There is a contradiction between not wanting to be alone, craving for fellowship, but still not wanting to socialize with just anybody. The purpose with this paper is to inquire into individuals experiences of loneliness and of fellowship, as well as the tension between individual/ and social needs. The empirical material consists of five semistrucured interviews with a mix of individuals with one common factor; they were all frequently visited the meeting/place Nyfiket in Helsingborg during the summer 2011. The result were interpreted on the basis of E.Goffmans theory concerning the inevitable role-playing in everyday life, E.Fromms discussion about individuals ongoing espace towards- or away from things in life. Detta examensarbete behandlar slamhanteringen på Sibbhults avloppsreningsverk (Sarv).I denna rapport tas det upp hur avvattningen och förtjockningen av slammet går till i dagsläget och vilka förändringar som kan göras för att förbättra dessa processer.Här visas även vilka eventuella vinster som kan fås med förändringar och eventuella investeringar i en avvattningsapplikation. Redan med små medel kan förtjockningen av slammet förändras, även om det inte införskaffas en mekanisk avvattnare, som t ex med inblandning av polymerer i avloppsvattnet.För att finna olika fungerande alternativ har information insamlats från flera företag som tillhandahåller applikationer för slamavvattnare. Information har även införskaffats genom egen erfarenhet under min verksamhetsförlagda utbildnings (VFU) period på SArv, och vid diskussion med personal som arbetar vid vatten- och avloppsreningsverken i Östra Göinge kommun..

Mosquitoes are found in extremely large numbers in the lower parts of the River Dalälven. In the year 2000 the mosquito nuisance was especially high, resulting in foundation of the Biological mosquito control project. Since 2001 mosquito larvae are controlled by using a biological pesticide BTI (Bacillus thuringiensis ssp israelensis). The mosquito fauna in the area is dominated by flood water mosquitoes, a group of mosquitoes that are very aggressive and form new generations of mosquitoes during every single flooding event during the summer. To be able to efficiently control the mosquitoes it is essential to know the extension and locality of the flooding.

Due to their complexity and heavy wear from rail traffic, switches are a sensitive part of the railway infrastructure and moreover expensive to maintain. Furthermore, increasing railway traffic not only accelerates the wear rate but also obstructs the necessary maintenance measures. This paper examines the opportunities for a transition to a long-term maintenance strategy in the Swedish railway network. It contains a study of the maintenance strategy of Banverket, and also analyses statistics of errors in the railway infrastructure. The survey was completed utilising interviews with infrastructure managers, maintenance contractors, planners of railway operations and the Banverket material service department.

Samtidigt har asfaltmarknadsbranschens upphandlingsmetoder varit ett diskutabelt ämne runt om i världen.Examensarbetet består av en geografisk prisjämförelse av asfalt och studera de ingående faktorer som påverkar priset. Intervjuer har gjorts med beläggningsentreprenörer från olika företag i Mellan- till Sydsverige. Resultatet påverkas av att reliabiliteten är låg eftersom relativt få aktörer har svarat på frågeformuläret, men visar på kraftiga prisskillnader mellan olika regioner. Totalkostnaden för beläggning, emulsion, bergmaterial, transport, maskin och hantverk skilde nästan 50 % mellan den med lägst och den med högst pris.

This Masters thesis aims at presenting a picture of, and critically examining, the Swedish debate concerning the public library and the future by way of 21 articles in three library periodicals. The questions examined are: -What are the views concerning the future public library in Swedish library press? -What characterizes the debate and why? Theories on political institutions and information society are used and the method is hermeneutic, a type of idea-analysis. The first step in the analysis consists of a categorized presentation of the material. The themes concern the form and content of the library as well as competence and hopes/fears.

The electric vehicle market has potential to contribute to Sweden?s national goal to have a fossil fuel independent transport sector by 2030. However, the market answers to a lot of challenges making it difficult for the market to fully reach its potential. The volume of electric vehicles has seen a steady increase during the last year (2012), although many of these vehicles are mostly for PR purposes or bought by the public sector that wants to lead by example. Still, barriers in the form of high purchase costs, an anxiety for the limited battery capacity and the lack of standardisation are some of the problems that the market is struggling to solve.

It is with scholarship from these that this Website has been possible. The work whit the ?Art school? started in the autumn of 2005 and ended in May 2006 on distance from Stockholm towards Blekinge technology school in Karlshamn.

Caring for the suffering, dying patients and giving support to relatives is probably one of the toughest jobs a nurse can encounter. Palliative caring is, with different measures, the prolonging of life whereas hospice caring is giving patients a meaningful and natural journey toward death. The hospice philosophy is grounded on comfort, communication and peace. The expectation is that patients will have a dignified, peaceful death. The purpose of this study was to describe the nurse's role in palliative care.

Findus Sverige AB, referred to asFindus from now on, harvests peas during a period ofaround 50 days during the summer. The harvest generates about 30 000 tonnes of peas which gives around 40 000 pallets to distribute to the warehouses which Findus uses for final storage. Three hours after the peas are picked in the fields, they have to be frozen to keep their good taste and quality. Because of this the pallets are marked with a preliminary label with quality classification of the content. The Findus quality department then has one day to determine the correct quality of each pallet.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine how some university students, who are using the libraries extensively, use and experience the public and the university library and what they expect from the two different library types. I also compare their expectations with the different tasks and aims of the two library types. To answer this I have interviewed seven students at the department of history of literature at Göteborg University. I have also studied some literature and research related to this subject, for example user studies about students and libraries and the information behaviour of distance students.

Denna rapport gjordes på uppdrag av Räddningstjänsten Östra Skaraborg då de kände ett behov av att ha insatsplaner för olyckor vid transport av farligt gods. Rapporten innebär ett första skede i hur framtagning av insatsplaner ska gå till och hur de ska se ut. Behovet av insatsplaner kommer främst från att de ska verka istället för den erfarenhet som är så svår att få för stora olyckor med farligt gods. Insatsplanen ska vara ett stöd i beslutsfattandet och påminna om viktiga åtgärder. Det finns ingen speciell mall för hur en insatsplan ska se ut, därför har inspiration hämtats från andra räddningstjänster och dokument med hur dess uppbyggnad kan se ut.För att bedöma vilka ämnen som insatsplanerna skulle innehålla och var olycksscenariona skulle utspela sig så gjordes en inventering av det farliga godsflödet i och genom regionen och därefter en sannolikhets- och konsekvensbedömning av detta.

This essay is about Skelleftea church town which is named Bonnstan and refers to the city for farmers. Originally, its mission was to function as temporary residence for long distance travelers of the villages, during weekends intended for religious gatherings. Bonnstan have furthermore periodically and in lesser extent been used as permanently abode for domestic workers. Nowadays the area consists of 114 cottages with nearly 400 chambers.The earliest known documentation of Skelleftea church town's existence is from the 17th century even though it may have its origin from the Middle Ages. These early church cottages burnt down in 1835 and were restored two years after the accident.
