The essay explores nationalism in the curriculum of the swedish school from 1878 to 1994. The text has been undertaken an analysis in three levels of discourse based on Norman Faircloughs critical language analysis. The first level is the text, the second is types of discourses and the third is order of discourse.The nationalism in the curriculum has been related to three nationalistic types of discourses, derived from earlier studies on Swedish nationalism. They are conservative nationalism, ?folkhemsnationalism? and contemporary nationalism.

Denna läroboksanalys är en studie med syfte att undersöka hur stormaktstidens människor skildras i svenska historieläroböcker för mellanstadiet. Detta för att öka medvetenheten kring vad text och bild ger för information om de människor som levde under denna epok i Sverige. Metoden som använts är en kritisk diskursanalys eftersom den lämpar sig väl för att upptäcka eventuella maktstrukturer baserat på texters språkliga uttryck. I den kvalitativa analysen ingår 8 böcker som riktar sig till mellanstadieelever och de kapitel som behandlats är de som berör tiden mellan 1611 och 1718. De böcker som analyserats visar i både text och bild att stormaktstiden i Sverige anses vara en viktig epok i svensk historieskrivning.

Jag har valt ut 12 st. av de bostadsprojekt som jag arbetat med under de senaste tjugo åren. För dessa projekt gäller att jag som arkitekt har haft ett huvudansvar för hela projektet eller delar av det. Jag inleder min text med reflektioner kring några aspekter som styrt mitt arbete och som gäller för alla de 12 projekten. Jag avslutar med en kort beskrivning av de valda projekten, ett för ett.

The main purpose of this study is to analyze texts written by pupils during the national test in the subject Swedish for grade 9 in order to identify and illustrate how they have met the instructions for the writing task including genre. The texts have been analyzed using Palmér & Östlund-Stjärnegårdh?s (2005) model for student text analysis. This model has been supplemented by studying word and sentence length, as well as indexes for level of readability (LIX) and word variation (OVIX) in order to illustrate possible differences in a gender perspective. The results of this study are in line with previous research, as the girls? texts are longer and more descriptive, while the boys? texts are shorter and show a wider range of word variation.

En undersökning genomförd av Statskontoret, 2005, visar att webbanvändare har önskemål om att lättare hitta information på offentlig sektors webbplatser. Den här uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur kommunala webbplatser kan förbättras så att användarna lättare kan hitta den information de söker. Enligt teorier hämtade från området för webbdesign och användbarhet påverkar aspekterna struktur, navigation, design samt text och etikettering möjligheten att hitta på webbplatser. En studie av nio kommunala webbplatser visar att de förevisade teorierna efterföljs i viss mån och i olika utsträckning av de olika kommunerna. Främst förekommer brister inom områdena struktur samt text och etikettering.

In the Swedish school library discussion, the most prominent role of the school library haslong been that of cultural centre in the school, with the main goal being to encourage children'sreading. During the 90ies there were signs of a shift in focus to the role of information centre,giving active support across the whole range of the curriculum, in the independent researchingwork of the students. At the same time severe budget cuts caused great worries for the future.The interest for the school library media centres increased during this time, many differentorganizations said they wanted to fight for better school libraries. The purpose of the presentwork was to find out who they are, what they want and what their ideal school library lookslike. Fourteen organizations were studied, focus was on activities during 1995.

The aim with this study is to conduct a text analysis of 40 texts from www.skrivbanken.se . The texts were written by fifteen year old boys and girls in the school subject Swedish. The texts were analyzed from a gender perspective. The differences in contents, the use of concepts, attitudes towards the imposed information and formality were examined.. The theoretical background on expectations on gender roles was used to construct a framework for analyzing the text. The result shows that there were more differences between the individuals in every sex group rather than between the two groups.

All textbaserad kommunikation lider dock av en gemensamsvaghet, att det är svårt att förmedla icke-verbala signaler med ord. The purpose of this study was to investigate what knowledge 16 year old highschool students have when it comes to text- and imageposting on social media and how they act on the basis of their skills and attitudes on text and image publishing. An important aspect of this was to investigate the impact of young people 's identity in relation to text- and image posting on social media as this according to research is a big part of what motivates young people in their everyday practices (Buckingham, 2008). The essay questions was , What is young people?s experience on posting text- and image on social media? How aware are young people at the pros and cons on posting text and images on social media? What are young people's attitudes about text and image posting? And how do young people act on the basis of experience , awareness and attitude? Which role plays identity in their actions? To seek answers to my questions and achieve the aim of the thesis was conducted three semi-structured focusgroup interviews in collaboration with two high schools. The results have been reported, interpreted and analyzed by pattern-seeking. The theoretical framework used in this paper is the research and theories of primarily media researchers who have distinguished themselves in the Media and Youth research, For example, Ulla Carlsson, David Buckingham, Sonia Livingstone and Kristen Drotner.
