Information about the risks involved shall be distributed to the people living in the area nearby to potentially dangerous installation. Swedish law stipulates strict requirements on what information should be supplied, but the law itself does not give any guidance on presentation. The main purpose of the study is to give recommendations on how to improve the information brochures. Within the study, eight people working with risk information have been interviewed and seven different risk information brochures have been studied. Also, a theoretical analysis and a practical experiment were performed using brochures from two municipalities.

Sweden's contribution to the world today is not labor-intensive industry, it is high technology and know-how. Many of the rules concerning employment security for the workers derived from the industrial era and have been to some extent modified by hand. This paper focuses on the discrepancy between the purpose of the priority rules in Swedish law and how it works in the reality. My opinion is that due to the development of the labor market, a powerful revision of priority rules is needed. In addition to today's job market is knowledge-intensive I point in the paper at a number of factors that contributed to the loosening of the priority rules. Examples of these are the increased incidence of temporary staffing, more open markets and more multinational companies, political will to disadvantaged groups in the labor market should be prepared job and gender issues.

Detta arbete handlade om att undersöka de olika fördelar och nackdelar som kan finnas med att installera frekvensstyrning av sjövattenpumparna på fartyget m/s Finnfellow.Arbetet hade som huvudsyfte att ge den tekniska chefen ombord på fartyget ett underlag för att kunna besluta om en installation av frekvensstyrning var lämplig att genomföra. Det undersöktes mest hur systemen ombord fungerade och hur en frekvensstyrning skulle påverka sjövattensystemet.Resultatet blev att det skulle sparas in ca 122MWh/år i elenergi. Detta gör att man sparar in installationskostnaderna för frekvensstyrningen på under 2 år med ungefärliga bränslekostnader i dagens läge, det ger också en miljöfördel genom att fartyget förbrukar ca 26 ton tjockolja mindre per år.Slutsatsen blev att det skulle vara mycket förmånligt att installera en frekvensstyrning ombord på detta fartyg med gällande system. Det fanns vissa nackdelar t.ex. installationskostnaderna och eventuella EMC-problem, men fördelarna bedöms överväga dessa..

In companies today there is seldom time for evaluation or moderation of a project, in order to have time for evaluation there is a great need for an adequate planning of the project.IntentThe intention with this study is to create a model for planning, budgeting and evaluation of projects within consultancy companies.MethodWith the help of interviews and discussions within the group Hamnar och Byggkonstruktioner at Sweco has evidence to present a proposal on planning, budgeting and monitoring been developed.ResultsA model has been developed to ease for consultancy companies to plan, budget, monitor and evaluate projects.

This thesis deals with the information-seeking behaviour of occupational therapists. Focus was on three different aspects of information-seeking behaviour. The purpose was to investigate how occupational therapists conceive of work-related information needs, their choice and use of formal and informal information sources and their use of the hospital library. Twelve interviews with occupational therapists were conducted at a rehabilitation clinic in a hospital. The theoretical frame consists of a general model of the information-seeking of professionals by Leckie, Pettigrew and Sylvain.

Every human being has the right to the highest attainable standard of health. This is regulated by the UN in the Declaration of Human Rights. However, Swedish legislation discriminate the group of irregular immigrants, regarding the right to health care. Therefore, Paul Hunt, the UN's special rapporteur on the right to health, draws serious critique on Sweden which has caused extensive debate regarding the matter, both in the civil and political sphere of society.Thus, the aim of this essay is through an analysis of the political debate; make visible the norms of citizenship which are dominating the argumentation of the seven parties represented in the Swedish Parliament. An analytical framework, consisting of three dimensions, is therefore used in order to interpret the material which is relevant for the debate.The conclusion is that Moderaterna and Centerpartiet mainly base their arguments on communitarian values, while Kristdemokraterna and Folkpartiet rather show influences of liberal ideas.

Uppdragsgivaren bedriver en ombyggnation av Nyborgskyrkan i Arvidsjaur. Tidigare har kyrkan endast verkat som en EFS (Evangeliska Fosterlands- Stiftelsen) samlingskyrka med möjligheter till daghemsaktiviteter, men i fortsättningen ska fastigheten drivas som ett vandrarhem, lägenhet, utställningslokal och konferenssal, samtidigt som en del av kyrkverksamheten bibehålls. Rapporten behandlar värmebehovet efter ombyggnation och installation av en bergvärmepump med värmeeffekten 16,2 kW, samt de besparingar som genereras av dessa förändringar. I dagsläget täcks värmebehovet av elradiatorer. Det årliga energibehovet för fastigheten, beräknat med bergvärmepumpen installerad, blir cirka 35,2 MWh, vilket är en minskning på 51,5 MWh efter installationen.

This essay revolves around the organization Mobile Art Production, MAP, and their artexhibition Street View shown on Kungsportsavenyn, Gothenburg two weeks in April 2010. Beingan alternative to traditional art institutions, MAP sets out goals for their activities and the aim ofthe essay is to examine whether the main goals of the organization were fulfilled through theexhibition. Examensarbetet är utfört hos YIT Sverige AB som är ledande i Sverige inom installation och service av fastighetstekniska tjänster. YIT erbjuder sina tjänster även i Baltikum, Ryssland och Centraleuropa.YIT erbjöd oss att uppdatera och slutföra en planritning och ett huvudlinjeschema över en byggnad. De ritningar som fanns sedan innan var flera decennier gamla och inte kompletta, detta eftersom fastigheten genomgått flera ombyggnader, där flera centraler och canalis kanalskenor inte var utmärkta. Det fattades även flera lokaler utmärkta i ritningarna.Arbetet har utförts som planerat och bidragit till att kunden mottagit ritningar som erhåller en ny och uppdaterad standard. Att jämföra med den standard ritningarna höll innan arbetet går det nu att utföra underhåll med hjälp av ritningarna på ett snabbare och effektivare sätt..

This thesis describes a method of measuring axial magnetic leakage flux in an operational hydropower generator. Axial magnetic leakage flux is the magnetic flux at the ends of a rotating generator, which goes through the stator parallel to the rotor axis. This flux can cause circulating currents in the stator iron, giving rise to losses, and can in the worst case overheat a generator, causing it to melt down. To measure the axial flux, and how it affects the generator temperature, a measurement system was constructed on behalf of Vattenfall. The system consists of search coil sensors and a signal-processing unit with amplifiers and active filtering.  To confirm the behaviour of the axial leakage flux and the functionality of the measurement system, a test installation was made.

Leading scholars within structural realism sees this stage as just a temporary condition for various reasons. They also target China as aspirant to embody the role of a balancer against USA and pole in a bi- or multipolar system. Some even argue they are destined for superpower.With the help of realisms definition of power I estimate U.S., China's and India's capabilities and judge their potential superpower. I then go on to connect structural realism and role theory to estimate their different statuses in the system.

Det saknas en beskrivning i den svenska grammatiken över hur adjektiv förstärks med hjälp av förled. Forskning visar att fenomenet med förstärkningar, även kallade intensifierare, uppmärksammats mer i andra språk. Syftet med denna undersökning var att beskriva och kartlägga användandet av förledsförstärkningar, samt se om det fanns några hittills oskrivna regler och mönster. Här gjordes en kvantitativ undersöking där frågeställningarna analyserades utifrån statistiska data insamlade ur två korpusar bestående av bloggtext. Adjektiv inom sinnelag, stabila egenskaper, och sinnesstäming, temporära egenskaper, samt parametrarna positiva och negativa adjektiv undersöktes.

Allt sedan internet gjorde sitt intåg i världens hem har tjänsterna blivit alltmer resurskrävande. Denna utveckling kommer att fortsätta. Trådbundna abonnenter har gått från att surfa via långsamma modem till att behöva höghastighetsbredband. Abonnenter som valt mobilt bredband som anslutningsteknik har ökat lavinartat. Dessvärre kommer inte den mobila tekniken att leva upp till framtidens allt större krav på bandbredd eftersom anslutningen är för okontinuerlig för tyngre streamade tjänster.
