This master thesis investigates the possibilities of using GPS-information from trains to create a model of a railway system, register the routes of the the trains and predict how the trains will travel in the railway system.The thesis work was done at Icomera AB which is a company that specializes in internet connected vehicle solutions.We describe how the GPS-information is sent from the trains in the form of samples and investigate limitations and possibilities with the available information. About three million samples from 83 SJ-trains were analysed and the samples were filtered with the intent of removing erroneous information. We here found that about 30 % of the samples from the trains were unreliable.A solution for how the samples from the trains can be used to create a model of the railway system traveled by the trains is presented. We use a large set of historical samples and use cluster nodes and Hermite curves to generate a graph that represent the railway system with stations, nodes and the railway itself. A fully automatic solution is not presented since it did not fit into the time frame of the thesis; instead we created a simple tool which can be used to manually finish the model of the railway system.Furthermore, we describe how the railway system and the samples from the train can be used to register the routes the trains travel.

Syfte: Studiens syfte är att identifiera framgångsfaktorer respektive hinder vid implementeringen av systemteoretiskt förhållningssätt ute i skolors verksamheter samt hur detta kommer till uttryck i det fortsatta arbetet med att utveckla skolorna. Specifika frågeställningar är: Hur pedagogernas nyvunna kunskap kommer till uttryck i kontakten med elever, kollegor och ledning samt vilka de bidragande orsakerna är till att enheterna lyckas / misslyckas i sina intentioner att följa skolutvecklingsmodellen? Vilka framgångsfaktorer och hinder vid implementeringen av systemteoretiska förhållningssätt framkommer?Teori: Studien har sin teoretiska utgångspunkt i den interaktionistiska och etnometodologiska skolan som tillsammans utgör socialkonstruktionismen. Skolans miljö är starkt präglad av olika kulturella markörer. Skolan som institution har genom åren haft en stark ställning i samhället.

Före år 2009 låg ansvaret för den operativa djurskyddskontrollen hos kommunerna men i och med regeringens proposition 2007/08:63 flyttades ansvaret över till länsstyrelserna. Kontrollresurser i antal årsarbetskrafter minskade något efter överflytten och antalet personer som dessa var fördelade på minskade med 22 % första året och året därpå med ytterligare 35 %. Antalet genomförda kontroller har halverats sedan länsstyrelsen tog över ansvaret för djurskyddskontrollerna. I forskningen har man sett att de största källorna till stress hos andra arbetsgrupper bland annat varit personliga konflikter, hög arbetsbelastning, brist på samordning, organisatoriska begränsningar och ineffektivitet. Djurskydds-handläggare är ett yrke där hot och våld förekommer, inte bara under inspektioner utan även i sociala medier.

Den här undersökningen har visat att reinkarnationstanken finns inom ett flertal olika religioner. De religioner jag har tagit upp är Aboriginerna, några afrikanska religioner (Bambara, Benin, Edo, Yoruba, Evéerna, Igbo, Zulu), Antroposofi, Asatro, Buddhism, Cao Dai, Druser, Hare Krishna, Hinduism, Jainism, New Age, Scientologi, Taoism, Teosofi, Transcendental Meditation och Wicca. Jag hittade även andra religioner där reinkarnationstanken ingår men på grund av Tidsbrist så hann jag inte sätta mig in i dessa.Begreppet karma återfinns i nästan hälften av de religioner jag har tagit upp i min undersökning. De religioner där karma ingår är: Antroposofi, Buddhism, Cao Dai, Hare Krishna, Hinduism, Jainism, New Age, Transcendental Meditation och Wicca. De har alla rötter i den indiska religiösa traditionen, förutom kanske Wicca.

ABB Motors and Generators i Västerås, studiens fallstudieobjekt, tillhör koncernen ABB Ltd med anor från 1883 men som funnits i nuvarande form sedan 1988.

Detta arbete syftar till att ge en djupare förståelse kring begreppet lyssna. De frågor som ställts och som ligger till grund för arbetet är: Hur kan ett mer utvecklat sätt att lyssna göra en person mer framgångsrik i sitt yrke? Hur kan den personliga situationen förändras genom vårt sätt att lyssna? Studien belyser också olika kommunikationsmodeller samt vårt sätt att samtala. Sändaren skickar ett meddelande som på sin väg till mottagaren kan bli blandat med en massa brus. Brus kan vara av olika slag, t.ex.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur konsultchefer motiverar uthyrd personal inom de villkor som finns inom bemanningsbranschen. Bemanningsbranschen i sig står under unika förhållanden och konsultchefen har en komplex arbetssituation där de måste ta hänsyn till flera olika faktorer. Flexibilitet är en avgörande faktor då de ofta måste göra svåra avväganden till kundföretagens och konsulternas ofta motstridiga krav. Konsultchefens utmaning ligger i att kunna motivera och leda konsulten trots den distans som finns dem emellan. Utöver detta har vi tagit fram tre forskningsfrågor som vi har försökt besvara.Inom ramen för denna undersökning har fem konsultchefer intervjuats på fem olika medelstora företag i Västsverige.

Urban planning in Sweden has played an important role for the welfare state we have created. It has served as a way to achieve improvements. But too often decisions, about the changes, were made by those who were not directly affected by them. Democratically speaking, it is important that the group most affected by a decision also comes to make the decision. This thesis examines the motives for working with citizen participation and user participation in planning contexts.
