A range of public health and animal welfare problems has been shown to be associated with free-roaming dogs. With a high density of free-roaming dogs and with a major tourism industry, Samoan tourists are likely to be influenced by the presence of the dogs. The tourists are mainly from the Oceanic region; with New Zealand and Australia as the biggest contributors. The aim of this study was to examine the potential impacts of dogs on visitors to Samoa. A questionnaire was handed out to 281 visitors all over Samoa, collecting opinions and information on visitors? experiences and behaviour regarding the Samoan dogs.

The distribution of work related tasks depending on gender leads to different appraisal depending on which gender is performing a task. This aim of this research is to study how gender differences influence task allocation within the restaurant industry. The study is inspired by a discourse analysis perspective complemented by constructivist and critical pragmatic theory. Interviews were conducted in two focus groups with seven participants in total. The analysis is divided into four sections which answer six discourse analytical questions using the interview material.

70 percent of Sweden´s municipalities say they do not have vacant rental flats and a shortage is emerging, during the same time are 1.1 million young people ready to enter the housing market. In order to curb the housing shortage, have the Swedish politicians since the postwar period chosen to stimulate the market with subsidies to increase new production and to control that what is built is in the right direction. The construction industry is perceived as conservative, and many argue that the state keeps it under their wings, which has led to that the development not has progressed in the same way as other, non-subsidy regulated industries.The purpose of ours bachelor thesis is to provide an overall picture and describe the underlying problems of the housing shortage at the rental market. In addition, we want to present theories about where possible actions could take place in the market, by illuminate the problem from the differente actors perspective.To fulfill our purpose and provide a deeper understanding of the problem we have chosen a qualitative approach. We interviewed nine different actors on the Swedish housing market, two managers, two to representatives of Halmstad Municipality, a representative for the construction operators and four different interest groups.

Det visar sig att interna priser kan göra det möjligt för ett företag att mer effektivt styra företaget mot de gemensamma målen. En debiteringsmodell kan användas för att koppla interndebitering till en utförd leverans där en skriftlig begäran skickas elektronisk till mottagaren med besked om belopp och vart pengarna ska betalas. Priset som anges är antingen baserat utifrån en prislista som uppdateras kontinuerligt eller beräknas omgående och fastställs per beställning. Genom att bygga in servicenivåer i en debiteringsmodell kan beställningsbeteende inom intern logistik ändras genom att chefer gör beställare medvetna om hur deras val påverkar produktionsenhetens ekonomi. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka huruvida en debiteringsmodell för intern transport kan förändra beställningsbeteenden och sänka kostnader för intern logistik.

With the elevated oil prices of today it is necessary to look for other heating alternatives. If the oil price continues to develop in the same way it has done the last years it will soon be impossible for many producing garden companies to survive. The purpose of this diploma work is to compare three different fuel options in order to find the most economic one considering the conditions of Katrinebergs Handelsträdgård AB. In relation to oil it is profitable to change to any of the three alternatives: wood chips, wood pellets and grain. The most profitable option is to change to wood chips. This alternative has a payoff time less than three years and after that the annual saving compared to the oil is relatively high. The annual cost is 65 % of the cost of the oil alternative.

Afrikansk hästpest är endemisk i östra och centrala Afrika, den sprids med hjälp av mygg av arten Culicoides spp. Det har setts att sjukdomen kan spridas mellan länder exempelvis vid import av zebror. Det finns ingen behandling mot afrikansk hästpest, men det finns vaccin.

This means that companies need to market themselves effectively, to convince and get across their message to their customers. Marketing is an extensive process in which different factors must be taken into account. A company must know what the coustomer needs in order to get through to them.

Detta arbete syftar till att få en bild av hur delar av bioenergimarknaden kan se ut. Vad styr priset och vad är bra att veta om man funderar över att sälja energigrödor eller biobränslen till ett blivande eller befintligt kraftvärmeverk. I den här undersökningen har jag valt att avgränsa mig till halm och flis. Det visar sig att transport och val av hantering är de kritiska punkterna för ekonomin. För halmbalar är transport med lastbil och tåg det lönsammaste alternativet och skiljer sig marginellt vid de olika transportavstånden.

We made interpretations and created meaning based on our research results.Our theoretical framework is based primarily on Chesbroughs (2003) research on open innovation.
