This is an essay in Swedish on the subject of democracy and demonstrations of collective violence. The study is based on a conflict between the youth-house movement in Copenhagen and the state of Denmark - the city of Copenhagen. The focus is over the period December 2006 until January 2008 with reflection on the political movement around the youth-house from the 80's and onwards. This political movement roots back to the late 60's and especially the squatting movement, the BZ, of Europe which had a strong period in Denmark both in the 60's and the 80's. There is also a strong connection to other political movements of anti-fascism, anti-globalisation, queer activism and equal rights.

I denna uppsats kan man ta del av varför allt fler unga tjejer förskrivs antidepressiva mediciner och varför tjejer överhuvud taget får mer depressioner än killar. Man kan läsa bakomliggande fakta om antidepressiva mediciner och depressioner, de sociala faktorerna till varför unga drabbas av depressioner samt identitetens betydelse. Slutsatsen av denna uppsats är att också killar drabbas av depressioner men att det visar sig på andra sätt, till exempel som aggressivitet. De tar inte heller kontakt med vården på samma sätt som tjejer, och av denna anledning blir det fler tjejer numerärt inom psykiatrin och det bör också vara därför som tjejer förskrivs mer antidepressiva läkemedel. För några år sedan lanserades ett nytt preparat som var mer lämpade för barn och ungdomar.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vad stress innebär, hur det upplevs och orsakas inom Räddningstjänsten, samt hur det kan förebyggas. Enkäten gjordes utifrån ett kvantitativt perspektiv och skickades till larmoperatörer och brandmän på Räddningstjänsten. Enkäten besvarades av totalt 33 respondenter. Deltagarnas ålder togs inte i beaktning, enbart antalet år av yrkeserfarenhet. Datan analyserades I SPSS, med hjälp av ett Chi-tvåtest och ett Pearsons's r-test.

This study was conducted by using a qualitative textual analysis on UNICEF Sweden?s website with the purpose of problematizing the role of UNICEF Sweden in today?s globalised society. This was done in the context of how organisations of civil society have gained influence. Following questions were answered: How does UNICEF Sweden legitimise its operation? Which strategies does UNICEF Sweden use to encourage involvement and donations?The study shows how UNICEF Sweden legitimises its work by promoting a unique influence, their unique methods of work and by showing how the organisation helps the most disadvantaged children.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine posts on bookblogs about the book, Cirkeln by Mats Strandberg and Sara Bergmark Elfgren and see how it has distributed amongst readers through social media and reader response. We want through this examine whether bookblogs have a place in the literary society, and in such cases, how this may take place. The Swedish Online bookshops Adlibris and Bokus is being used to find the blogposts to be examined in this thesis. The analysis is being implemented using content analysis and constructed encoding schemes. Interdisciplinary topics, like LIS and sociology of literature may have similar points of contact, which we want to highlight with this thesis.

The myth of the user - a study of the user discourse and its visionariesThis study is a discourse analysis of the visions that implicitly are expressed in different texts about user-centered library theory. Several other studies have analyzed the discourse and conceptualization of how the user is expressed in the library debate. Therefore we have chosen to analyze the visions that are expressed by three different sources: the evaluation of the Swedish GÖK project, which was an reorganization of three different libraries in Sweden (Greenhalgh, Worpole & Landry 1995). Friårreformen genomfördes i hela Sverige vid årsskiftet 2004/05 med två huvudsyften, att underlätta för arbetslösa att komma in på arbetsmarknaden och att erbjuda arbetstagare möjlighet till ledighet. Reformen har väckt stort intresse, hos arbetstagare och i media. Många artiklar har skrivits om de positiva effekterna men även negativa sidor har lyfts fram. Syftet med denna uppsats är att försöka uppnå en förståelse för de motiv och övervägande som ligger bakom valet att ta ut friår sett ur ett arbetstagarperspektiv. Syftet är också att i viss mån ställa detta mot arbetsgivarens syn på friårsledighet.

The purpose of this thesis was to study descriptions of companies on their webpages on the Internet. This was performed from a socialconstructionist point of view with focus being on subject positionings and gender. A critical discourse analysis was carried out on two texts from the webpages of two organizations on the Internet. Using the three dimensional model for critical discourse analysis by Fairclough, the discourses and subject positionings that the texts included could be revealed. The purpose of this thesis was also to point out the importance of the use of language in recruiting personnel and to hopefully encourage organizations to put effort into text production to avoid discrimination.

När en ungdom misstänks för att ha begått ett brott kommer han eller hon i kontakt med rättssystemet på olika vis. Rättsystemets uppgift i detta sammanhang är givetvis att skipa rätt. Vidare är dess uppgift även att hjälpa den unge tillrätta i samhället igen.Min avsikt med arbetet är därför att ge en bild av hur ungdomsbrottslingar behandlas i rättssalen av de olika aktörerna för att se huruvida behandlingen kan sägas överensstämma med den allmänna, common sense, uppfattningen om hur ungdomsbrottslingar ska behandlas och om denna behandling överensstämmer med lagstiftarens intentioner. Jag ämnar också beröra hur aktörerna kan sägas känneteckna och klassificera ungdomsbrottslingen och lägga upp sitt arbete i behandlingen. I detta sammanhang blir det speciellt intressant att se om de följer några givna mönster inom rättsväsendet som kan ses som meningsfulla för samtliga aktörer.

The aim of this master thesis is to examine readers? advice in weblogs - frequently modified web pages with a series of archived entries. We have chosen to study a specific kind of entry that contains information about a book of fiction- not for children and young adults - and the bloggers? comments regarding that same book. The entries are published in ten weblogs that all deal with literature and reading.

The following study was undertaken in the spring of 2005 in Helsingborg, Sweden.It presents a study of the experience and values six young couples have related to parenting and gender equality. Twelwe people, six women and six men, were interviewed about the above mentioned topics related to their new found role as parents. How did these women and men choose to assign or elaborate their role as parents in terms of household chores and parental leave? Did they consider their parenthood to be equal or did they feel that their role as parents had already been assigned based on their gender? What were the decisive factors, if any, that determined their parenting roles?Although this study is relatively limited, the results are compatible with other published studies and indicate that young parents of today, without consideration to their gender, have a traditional view on parenting. The study also indicates that the attitudes seem to be established by traditional values, norms as well as sexualgender.

In today?s´ multicultural society increasing numbers of school librarians are faced with a relatively new target group of pupils. This group is linguistically less homogenous than previously and this requires modern adaptations of pedagogic methods.Information literacy and reading promotion are two important topics that school librarians work with. Information literacy is essential for problem based tuition and to increase it requires a well developed language. This study is focusing of the school librarians work with reading promotions.

Facebook har öppnat upp för ett helt nytt sätt att kommunicera, och de flesta har en åsikt om det, om de använder sig av Facebook eller inte. Olika personer använder Facebook på olika sätt. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur informanterna upplever att användandet av Facebook påverkar dem i deras vardag. För att uppnå syftet användes metoderna deltagande observation och kvalitativ intervju med sex Facebook - användare. Vid observationerna studeras vad informanterna faktiskt gör på Facebook, medan de i intervjuerna får möjlighet att berätta hur de själva påverkas av Facebook. Resultatet visar att informanterna hade någon form av hatkärlek till Facebook som gör att de både irriterade sig på det samtidigt som de inte kan hålla sig ifrån sidan, vilket är en av studiens viktigaste slutsatser.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka samtalet om sexuella handlingar mellan män i muslimska traditioner och försöka se vad dessa handlingar betyder, socialt, religiöst och kulturellt, samt var de står i relation till allmänna normativa värderingar som grundar sig i familjeliv och andra sociala konstruktioner.Ambitionen är att jämföra kristen borgerlig kultur som ligger till grund för Foucault's resonemang om makt och sexualitet med muslimsk religiö's kultur. Kan man hitta kopplingar mellan kulturella yttringar, religiositet och dessa sexuella handlingar? Är dessa sexuella beteenden bundna till en vis's kultur? Och vad är det då i kulturen som bidrar till dessa uppfattningar om sexuella uttryck och handlingar. Finn's det sociala mönster i form av patriarkala strukturer som påverkar dessa handlingar's uttryck och påverkar i såfall de patriarkala mönstren till att sexualitet mellan män blir till ett maktuttryck?(utdrag ur uppsatsen's "Syfte och frågeställning").

The aim of this thesis is to map the research area of scientific collaboration within Library and Information Science LIS. The purpose is to find out who is doing research in this area, who they cite and if they get cited by other scientists outside of LIS. Scientific collaboration is an interdisciplinary research area with researchers from different disciplines such as LIS, human-computer interaction, psychology and sociology. We have concentrated our study to North America, Ireland, Great Britain and Scandinavia. In order to find researchers, we visited the websites of all universities with library and information science faculties in the chosen countries.
