Övervikten i samhället har ökat, i Sverige är enligt dagens forskning hälften av alla vuxna män, en tredjedel av alla kvinnor och vart femte barn överviktiga eller feta. Ohälsosamma matvanor och ett stillasittande liv är saker som anses bidra till att vi blir sjuka och dör för ti-digt.Min kandidatuppsats syfte är att beskriva gymnasiekillars syn på hälsosam mat, matval samt påverkan. Detta för att få en förståelse för hur ungdomskillar resonerar gällande hälsosam mat, vilket kan fungera som stöd i utvecklandet av kostrelaterade insatser för ungdomar.Undersökningen var utformad som en enkätstudie med tyngdpunkt på öppna frågor. Under-sökningen utfördes på 59 elever som gick två olika yrkesförberedande program på en gymna-sieskola i en mellanstor stad i södra Sverige.Resultatet i undersökningen visar på att killarnas syn på vad hälsosam mat är varierar en hel del från person till person men att man trots detta kan se mönster som överensstämmer med varandra t.ex. gällande vikten av protein i kosten samt ett intag av varierad kost.När det gäller vilka faktorer som påverkar killarna i deras val av mat är resultatet mer unisont då de flesta av killarna ansåg att det fanns fem faktorer som påverkade dem i sitt val av mat.

Uppsatsen beskriver Lasse Landgren som person, nykterhetskämpe, präst och lärare under perioden 1920-1940 i jämförelse med bilden av honom idag, 1980-2006, utifrån de källor jag valt att använda mig av. Utifrån dessa källor som jag studerat kan jag se att bilden av honom förändrats från fullkomlig hjälte till en mer mänsklig person om än mycket uppskattad och omtyckt. Den största skillnaden enligt mig är det ordval författarna gjort i sina beskrivningar av honom. Anledningarna till denna förändring anser jag ligger dels i de olika författarnas bakgrund och dels samhällets förändring. Samhällets värderingar har förändrats/förskjutits och idag har vi ett mer kritiskt förhållandesätt till historien.

Facial expressions are a part of our body language that helps us to clarify the verbal communication between humans. We use our facial expressions every day, both consciously and unconsciously, to express emotions and attitudes depending on the situation. The hypothesis of the study is: Given a facial expression, how well can Microsoft Kinect, as an input method, determine a person?s feelings with the two algorithms Naive Bayes and Sequential Minimal Optimization? The feelings are limited to happy, sad, surprised and disgusted. With the help of Kinect, a person?s facial data, both coordinates of the face and parameterized data, were saved and used for machine learning.

When building large buildings, such as compartment buildings, there is a number of deliveries arriving on the construction site daily. In order to receive these deliveries without disturbing the rest of the work going on JM often books a fixed unloading time. When doing that they can be prepared when the delivery arrives. Making sure there is a suitable unloading area, someone to meet the delivery and when needed proper machines, such as a tractor or a crane, to help unload bigger deliveries. The person receiving the delivery is supposed to make an acceptance control where they check the delivered goods making sure nothing has been damaged in transport and that they have received what they were supposed to receive.

En persons insjuknande i hjärtinfarkt kräver ett akut omhändertagande och det finns då risk att de närstående till den drabbade personen hamnar i bakgrunden. Närstående är ett stöd och en resurs för både patient och vårdpersonal, men perso-nal upplever det ibland som svårt att bemöta dem bra. För att sjuksköterskor ska kunna uppmärksamma närståendes behov måste de få ökad kunskap om de när-ståendes situation. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en person som överlevt hjärtinfarkt. Femton vetenskap-liga artiklar analyserades med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys, vilken resulte-rade i fyra kategorier: Att överväldigas av känslor: Att gå in i en vårdarroll: Att behöva stöd och information samt Att se livet förändras.

The aim of this study is to with the help of my data, conduct statistic analyses about animal welfare mistakes and scarities, as a preventive measure for the public sector point of view and how farmers handle their animals in these cases, when and how these mistakes and scarities are likely to appear and in this way perhaps manage the existing problems. The aim of using judicial decisions of banning ownership and caretaking of animals according to the 29 § is that this judicial decision is the outermost fortification of animal welfare. In November 1938 the pro tempore investigator handed over a report with a proposition according the animal welfare legislation. Pro tempore proposed that the court should in some cases, be able to order a person guilty of cruelty against animals to a ban of owning or taking care of animals. This proposal unfortunately was turned down. The question about introduce a ban against owning or taking care of animals into the Swedish animal welfare legislation was again discussed in April 1967 at an interpellation debate in the parliaments second chamber.

Life in addiction and what it is like to quitA qualitative study based on men and womens emotional experienses and social relationshipsWomen in addiction are faced by harder social attitudes then men, which could be an explanation to the fact that, in comparison to men, less women are seen in addiction. That women experience stronger feelings of shame makes them inclined to hide their addiction and this in turn can increase the feeling of shame. The objective of this essay was to, with a starting-point in theory and essential concepts as social relationships and emotions, gain knowledge about emotional experiences and momentous events for men and women during time in addiction and when quitting. More specifically, the aim of the study was to answer the following questions; What is life in addiction and quitting, regarding social relationships and emotional experiences as pride and shame in interaction with people who are important to the individual, like? Do the situations women are in, and the experiences they have, differ from those of men? Do these social relationships and emotional experiences influence the addition and the quitting? In the study six persons have been interviewed, three men and three women who are all quitting, or trying to quit, their drug and/or alcohol addiction.

När en person får en kronisk sjukdom påverkas de närstående, som också har behov av stöd för att hantera den nya situationen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur närstående till personer med allvarlig kronisk sjukdom upplevde att få stöd. Studien är baserad på 16 vetenskapliga studier som är analyserade med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade slutligen i fem kategorier: att någon finns till hands när det behövs, att bli sedd och bekräftad, att växa i rollen som vårdare, att känna gemenskap med andra och att få veta för att kunna förstå. Det fanns ett stort behov av stöd både professionellt och stöd från familj och vänner hos närstående för att orka fortsätta vårda samt att kunna hantera sin situation.

?The myth of Palme- a textual analysis of the documentary Palme and its description of the social memory of Olof Palme as a norm or anomaly? by Emma Svanström aims to analyze how the directors of the documentary Palme choose to present Olof Palme to the future generations. Also the goal is to find out if their version presents Palme as a person who followed the norms or was divergent.To this purpose the thesis use textual analysis combined with a quantitative method in search of which persons the directors give the right to form the myth of Palme and which keywords they use to do describe him. To view the film as a social memory in the transformation to a myth the thesis use Jan Assmans theory of social memory and to find out if the documentary describes Palme as following the norms or divergent it uses Mary Douglas theory of anomaly.The results show that it is mainly the narrator and Olof Palme that gets to form the myth of him but also his family, friends, fellow employees and other persons that met him or was affected by his actions. Palme is discribed as special, intelligent, interested in social politics and able to act as he saw fit even if it was against the norms.

Bakgrund: I Sverige är det mer än 160 000 personer som insjuknat i demens och hälften av dem har Alzheimers sjukdom, som är den vanligaste demenssjukdomen. När diagnosen Alzheimers sjukdom ställts förändras patientens och anhörigas livssituation. Anhöriga tar på sig ett ökat omvårdnadsansvar och känner en större ängslan och oro för framtiden. Syfte: Att belysa anhörigas upplevelser av att vårda en person med Alzheimers sjukdom. Metod: Studien utfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie och sju vetenskapliga artiklar som motsvarade syftet granskades kritiskt och analyserades.

The research within the management control systems-field and more specifically performance management has been rather shallow and not much has happened the last decades besides the balanced scorecard. The researchers see a lack of studies focusing on the effects of an integrated performance management system and also how it affects the different hierarchical levels and the tasks to perform.We decided to perform an essay with case study-characteristics by looking at both the strategic and tactical level at Volvo Group, or more specifically Group Trucks. We performed three different interviews, one at the group level and two at the division level. The aim was to see what effect an integrated performance management system had on the tactical level (i.e. the divisions).Our findings and corresponding analysis suggested that Volvo was a rather centralized company in order to get the performance management system to work by enabling a ?weekly control?.

This thesis concerns the term contemporary history and its role in landscape architecture. Today?s contemporary history is defined as the planning and architecture connected to the 60s and 70s, in Sweden carried out as a large scale planning project called ?Miljonprogrammet?, which set out to build one million new residences in ten years. Initially, the term contemporary history and its complex of problem are examined. To deepen the picture of today?s situation, a historical review has been made, starting in early 1900s ending in 2000s concerning how different planning and architectural influences has varied through the years.
