The purpose with this essay is to study if the exhibition, Maria-Drömmen om kvinnan has a gender perspective and if it contributes to the history of art. The study shows what kind of women the exhibition illustrates and what kind of perspective it has. By telling about the black Madonna I also show that there is another representation of the middle age women in the Roman Catholic Church at this time that the exhibition not have included. The study is also going to illustrate the difference between a genderperspektiv in art and a women?s perspective.

The aim of this study is to make a comparative study between the grievances during the Dacke Warand the German Peasant´s War. These two conflicts may have occurred separately, regarding bothgeographical and chronological distances but also share common issues for this comparative study.Less than two decades separates these two conflicts and they were all by their own serious insurrectionsduring their time. While the German Peasant´s War was the greatest uprising in Europe up tothe French Revolution, the Dacke War was the biggest Peasant Rebellion in Scandinavian history.While the German Peasant War has been studied and researched by historians for a relative longtime, the Dacke War has been neglected in research history. If it were not for the Swedish professorLars-Olof Larsson?s studies during foremost in the 1960s, the Dacke War would have been a historicallyuncharted territory of research indeed.

This degree project summarizes five years of education at the landscape architecture program at the Swedish University of Agriculture Sciences, SLU, Alnarp and the School of architecture at Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, Stockholm. The project has been carried out by Lovisa Berg and Per Crona in collaboration with DRIFT Scenkonst. This master project is based on the ongoing transformation of a former mining site in Ställberg, Bergslagen situated in central Sweden. The organization DRIFT is in the process of recreating to former industrial mining site as a green cultural center. Their field of artistic examination concerns existential questions connected to the site. The aim is to offer a place for both performing and experiencing contemporary performing arts in Bergslagen. Our objective is to contribute to the growth of the performing arts project and to demonstrate in concrete terms how a conversion of a mining area can be completed, while taking into account both its history and its new function.

I detta examensarbete presenteras olika inriktningar av musikterapi och FMT-metoden (Funktionsinriktad musikterapi) belyses ingående. Här beskrivs arbetssätt och arbetsmaterialet nämns. Ett historiskt perspektiv ges både på människor med funktionshinder genom tiderna och på musikterapins utveckling i världen och i Sverige. Olika musikterapidiscipliner presenteras liksom befintliga utbildningsmöjligheter. Två elever/adepter presenteras och terapin med dessa beskrivs detaljerat. Arbetet tar upp frågan om FMT-metoden måste ändras eller justeras för att kunna användas i terapin med en synskadad person? This report is a commission from the Care Unit of Hässleholm municipal. The purpose is to illuminate what is distinguish for contact persons at sheltered housing in the Municipal of Hässleholm? It contains three questions at issue. What are the expectations of the contact men? What information is given? How is communication between the professional categories working out?The report also contains a background with a brief Swedish history in care of older people.

At the time of the study, there is no law to prevent an employer from doing criminal background checks. Employers for School and childcare have to do criminal background checks before hiring but the background checks have increased significantly in other industries as well. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and explain what interest employers may have in jobseekers history and how it can affect people?s privacy. To do this I have used right dogmatic approach combined with four interviews with different employers to get their perspective on the subject.

Jag hade flera förslag på experiment när jag började kursen, varav tillverkandet av filar var ett av dem. Jag är intresserad av medeltida träarbete, och av verktygen som detta gjordes med, och egentligen av verktyg i allmänhet. Jag har en dröm om att återskapa en så komplett medeltida verktygslåda som möjligt, och detta har lett till att jag funderat en hel del över hur man tillverkar olika verktyg. Inför experimentkursen funderade jag över att tillverka, hyvlar, spånhyvlar, borrar, navare, bandknivar, och filar. Det som verkade mest utmanande, men också svårast (egentligen omöjligt) var filarna, för de andra verktygen visste jag hur de tillverkades, och användes.

This essay is about the history of the hearing aid in Sweden, from 1930s until today. The hearing aid as an apparatus is described, and views by the users are presented. Articles and interviews have been used as source material to answer the main questions. In the essay, people who have written the articles, and the ten users being interviewed, describe how hearing aids are used in everyday life, and how users interact with people in general and how the hearing care system treats users. Another question regards how users perceive their own hearing aids from an aesthetic perspective.

Study objects: Three different productions companies which the authors have chosen to be anonymous. Purpose: The purpose with this study is to examine why production companies choose to use 3D-animations in television commercials, and what different kind of aspects affects their decisions. Theoretical: The theoretical chapter reviews the history of 3D-animation andtelevision commercials and other fields that will be relevant laterin the analysis and discussion. Method: A case study has been made on three different companies, two of the companies are active in post-production and the other one is active in the consulting area. Data was collected through semistructured interviews with two of the companies.

Dikterna "Självbiografi" och "Partitur" kan ses som ett bidrag till 60-talets seenderelativistiska litterära debatt, genom att de visar hur ett liv som är präglat av 'osynlighet' och oförstående kan uppfattas som ett "döden-i-livet"-tillstånd. Men de visar även hur man genom dialog kan åstadkomma en förändring. I "Självbiografi" synliggörs två dialoger. En inre dialog i form av minnets cirkularitet mellan nu och då och en yttre mellanmänsklig dialog som blir synlig genom diktjagets replik. I dessa dialogers möte formas en kritik mot patriarkatets selektiva seende, i såväl den litterära traditionen som den samtida seenderelativistiska litterära debatten. Kritiken kommer till uttryck i potatismetaforen och visar att en ohälsosam yttre miljö påverkar det inre och gör att en 'osynlig' människa, bildligt talat, ruttnar bort.

This essay is focused on the questions of and responsibility for where, when, how and why communication and meetings through archaeology should take place. I have critically studied Swedish public archaeology through three diverse archaeological excava­tions, one took place in the end of the 1980s, and two others in 2012.I have asked for under what circum­stances and with which goals the public efforts become possible. I have inter­viewed leaders for the archaeological excavations and/or the public efforts and questi­o­ned how and why they reached out to the public. I also searched for results and effects in order to problematize and value the public activities.Through interpretation of the resear­ched material it becomes clear that economic issues as well as archaeo­logists interests and engagements are of vital importance for public archaeology. One of the most well-known trials in history is the one in Nürnberg, Germany, soon after the end of World War II. It is understandable that this caused a lot of discussions and that it was a world known trial which set the standards for a lot of similar occasions later on. The aim of this research is to focus on the opinions about this trial from a perspective of well-known Swedish newspapers. The method is to analyse three big papers with different political views and to see what separated them and what maybe united them. By studying the master-pages of the newspapers a picture is given of how the contemporary time had an understanding for the trial reports, which we in our time have established as facts.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att med utgångspunkt från en teoretisk diskussion ochgenom en kvantitativ metod undersöka huruvida användning av en offensiv taktik betingarsannolikheten för seger vid sjöslag. Uppsatsen har därvidlag undersökt 44 sjöslag frånLepanto 1571 till och med Falkland 1982. Den statistiska analysen visar ett positivt sambandmellan offensiv taktik och sannolikheten för seger.

The purpose of this essay was to overview the conflicts regarding the exhibition space (Kunsthalle) Tensta Konsthall during 2003 and 2004, in order to gain an understanding of the following: why the conflict started, if anyone exceeded their authority, how the case has been reviewed in the press, what kind of value judgements lay behind the actions and why this case has received so much attention. By studying mainly press material and political documents it has been made clear that Tensta Konsthall?s location in an ill reputed suburb of Stockholm has been the cause for its exposure to different demands and expectations compared to other similar exhibition spaces. Further the essay deals with questions raised by the conflict in the intersection of culture and politics..

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka om det finns vikingatida musikinstrument eller ljudredskap i materialet från Järrestad, Uppåkra eller Löddeköpinge, vilket innebär att jag utifrån bestämda kriterier undersökte fyndmaterial från Järrestad och Uppåkra, Cajsa S. Lund har undersökt Löddeköpingematerialet. Resultaten visade att bjällror, en del av en klocka, en del av en stämnyckel till lyra, förarbete till spaltflöjt, kantflöjt, möjlig lockpipa, bensnurror i olika former funnits på någon eller några av platserna. De tre platserna har alla varit betydande under vikingatiden och skulle mycket väl ha kunnat tillverka alla av de nämnda musikinstrumenten eller ljudredskapen, eller ha kommit i kontakt med dem genom det kontaktnät de hade med omgivningen och andra länder..
