AimThe aim of the study was to develop a method for the survey of play movement demands and temporal patterns in order to enable a descriptive study of the defensive players in American Football. The overall aim was to  improve the understanding of how American Football is played to create opportunities for enhancement of current or developing new training methods to better suit football.MethodFifty plays from a Division 3 college football game on video from 2005 was divided into sequences of action for one player each from the defensive line, linebackers and defensive backs and analyzed with the video analyzing software cSwing. Every players sequence of action was recorded in a spreadsheet and noted on a scaled football field where distances were measured and together with time stamps from cSwing velocity was calculated.ResultsUsing this method it was possible to describe the play movement demands and temporal patterns which was the main task of the study. The defensive end worked on an average 4.61 seconds per play, the distance was 12.4 meters and average speed 2.5 m×s-1. The linebacker worked on an average 4.35 s per play, 13.7 m and at a mean speed of 3.0 m×s-1.

The present study deals with task-oriented conversations between a person with hearing loss and a relative or friend. The purpose was to investigate how the participants in the task-oriented context co-construct understanding, and to focus on different kind of repair strategies that the participants may use to make the hearing loss relevant in the conversation. The method used was Conversation Analysis (CA). The material consisted of eight videotaped task-oriented conversations between a person with hearing loss and their significant other. Altogether eight persons participated in the study ? four of them had a hearing loss and the other four had normal hearing.

Many times it can be the simple things that affect the attitude of work and which have an importance on the organization's effectiveness. These are not always apparent but can have a large importance for the motivation and the attitude of work. Large number of companies uses wage and other financial rewards system but is there any form of informal factors that have an importance for the coworkers and that affects motivation. What factors that affect the motivation within the industry are interesting to examine and specifically the factors that are not apparent, in other words informal factors that increases the motivation. The purpose of this thesis is to examine and describe which informal motivator factors co-workers/employees in a production department think are meaningful.

Background: In 2001 the European Commission presented legislation to require use of IASB standards named IAS/IFRS for all listed parent companies within the EU no later than 2005, to improve an internal market for financial services within the EU. This harmonisation of the accounting regulations answers to the social development of today with land-frontiers easier to cross, increased demands on an open financial market and the companies searching for risk capital outside the boundaries of the own country. International comparisons within accounting have consequently become more of current interest and necessary. When the requirement to use the IASB standards only is intended for the group accounting the remaining question is according to which regulations the parent companies will set up their annual financial reports. In Statens Offentliga Utredningar 2003:71(Swedish Government Official Reports) the parent companies are suggested to be given an opportunity to apply IAS/IFRS also in the annual financial report.

Köpesamhället har under det senaste århundradet genomgått stora förändringar vilket också återspeglas i köprätten. 1905 års köplag var sträng mot säljaren i dennes ansvar och bevisbörda något som kanske var förståeligt mot bakgrund av att lagen även reglerade konsumentköp. 1976 kom ett förslag till en ny köplag som syftade till att mildra säljarens bevisbörda, något som redan skett i övriga nordiska länder. Den nya köplagen skulle istället för den äldre köplagens omöjlighetslära bygga på force majeure. Under denna tid var även en FN-konvention angående internationella köp under utarbetande.

Today, pigs are moved on farm, between farms, between countries and to abattoirs. This movement of live pigs requires handling practices that are designed for the purpose. The objective of this study was to research the use of paddle in moving pigs, to investigate if there were different methods of paddle practice, explore the time efficiency of different kinds of paddle use and if there were any time variations in methods that varied in intensity of touch. This study was done on two Swedish abattoirs for a total of five weeks. A total of 22 transporters working at two different abattoirs where studied during unloading of pigs at the abattoirs.

AbstractThe Municipality Council decided in 2010 to develop a comprehensive energy efficiency strategy with financial and methodological support from Energimyndigheten (The Swedish Energy Agency). The strategy should include 3 major parts: an inventory of the 2009 energy use defining the current situation, the 2014 and 2020 goals for energy use, and an action plan for goal achievements. According to Energimyndigheten, the strategy must include all municipal administration premises, vehicles, and all majority-owned companies (as Laholmshem, the municipal housing company).The report describes the inventory work in order to obtain the 2009 energy use and the sources of information used. The inventory values are used as the base year values for the 2014 and 2020 goals. The inventory showed that information about the vehicles is dispersed in the municipal administration and no clear structure exists with respect to mileage and fuels used.

Syfte: Att skapa förståelse för hur situationen på en marknad kan påverka den finansiella stabiliteten. Med det som grund göra en samlad bedömning om vilka risker som finns på Sveriges bostadsmarknad för att utvärdera hur och om de kan påverka finansiell stabilitet idag.Metod: För att ge oss en ökad förståelse om hur finansiell instabilitet uppstår på en marknad har vi tagit hjälp av Hyman P. Minskys teoretiska modell ?The Financial Instability Hypothesis?. Teorin har vi sedan applicerat på utvalda finansiella kriser för att studera vad som karaktäriserat dem i sin utformning.

Dr. Robert A. Pape gav 1996 ut sin bok Bombing to Win ? Airpower and Coercion in War där han presenterar sin teori om hur luftmakt bäst ska användas för att påtvinga sin vilja över en motståndares. Genom empiriska studier argumenterar han för att strategisk bombning inte fungerar utan luftstridskrafterna ska istället användas till att bekämpa fiendens militära strategi.Detta självständiga arbete presenterar kärnan ur Pape's teori, samt tar ut tre centrala kriterier som verkar sammanfattande för teorin och undersöker sedan om det går att urskilja dessa inom Nato's nyttjandet av luftmakt under Operation Deliberate Force i Bosnien 1995.

This essay is about literature instruction in the last three years of Sweden?s compulsory school from one teacher?s and six of his pupils? perspective. The research is analysed from a socio-cultural perspective on learning and literature reception.The empiric material is based on interviews with the teacher and six of his students.The research shows that there is a difference between what the pupils read on their spare time and what they read during Swedish instruction. It also shows that the pupils wants literature full of action where descriptions of people and the setting don?t slow down the reading experience.The teacher is successful in finding literature the pupils appreciate but sees the value of literature on another level ? in the processing of the reading experience.

Uppsatsen ställer frågan om teorin d.v.s. nu gällande doktriner stämmer överens med verklighetenoch i fall de inte stämmer överens ? vad skiljer de åt? Inledningsvis görs en kort tillbakablick överhur samverkan mellan US Army och US Air Force har genomförts sedan andra världskriget. Uppsatsensfallstudie omfattar de båda försvarsgrenarnas samverkan och syn på Airpower under Irakkriget2003. Uppsatsen avslutas med en diskussion rörande den svenska försvarsmaktens möjligheteroch förmåga när det gäller integrering av markstridskrafter och flygstridskrafter.Frågeställningar som besvaras är:? Existerar det doktrinära avvikelser mellan US Air Force och US Army vad gäller synen påAirpower och dess tillämpning?? Finns det skillnader mellan rådande doktriner och hur samverkan mellan luft- och markstridskrafterhar genomförts i en skarp operation?? Hur långt har den amerikanska försvarsmakten kommit inom luft-markintegrationen?? Finns det andra faktorer som styr uppträdandet än doktriner?? Vilka slutsatser från studien kan den svenska försvarsmakten ha nytta av i sin utvecklinginom området luft-markintegration?Slutsatsen är att det fortfarande existerar skillnader mellan US Army och US Air Force såväl ideras doktriner som i deras tillämpning under krig.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how companies that sell financial services can reach people in the younger audience. The financial services that we refer to are regarding banking and insurance for private users, and with the younger audience we refer to people in the age of 18 to 25. We think that this is a valid and interesting issue to study because of the common thoughts that persons in this age are common users of Internet, social medias and new technology. The main question through our study has been; ?How a financial company can attract the younger generation, and support their creation of value?" Our research is based on a qualitative method.

Det här examensarbetet undersöker om ett anatomiskt system framtaget för att kategorisera ansiktsrörelser inom psykologisk forskning kan anpassas på en ansiktsrigg för att effektivare kunna framställa ansiktsanimation för datorspel. Rapporten beskriver varför Facial Action Coding System skapades, hur det används samt tar upp olika sammanhang som systemet tidigare använts för. Rapporten beskriver det praktiska arbetet för att konstruera en ansiktsrigg ämnat för datorspel och diskuterar skillnader mellan att rigga för datorspel och film. Examensarbetet beskriver klassiska användbarhetsprinciper och vad man bör tänka på när produkten skall bli så användningsbar som möjligt. Ett animationsverktyg baserat på FACS och de ?Action Units? som systemet innehåller har tagits fram för att genomföra undersökningen på animatörerna från min praktikplats på Starbreeze Studios AB.

Since the financial crisis of 2007, the global financial market has been characterized by instability. At the same time the banks? lending rates and its link to the reporänta have been in the spotlight in various debates in the media. The government with Anders Borg leading the charge has criticized the banks for not lowering their lending rates when the reporänta has been lowered. The banks defend themselves by saying that the reporänta does not have a direct link to their lending rates anymore.

Background: The last few years a globalization of the capital market has occurred. This have led to that it is more important for the companies that their financial information can be compared with other companies in order to compete on same grounds. In order to fa-cilitate for the companies within EU to compete with other companies and in order to strive for an internal market EU decided that IFRS should be used by all listed companies within the union.Problem: In 2006 the first financial reports according to IFRS will be published, and then it will be interesting to investigate how the companies have chosen to communicate the transition to its stakeholders. According to IFRS some information is compulsive but the companies have chosen to disclose voluntary information to a different degree.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe to what extent the Swedish listed com-panies have reported the transition to IFRS in their consolidated financial statements.Method: In this essay a quantitative method have been chosen in order to find general re-lations. The data collection is done with help of an evaluation model that have been devel-oped for this study.
