There are several factors influencing the profitability of production with sheep. Two of the most important factors are ewe fertility and lamb survival. The present study examines the demolition of a house on Hammarkulletorget in 1996 and the discourse of Hammarkullen, Gothenburg(Sweden), drawn from the perspective of historicization [?historisering?]. I have examined how the past played role inpresentations of Hammarkullen and how the past affected the decision to demolish a house. By examining which role the neighbourhood?spast time played in the perception of the neighbourhood, the thesis aims at providing a better understanding of howthe past can influence and legitimize major changes in the urban environment.In the early 1980s the image of Hammarkullen as a victim of negative publicity is established and this reputation lives beyond thesimplistic and negative descriptions themselfs.

This study concerns the complete oeuvre by the British author Helen Zahavi: Dirty Weekend (1991), True Romance (1994), and Donna and the Fatman (1998). Her novels are here read as a trilogy dealing with the dialectics of gender and violence in 20th century discourse, drawing on theories of how the construction of subjects is produced by power, of the relation between power and sexuality.The heroines of Zahavi?s novels try their best to move about in a world where their freedom of movement is limited to their female identity. Vi vill undersöka vilken vikt behandlingspersonal och institutionsledning lägger vid den fysiska miljön på behandlingshem för ungdomar. Frågeställningarna lyder: ? Utifrån vilka medvetna strategier arbetar man med den fysiska miljön på behandlingshem med miljöterapeutisk inriktning? Hur arbetar man för att utforma samt utveckla den fysiska miljön? På vilket sätt resonerar behandlingspersonal samt institutionsledning angående hur den fysiska miljön ser ut i dagsläget? I vilken utsträckning är behandlingspersonal involverad i omsorgen av den fysiska miljön på behandlingshemmen?? Vilken konkret betydelse anser personal på miljöterapeutiska behandlingshem att den fysiska miljön har för ungdomarnas behandlingsprocess? ? På vilket sätt får ungdomarna medverka i utformningen av den fysiska miljön på behandlingshemmen? Hur upplever ungdomarna den fysiska miljön på avdelningen?Undersökningen är en kvalitativ fallstudie som bygger på en gruppintervju med sex ungdomar samt sex individuella semistrukturerade intervjuer med institutionschefer samt behandlingsassistenter från tre olika behandlingshem med miljöterapeutisk inriktning för LVU-placerade ungdomar. I analysen jämförs institutionernas arbete med och utformning av den fysiska miljön med den idealtypiska miljöterapin angående detta ämne.

Still it has been read under the centuries with a fascination and eager to understand the structure of power and how to master it. My purpose with this study is to apply this Machiavellian idea of the capable prince on to the earlier research of the Swedish duke Karl, later on King Karl IX.

Jag vill i den här uppsatsen ge mig in i en värld där ära och heder ständigt står på spel. En värld där ett enda illa valt ord kan orsaka en släktfejd och få förödande konsekvenser vad det gäller att skörda människoliv. Världen är ganska fåordig och enkel, känslorna är raka och direkta. Det finns ungefär 50 stycken bevarade isländska sagor, och det är två av dessa jag vill studera närmare. I de isländska sagorna är det ofta männen som är centrala figurer, kring dem kretsar de flesta äventyr och de är ofta huvudpersoner i uppgörelser och vid tingsplatser.

The communist party Khmer Rouge took over the power in Cambodia in 1975, and ruled the country until the beginning of 1979. During these years they attempted to create a completely new society, a true Khmer nation, which involved massive economic and social reorganisation and elimination of people which did not fit in the new ideal.Three decades has passed since the genocide, and the senior leaders of the Khmer Rouge will now be tried in the Khmer Rouge tribunal, which consists of both Cambodian and international judges and prosecutors. The integrity of those tribunal representatives will be crucial for the integrity of the tribunal as a whole and thus also for the outcome of the processes. It is hard to determine whether the purposes for demand of accountability will be satisfied, it is though clear that there are many obstacles in the way for an unproblematic and fair procedure..

The main purpose of this master thesis is to identify the issues concerning the transformation process of a product oriented company into a service oriented company, and how these issues can be overcome. We will exemplify this by developing a dewatering pump rental concept for ABS, and identify the drivers and barriers for ABS when implementing the service oriented rental concept in Sweden and Poland. This master thesis is based on the systems perspective. The reason for this is the required holistic perspective, where the system has to be regarded from different points of departure in order to be understood. The theoretical studies include services and change management.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka snickarglädje i den valda byn Hörda. Genom kvantitativa studier diskuteras hur byns fasaderförändrats över tid samt mer kvalitativa analyser av ett litet antal hus idag. Undersökningar av kataloghus bidrar till en diskussion om hur dagens syn på snickarglädje är vilket även representeras ibyns olika typer av hus. Resultatet av de olika undersökningar som gjorts visar att snickarglädjen har betydelse för byborna. Sedan Funktionalismens genombrott i samhället var länge dekorativa element "förbjudna" på hus men har idag återkommit och återigen smyckkar våra hem.

The thesis will discuss the interpretations of the two requisites; Control and improper means in the paragraph concerning trafficking in human beings, who can be find in the Swedish penal code chapter 4, section. 1 a. This paragraph is worded in a way that indicates that the paragraph is misinterpreted and that it is therefore hard to proof that the present requisites have been used or fulfilled. However, Sweden has by accepting international legal framework committed itself to do anything in its power to prevent, suppress and punish trafficking in persons. The interpretation of the paragraph has shown that the difficulties have mainly depended of its indistinct formula.A new review published in April 2008 shows that the paragraph should be afforded a new wording, and therefore contain new requisites.

Påståendet om att ju längre ett förhållande fortgår, desto bättre lär individerna i relationen känna varandra, är ett logiskt antagande. Forskning visar att vissa personlighetsegenskaper är mer önskvärda än andra hos en potentiell partner och att dessa egenskaper och attribut skiljer sig beroende på om ett par känt varandra lång eller kort tid. En enkätstudie genomfördes bland trettiotre par. Deltagarna uppmanades att skatta självbild, jagideal, partnerbild samt partnerideal genom att rangordna 15 personlighetsegenskaper. Resultatet visade att individer tenderar att känna sin partner sämre i förhållanden som varat i fem till nio år i jämförelse med par som varit tillsammans kortare eller längre.
