för att fÄ fram det vi sökte, men Àven tagit hjÀlp av tidigare forskning.

I denna uppsats undersöks hur psykologens yrkesroll formas och utformas pÄ vÄrdcentral. Det empiriska materialet utgörs av semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem psykologer pÄ vÄrdcentral, deras verksamhetschefer samt en yrkesutvecklingskoordinator för psykologer inom primÀrvÄrden. Med utgÄngspunkt i grounded theory har resultatet analyserats i termer av primÀrvÄrdspsykologi, professionell identitet och professionssociologi. Resultatet lyfter fram psykologernas bild av sin yrkesroll, deras upplevelse av relationer till andra i organisationen och till grÀnsfrÄgor. Slutsatsen Àr att psykologens yrkesroll pÄ vÄrdcentralen befinner sig i jurisdiktionens grÀnsomrÄde och innebÀr ett aktivt identitetsarbete, en komplex och dynamisk process i spÀnningsfÀltet mellan professionella identitetsideal och organisatorisk reglering..

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats var att uppmÀrksamma och beskriva den relation som finns mellan aktiva hundÀgare och deras hundar. Fokus för undersökningen var den aktiva hundÀgarens relation till sin hund utifrÄn hundÀgarens behovstillfredsstÀllelse. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med tio kvinnliga hundÀgare som Àr aktiva med sina hundar inom Svenska Brukshundklubben. Resultaten visar att det hos de undersökta hundÀgarna finns ett antal olika psykologiska behov som blir tillfredsstÀllda genom deras hundÀgande. En del behov tillfredsstÀlls genom den relation de har till sin hund.
