Organizational culture is a widely discussed topic. Today job mobility in society is increasing as well as part-time employment. This study aims at investigate how organizational culture is maintained in an organization where employees work as combiners of different work occupations. The study is a case study of the department of Art at Konstfack (The University College of Arts, Crafts and Design). The organization is unique in the respect to that the majority of the employees have part-time employments within Konstfack combined with their parallel own artistic occupations.

What impact does the Swedish society have on the practice of Islam? That is the main topic of this thesis.As a result of migration, the distinction between a specific region and a culture or religion has been mixed. Islam is not just part of the Middle East but is more and more institutionalized in the Western, and the Swedish society. Sweden, which is one on the most secular countries in the world, has developed into a country where the view on religion have been privatized. Religion can be practiced, but not in public.

The departure point of this thesis is the context of the institution and the processes surrounding the handling of personal archives at the National Library of Sweden. These processes are examined using Actor Network Theory. Around the personal archive a network is constructed and contained by actors ? the archive itself, the librarian, the conservator, the researcher, organizational structures and others. Within this network choices are made of what is significant.

Two of Swedens´s major banks, SEB and Handelsbanken, which appears in the same industry and have similar strategy. Both banks can achieve a similar result despite the fact that their reward system looks quite different. An issue that arises from this observation is the relative reward system to the rest of the economy control system.Our purpose of this paper is therefore to examine the reward system in the organization's financial management systems. We wonder if the reward system may be a function of economic control system, or part of the system, or perhaps made independent of the system and then gradually adapted?In our study, we choose to assume a reward system has three functions to manage, motivate and compose the employee group.

This paper discuss the possibilities to improve the Swedish political nomination system. It brings up some of the values and norms that can be used to change the existing system. Values as openness, the demand of responsibility and also if there is values from the American spoils system that can be used in the Swedish system. A minor purpose is to discuss the part of the parliament within the nomination process. To investigate this I have some theoretical starting points and a self constructed analysis tool.

This is an essay concerning the differences between boys? and girls? way of learning and how this difference influences the teaching in the technology subject. The method is divided in two. The first part is based on a survey over literature about teaching girls and boys in the technology subject. The second part is based on interviews with three male teachers in the same subject.

Concept - detail - buildingStockholm International Fairs, new main entrance I studied at the KTH School of Architecture from 1995 to 2000. After completing my studies I wanted to work in an office that had a structural way of thinking and that knew the building process; I therefore chose to work for Rosenberg Architects. I have worked on a number of projects, among them several for the Stockholm International Fairs, from the Rica Talk Hotel and Hall AE, to the new main entrance.In the projects we undertook at the School of Architecture we had to identify and draw details that were central to our concepts. I have here identified some key details that we considered to be essential for the concept in a built project; the new main entrance of the Stockholm International Fairs completed in 2013. The entrance has complex logistics with multiple intersecting flows: exhibitors, employees, journalists, VIPs and others.

Syfte: Uppsatsens huvudsyfte är att utreda vilken roll Sveriges kreditgarantiföreninghar vid finansiering av småföretag. Detta uppnås genom följande delsyften:1) Undersöka och analysera vad förändringarna i förmånsrättslagen ochBaselreglerna inneburit för Sveriges fyra största banker och ALMI vidkreditgivning till småföretag samt vilken roll KGF Sverige har försmåföretagen i Sverige.2) Diskutera och dra slutsatser om vad lagförändringen och införandet av de nya reglerna inneburit samt vilken roll KGF Sverige kan ha förSveriges småföretags utveckling.Metod: Det vetenskapliga förhållningssättet i denna uppsats är abduktion eftersom det sker en alternering mellan referensram och empirin som omtolkas i skenet av varandra. Anledningen till valet av abduktion som utgångspunkt i uppsatsen är att det finns knapphändig teori om kreditgarantiföreningar. Informationen i referensramen om KGF har utformats genom den empiriska undersökningen, däremot har frågorna till undersökningen av kreditinstituten och företagenbyggts upp utifrån referensramen.Slutsats: Uppsatsens undersökning visar att det finns ett behov av en extern part vid kreditgivning till småföretag som kan ställa säkerheter mot kreditgivaren. KGF Värmland, ledstjärnan bland Sveriges kreditgarantiföreningar, har visat att KGF kan bli en viktig part i finansieringslösningen för småföretagare över helalandet.

The purpose of this study is to look into what part libraries take in the integration of mentally disabled persons into the society. What I wanted to know more about was how the mentally disabled persons experience the library. I also wanted to find out what librarians and persons working with mentally disabled persons have to say about the part libraries take in the integration of mentally disabled into the society. The study is based on interviews and literature studies. I have interviewed two librarians, four mentally disabled persons and two persons working with mentally disabled people.

The network with its virtual business structure challenge the established vertical business structure. Part of the network theory that has developed focuses on relationships that forms B2Bnetworks. One way to create a B2B-network is for independent businesses to form a organization promoting co-operation. For co-operation to be successful it requires well thought-out actions, but a lack of how these actions are implemented have been noticed. This study explores how encouragement of co-operation can be done practically.

Syftet med studien är att få en djupare förståelse för hur sjuksköterskor på barn och ungdomspsykiatrin inom ätstörningsvården i Västra Götaland upplever det sociala stödet i sitt arbete. Syftet är vidare att få förståelse för hur sjuksköterskorna upplever att det sociala stödet från kollegor och patienter inverkar på dem i det dagliga arbetet. Metoden i uppsatsen var en kvalitativ intervju som utfördes på sammanlagt sju deltagare, samt en enkätundersökning som utgjorde studiens bakgrund. Studiens resultat delas in i tre kategorier, varav dessa är: Socialt stöd från kollegor, Socialt stöd från tredje part och Kommunikation. Resultatet visade att sjuksköterskepersonalen upplevde ett socialt stöd från arbetskollegor, samt att det fanns ett socialt stöd att hämta hos chefer.

Deras kunder äger rättigheterna till produkterna och företagets mål är att alltid vara en del i kundernas framgångar. På företaget finns en medvetenhet om att villkoren i kundavtalen kan påverka företagets kapitalbindning och förmåga att leverera i tid. Syftet med arbetet är att identifiera de faktorer i kundkontrakten som påverkar kapitalbindningen och leveransprecisionen och med utgångspunkt i det utveckla arbetet med upprättande av nya kundavtal, samt kartlägga och ge förslag på förbättringsåtgärder i materialförsörjningsprocessen. En kartläggning av nuläget på företaget har gjorts i form av intervjuer, observationer och studier av dokument för att hitta de parametrar som påverkar och de rutiner som kan förbättras.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the children in the Maasai villages in Tanzania are learning the Maasai?s musictraditions and ngoma. What is the importance of the school compared with the family?Tanzania has an old tradition of ngoma of many different cultures. The Maasai?s are a nomadic people and have traditions of their own.To get answers for the purpose of this study, these questions have been formed:How do the children learn the Maasai?s musictraditions?When do the children learn the Maasai?s musictraditions and start to practise them?What role and significance do the school have when it comes to teaching the Maasai?s musictraditions?For this study I have interviewed three informants who have good knowledge about the Maasai?s and their traditions.

The purpose of this study is that, based on expertise in special education tutoring, examine the degree of supervision demanded by teachers in primary schools. As a result of this study, we can see the views teachers have regarding guidance within the following issues: the demand for tutoring, the importance of conversation and reflection, and guidance from the specialist teacher.Since the study deals with phenomena of a qualitative nature, we use semi-structured interviews in the empirical part of trying to understand the informants' way of looking at the phenomenon we are investigating. The study included interviews with six teachers in the elementary school year?s 1-3. The results show that there are more opportunities than obstacles to mentoring.

The question of excessive global energy use needs to be solved. All energy production and usage have negative environmental impacts, which are best solved by reducing energy consumption and by using energy more efficiently. A large part of the Swedish energy use is concentrated to the building sector and to reduce the total energy consumption real efforts need to be made to make buildings more energy efficient.The aim of this study was to investigate how energy is used in one of Göteborg University?s buildings and to find measures that can be taken to improve its energy efficiency. The chosen building Zoologen, is used for research and education.The main method of the study is computer simulations of the present building and of possible energy reducing measures to be made in the future.
