Syfte och frågeställningar:Studiens huvudsakliga syfte var att undersöka vilka elever som går på Sveriges elitinnebandygymnasier efter reformen av den gymnasiala idrottsutbildningen.Ytterligare ett syfte var att urskilja påverkansfaktorer i utvecklingsprocessen som innebandyspelare.- Hur ser förekomsten av relative age effect ut på elevpopulationen?- Hur upplever eleverna sina förväntningar och egna förmåga i sitt innebandyutövande?- Hur ser elevernas idrottsbakgrund ut?Metod: Enkätundersökning har använts som metod i denna studie. Totalt har 132 elever på Sveriges elitinnebandygymnasier besvarat enkäten. Könsfördelningen var 46 flickor och 86 pojkar. Enkäten bestod av både öppna och slutna frågor där eleverna fick besvara frågor som rörde deras idrottande idag samt idrottsbakgrund.Resultat: Elevernas födelsefördelning var spridd sett till hela populationen.

Att drabbas av hjärtinfarkt kan innebära en livsomvälvande upplevelse där insikten om ens egen dödlighet och livets mening blir uppenbar. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser i efterförloppet av en hjärtinfarkt. Tolv artiklar analyserades med manifest innehållsanalys och resluterade i sex kategorier; att få en andra chans, att inte längre vara samma person, att relationer förändras, att vara ensam i sin sjukdom, att behöva stöd från omgivningen och att känna osäkerhet inför framtiden. Överlevandet sågs som en andra chans i livet. Händelsen gav upphov till en känsla av att inte längre vara samma person och de tappade självförtroendet.

Background:Public health is a concern of many important areas of society and it`s important that Sweden works with the health of the individual through the eleven public health areas. Health isn`t longer only a objective but even a resource. That`s why the society works with the health of the individual through a salutogenic perspective, about what can preserve or enhance the health of the individual.Aim:The aim of this study is to find out what the staff at a nursing home has views of what health can bring, and also study how health affects their ability to work. Also to study the employee`s apprehension of the wellness reimbursement that employer offers them.Material and Method:A qualitative method was used to obtain results from eight interviews with health care workers in Skåne. Interviews were transcribed and analyzed using content analysis.Results:For the interview person?s health means to feel good and be healthy.

Rapporten syftar till att ge läsaren en liten inblick i hur en artist och projektledare jobbar i en konsertproduktion och de konflikter som kan uppstå när en person axlar dessa två roller samtidigt. Jag ställer mig frågan: Vilka konflikter kan uppstå när en och samma person måste axla rollen som både artist och projektledare i ett kreativt projekt? För mig har många inre konflikter blivit till yttre konflikter, och påverkat både mig och mina bandmedlemmar. Den tydligaste konflikten som uppstod var att jag hade stora svårigheter att skärma av mina personliga känslor från mina professionella roller som artist och producent. För att ge ett djup åt syftet jämförs min erfarenhet med två andra aktörer i artist- och projektledningsbranschen.

Under HT08 och VT09 har vi under vårt examensarbete tagit fram en ny mekanisk produkt. Det är ett mekaniskt styrsystem för sjukhussängar. Det är ett enkelt och billigt system, och det kommer att underlätta för personalen på sjukhusen runt om i landet. Då produkten gör det lättare för personalen att kontrollera sängen, samt att det nu räcker med en person som utför arbetet med att knuffa sängen..

This report describes a final thesis done during the spring of 2008 as part of the bachelor degree in computer engineering degree at the School of Engineering in Jönköping.The client is working in the consulting business and is involved in, amongst others, work regarding information security. Within this field they perform so called Threat, Risk and Vulnerability assessments. Today these assessments are done by a predefined method, but many details are controlled by the person documenting the project. A wish was made that the implementation was standardized, it should also ease the task of estimating the need for time and money. The solution for this seems to be a software tool.

The poultry red mite, Dermanyssus gallinae, is a common problem in poultry facilities, causing great discomfort for the hens and effecting the production economically. Few efficient acaricides are available and there is a need for new control methods since resistance has become a problem in some cases. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of the new liquid silica control agent Ectopar, on the poultry red mite. An initial in vitro test of Ectopar and its two components individually was performed, where live mites were sealed in together with filter paper impregnated with one of the three solutions prepared. The survival of the mites was thereafter recorded repeatedly during a period of 120 hours and compared to a control. For the field study, two poultry farms with different housing systems were used, one with furnished cages (farm 1) and one with a single tier floor system (farm 2).

This essay addresses and treats the employer's obligation to work adaptation for people with a physical disability according to discrimination law and the work environment law. Furthermore it also treats the employer's obligation to rehabilitation of employees that has a reduced working ability as consequence of their work. The essay also intends to investigate if there are any differences in the employer?s obligation to work adaptation when recruiting and the employer?s obligation to work adaption for an existing employment. In this work, there is a background chapter which describes the UN and the European Union's approach to work reduction ability and disability. Furthermore, there is a detailed description of the work environment law, the discrimination law, the social insurance code and the employment protection legislation.

Sjuksköterskor möter människor i ett palliativt skede oavsett vilken vårdavdelning det handlar om. Att vårda en person palliativt kan sjuksköterskan uppleva som tidskrävande och stressande. En rad känslor uppkommer som frustration, ledsamhet, ilska och hjälplöshet. Att känna sig otillräcklig och inte kunna ge den tid och vård sjuksköterskan vill upplevs som frustrerande. KASAM ? känsla av sammanhang beskriver hur en person med ett starkt eller svagt KASAM hanterar de känslor som uppkommer.

This study examines how a couple of Swedish daily newspapers construct the hacker network Anonymous, with an aim to discuss its possible effects. The question was: In which ways is the network Anonymous constructed in a few Swedish newspapers?                      26 articles from four chosen newspaper were analysed, but because of many similarities in content, only 10 were chosen for deep analysis. With Fairclough's model of critical discourse analysis as chosen method, constructions varying from the images of heroes to villains were found as a result. The most common construction was that of Anonymous as a threat, which was most often exaggerated compared to what actions were actually described in the texts.

The communicator has a professional role which is relatively unspecified and hard to define. To work with communication can mean several different tasks, who also might vary between different types of organizations. The purpose with our study is to clarify the professional title communicator and its meaning. By applying a power perspective on the communicators experienced professional role in meaning to find out who has the power over the communication.     Our study is made of qualitative interviews with four professional communicators working in private organizations. We have used semi structured interviews in our study which means that we before we went through with the interviews defined themes which the interviews were built upon.

När någon som man tycker om blir akut, allvarligt sjuk och behöver sjukhusvård så upplevs det många gånger som skrämmande. Ofta upplevs det osäkert hur det kommer att gå för den sjuke personen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva närståendes upplevelser när en person är akut och allvarligt sjuk. Sexton vetenskapliga artiklar från åren 1995- 2004 som motsvarade syftet granskades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: att vilja vara närvarande hela tiden: att vara orolig för att inte klara av hela situationen: att få stöd och tröst av personer man litar på: att veta vad som händer för att kunna förstå och känna hopp.

Bakgrund: Undersökning visar att en person med funktionsnedsättning som har en stillasittande fritid löper dubbelt så stor risk för fetma än en person utan funktionsnedsättning. Det är vanligt att personer med funktionsnedsättning är fysiskt inaktiva och en orsak kan vara de hinder som finns i vårt samhälle som omöjliggör delaktighet i fysisk aktivitet. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som har betydelse för fysisk aktivitet hos personer med funktionsnedsättning i åldern 13-25 år. Metod: Litteraturstudie. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades och sammanställdes utifrån de faktorer som visades påverka vid deltagande i fysisk aktivitet.

Lip force has been found to affect the ability to achieve satisfying speech production and swallowing. A normative value for lip force in adults has been measured to 15 Newton (N). Corresponding value for children measured with Lip Force Meter 100 (LF100) does not exist. In the current study lip force was measured in children between the ages of five and ten years. The aim of the study was to obtain normative values for children with typical development in separate age groups.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the use of IT, that is the Internet and other applications of personal computers, among seniors 65+. It also deals with issues of access to IT for seniors in public libraries. The theoretical background of the study consists of Rogers "Diffusion of innovations", Hektors categories of information activities, and the Swedish IT-commissions categories of motives and prerequisites for the use of IT. The research questions focus on factors motivating the use of IT, the extent and the purposes of IT use, the consequences and the barriers that IT-users experience, and views on IT in public libraries and IT courses, respectively. Qualitative interviews were carried out with nine senior IT-users.
