Unhealthiness is not just a damaged back or asbestos. The fact that mental ill-health seems to increase in our society is well known. Statistics from Arbetsmiljöverket proves a fourfold increase of work-related disorders since 1997. These are primarily caused by organizational and social factors, 60% are considered caused by stress and a heavy workload. Sick leave due work related fatigue and depressions are scarily common today.

?Tollarsjuka? is a disease with a suspected immunopathological background seen in Nova Scotia duck tolling retrievers. Pyrexia, lameness, stiffness and joint- or musclepain are typical clinical signs. The purpose of this study is to describe case histories from dogs with a possible evidence of ?tollarsjuka?. 18 private dogs were included in this report. Generalised stiffness, lameness and fatigue were the most frequent manifestations of the disease.

Transdermal drug delivery, besides painfulinjections with syringes, has long been associatedwith small size particle pharmaceuticals, which candiffuse through the skin. This report relate a concept study that consider a number of different proposals to improve the overcharging system in BAE Systems Ha?gglunds tracked vehicle series BvS10, to maintain sealevel power at extreme altitude.At high altitude the power losses beacuase of the air density that decreases, which results in less fuel can be burned. The decreasing of air density also gives rise to fatigue failure of the turbocharger unless power is reduced.The proposals shall be as required by BAE Systems Ha?gglunds economically sustainable and defensible from a packing perspective. That means the selected solution must have a reasonable price tag and at the same time a minimal impact on adjacent components.The basis for this thesis is based on benchmarking of both the auto industry as the flight industry, to find inspiration and tips for improvement.Some of the concepts have after gathering facts and calculations been excluded while other solutions has been considered as workable and thus interesting for BAE Systems Ha?gglunds.Initially the current turbochargingsystem was analyzed in order to determine the starting point and thus be able to fix the current problems surrounding high altitude driving.

The purpose of this report is to find out which crops, that are good for strawfuel, and can be grown i the area around the city of Lund. The background of this report it that Lunds energy is planning to bild a biofuelheated thermal power station in Örtofta outside of Lund. I have in the report limited me to the crops hemp, whole crop (triticale), reed canary grass, elephant grass and jerusalem artichoke. I have through a documentary research checked the crops, cultivabillity in the south of Sweden, and how they should fit, in the Scanian crop sequence. Hemp is an annual crop which probably could manage in the Scanian crop sequence. Whole crop often triticale because of it´s high yield and low rate of shed seed. Could also fit into the crop sequence of crop in Scanian. Triticale is annual, and could be grown at the same kind of fields as used to wheat, whith is why it would be possible to grow it in Scania. Reed canary grass is a reedlike grass that is easy grown at most soils.

För att besvara studiens syfte har sökning efter artiklar (n=17) genomförts i databaserna Blackwell Synergy samt Elin@Dalarna. Följande sökord har använts i olika kombinationer; cancer, patients, experience, nurse care, quality of life, scale, instrument, chemotherapy och care. Resultatet visade att cytostatikabehandlingen hade både positiv och negativ inverkan på patienternas livskvalitet. Livskvaliteten ökade då symtom lindrades.

This paper was part of the ongoing cooperation between the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority and the Department of Psychology at Lund University. The purpose of this study was to develop a self-report measure regarding human factors, for the air traffic controllers to fill out before they start their working shift. This in order to aid the team leaders in their judgment regarding the air traffic controller's ability to perform at the right safety level. The self-report measure would also serve as an aid for the air traffic controllers who have a responsibility regarding their own performance. If successful this self-report measure would make it easier for the air traffic controllers to be alert regarding certain factors that can have a large impact on their performance.

Cancerrehabilitering definieras som en process vars mål är att förebygga och minska följder av cancer och cancerbehandling samt utgå från patientens problematik. Flera studier har visat att rehabilitering kan minska cancer- och cancerbehandlingarnas biverkningar. Syftet med studien var att kartlägga arbetsterapeutiska interventioner relaterade till personer som lever med cancer. En litteraturstudie med data från elva studier som representerade både kvantitativ och kvalitativ forskning genomfördes. Resultatet visade att vardagliga aktiviteter är viktiga för att patienterna ska kunna skingra sina tankar men även för att öka sin känsla av att vara kunnig.

Research shows that there is a lack of knowledge of adult students with ADHD. Most of all research focuses on children with ADHD in school. The purpose of this study was to gain a better understanding of how adult learners with ADHD experience academic studies related to cognitive difficulties, emotion, motivation, and their experience of SOC. The questions tried to determine how any cognitive difficulties and emotions are perceived, how students' motivation to study impacted and their experience of SOC based on studies in higher education. To answer the purpose and questions used qualitative interviews based on three students with ADHD using a hermeneutic method.

Åmotfors Bruk AB (ÅBAB) has today an inefficient production of steam for the manufacturing of paper. Unpredictable energy prices and modernisation of the current equipment has been the underlying factors to invest in a thermal power plant, mainly driven by garbage. This facility will not only use the steam for paper production, it will also generate electricity through a steam turbine. Today, when a fault on the supplying line occurs which leads to disconnection of the external grid, all the support of electricity to Åmotfors Bruk (ÅB) will disappear. This will lead to major interruptions in the paper production, which will cause severe economical losses.

Bakgrund: I Sverige drabbas varje år 600 personer av kronisk njursvikt. Ett tillstånd som bidrar till att blodet inte renas från restprodukter. För att ersätta njurarnas förlorade funktion kan hemodialys utföras, en behandling som blir en stor del av patienternas vardag. Med god insikt kring hemodialys kan sjuksköterskan möta patientens sjukdomsupplevelse och lidande och så långt som möjligt lindra detta genom adekvata åtgärder. Syftet: Syftet var att belysa patienters upplevelse av att leva med hemodialys i det dagliga livet.

Gunsta is situated about 10 km east of Uppsala. Today there are plans to establish 1000 new households in Gunsta before year 2030. The required energy for heating houses and water would be distributed via a district heating system, which also includes 200 existing residences. The annual required energy, according to this study, would be 16.2 GWh with a maximal peak effect of 6.9 MW. To meet this need, the study suggests a system with heat pumps to upgrade the 31?C water from a 1.8 kilometre deep borehole.

Patientsäkerhet är ett underprioriterat område i hälso- och sjukvården, vilket bör förändras omgående eftersom patienter  kommer till skada och lidande förlängs. För ökad patientsäkerhet bör sjuksköterskans arbetsmiljö uppmärksammas och förbättras. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka hur olika arbetsmiljöfaktorer påverkar sjuksköterskan i utförandet av patientsäker vård. Litteraturstudien innehåller sjutton artiklar, tolv kvantitativa, fyra kvalitativa och en av både kvalitativ och kvantitativ forskningsansats. Resultatet utgjordes av följande fyra teman: sjuksköterskans ökade arbetskrav och arbetsbelastning, ersonalbemanning och tid, vårdteamets påverkan på arbetsmiljön och emotionella faktorers påverkan på patientsäkerheten .

Fibromyalgi är en sjukdom som karaktäriseras av smärta, trötthet och stelhet och sjukdomen är vanligare hos kvinnor än hos män. Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att beskriva personers upplevelse av smärta vid fibromyalgi. KASAM användes som teoretisk förankring. En kvalitativ ansats valdes och sammanlagt har 13 vetenskapliga artiklar sammanställts till ett resultat. Artiklarna har kvalitetsgranskats enligt Hälsohögskolans granskningsprotokoll, med fokus på etiska överväganden.
