This report is a description of a developed educational simulator over rail vehicles and its components. The simulator is a hardware-based prototype over a door system on rail vehi- cles. System specialists and technicians will use the prototype. The Simulator should give the user a technical demonstration on how components work in a door system. The proto- type consists of motor, switch, relay and sensor.

Problemställning: Det existerar idag en betydande forskning som berör digitala system för kunskapsöverföring. Emellertid ser vi en tydlig brist i forskningen kring användandet av de olika systemen. Detta beror till stor del på problemet med att kunna mäta att en medarbetare verkligen använder systemet för kunskapsöverföring. Genom att studera kunskapsutbytet i organisationerna hade det varit möjligt att kartlägga de områden som påverkar användningen av digitala system för kunskapsöverföring. Frågeställning: Vilka faktorer påverkar användningen av digitala system för kunskapsöverföring? Syfte: Syftet är att skapa en modell som visar de faktorer som påverkar användningen av digitala system för kunskapsöverföring, samt att genomföra en första prövning av modellens giltighet genom en studie av tre företag.

Kraven på dagens trådlösa förbindelser kommer hela tiden att öka och med detta följer även högre krav på nya produkter som kan tillgodose de ökade kraven. För att göra processen från idé till produkt snabbare krävs enkla verktyg för att snabbt kunna gå från den formulerade standarden till en hårdvaruprototyp. Detta arbete har använt sig av ett av dessa verktyg som idag finns tillgängliga, Xilinx System Generator for DSP 1.1, för att ta fram sändare och mottagare för en del av den trådlösa standarden IEEE 802.11a. Arbetet ger en beskrivning av hur sändare och mottagare är uppbyggda samt även synpunkter på System Generator och beskrivningar av problem som uppstod under arbetet.

Deontic Action Logic Multi Agent System (DALMAS) är en typ avmultiagentsystem där agenternas handlingar regleras av ett normativt system. Teorinför DALMAS bygger på deontisk logik, och normer i det normativa systemetuttrycks i termer av Kanger-Lindahls teori om normativa positioner. Syftet meddetta arbete är att försöka reda ut vilka eventuella fördelar ett normativt system kange samt hur man ska kunna skapa effektivt sådant. Går det att skapa ett normsystemsom kan lösa samma problem som ett konventionellt MAS löser? För att kunnajämföra de olika normsystemen har kriterier för hög effektivitet tagits fram.Testresultaten visar bl.a.

Migration mellan system används oftast när ett system har blivit föråldrat och då det märks att det inte längre är lika effektivt gentemot nyfunnen teknik. Då är det därför intressant att använda sig av migration, när det är av intresse att skapa ett nyare system utifrån det gamla. Detta arbete går igenom och löser problem vilka uppstått när en migration mellan ett dokumenthanteringssystem till en webbapplikation görs. Men fokuseringen har riktats mot att hitta den bästa migrations och övergångsmetoden för att kunna skapa en bra, enkel och effektiv migration mellan ett dokumenthanteringssystem till en webbapplikation.

Denna uppsats har utgått från en tidigare studie genomförd på ett amerikanskt universitet, där de använder skillnaden mellan den förväntade och den upplevda upplevelsen för att undersöka vilka faktorer som är viktiga för en student. I denna uppsats har vi gått vidare där de slutade och kommer att specificera med ett mindre antal faktorer. I denna uppsats är forskningsfrågan: Vilka faktorer hos universitet har effekt på kundnöjdheten bland studenter? Frågan svaras med hjälp av en enkätstudie genomförd av studenter på Luleå tekniska universitet. Enkätstudien som genomförts mäter gapet mellan förväntad och upplevd upplevelse för 18 olika faktorer och analyseras med hjälp utav multiregression.

Vi har utvecklat ett tidregistrerings- och faktureringssystem åt Xeratech Systems AB i Karlstad. Målet med vårt arbete var att utveckla ett system som var mer användarvänligt och mer funktionsenligt än Xeratechs gamla system - XSIS. Huvudfunktionen med systemet är att kunna registrera tider som anställda på Xeratech arbetat på olika projekt, vilket sedan ska kunna sammanställas till fakturor. Vi har skrivit en kravspecifikation för systemet efter diskussion med Xeratech, och sedan implementerat tidregistreringsdelen av specifikationen. Resultatet av vårt arbete är ett väl fungerande system som fått positiv respons vid testkörning hos Xeratech.

Students at the School of Engineering at Jönköping University have on behalf of the swimming organization ?Nässjö Sim och Livräddningssällskap? conducted research on how to monitor and evaluate swimmers and swimming groups in a simple and efficient manner with a focus on usability and user friendliness. Since no system existed that could meet these requirements, the client had a desire to tailor and develop such a system. The purpose of this work was to develop a system that would work as a tool to be used by coaches and swimmers alike and allow them to eventually follow the development of swimmers and swimming groups. Kompaktaggregat är ett integrerat FTX- och FVP-system som används i passivhus. Vi har gjortenergiberäkningar i programmet VIP+ för att se hur kompaktaggregatet skulle kunna fungera ipassivhus i Sverige.De resultat vi har fått fram ur VIP+ visar att passivhus med ett installerat kompaktaggregat klararav att nå passivhuskraven ända upp till Skellefteå. De beräknade värdena understiger kraven förpassivhus, men en viss marginal behövs för att kraven ska nås även efter uppförandet avbyggnaden. Vi har även tolkat tekniska uppgifter på ett sätt som enligt oss har en positiv effektför passivhus på kallare orter. Därför tror vi inte att värdena för de tre nordligaste platserna ärhelt tillförlitliga.

Detta examensarbete är utfört vid Avdelningen för datorstödd maskinkonstruktion, Luleå tekniska univeritet, på uppdrag av SwedPower AB. SwedPower AB är ett konsultföretag inom energisektorn och företaget är helägt av Vattenfall. Företaget finns representerat i stora delar av världen, med över 500 anställda inom energi och kraftsektorn. I arbetet har ett visualiseringsverktyg för rotordynamiska beräkningar utvecklats i CAE-programmet I-DEAS. Ett makro har skrivits som läser in geometri och förskjutningar i en rotorsträng, ritar upp rotorsträngen och producerar bilder på förskjutningarna.

Interest in the implementation of AGV-systems (Automated Guided Vehicle) has in recent decades increased. The reason is that it allows companies to perform reliably and secure internal transport while reducing the need of personnel. It is one of todays most advanced and complex material handling system that can independently make their own decisions regarding flow paths and traffic control. An AGV-system consists of transport units carrying cargo from point A to point B, and communicates using a computer.The purpose of this study is to develop a model on how to proceed in order to design an AGV system in heavy industry. The model is tested by a case study of a company in the metal industry to determine if the model works and gives the correct result.

This thesis is the result of the author?s interest in music and electronics, namely the design and manufacturing of a stereo sound system with an active crossover. In short it can be stated that an active crossover has many advantages over its traditional passive counterpart. The active design naturally results in a more complex system comprised of a multiple number of components. This report deals with the theoretical aspects of preamplifiers, crossovers and power amplifiers as well as power supply and control.

This thesis has been performed for the company System Andersson as a part of the bachelors degree in information technology at the School of Engineering in Jönköping. The thesis is based on the development of an iPhone application.System Andersson has an application for Android that is being used for their MPS system (material and production control system). Their customers, however, have also showed interest in being able to use this application for iPhone.The students handle the subject of iOS developing, including the design of the application, the use of the development language Objective-C, the use of the scripting language of Json used for server connections and SQL.The primary goal with this thesis has been to improve the students knowledge in such subjects as application development for mobile platforms, in such areas as Xcode, which is the development platform that Apple uses and Objective-C, which is the development language being used. The result of this thesis is an almost fully functional iOS application, similar to the Android application with some functionality missing..

In this Master we have studied classification system and alternative arrangements of books in a public library. The public libraries in Sweden use the SAB classification system. This system was created nearly a hundred years ago in order to suit the librarians and the Swedish society at the time. Today many library users find the system difficult to understand. This and other factors have inspired a number of libraries to arrange books in an alternative and more user-friendly way.

This thesis investigates if a system for small scale electricity production located in anurban environment can be profitable. The work has been divided up into two parts,one extensive literature study and one case study. The purpose of the literature studywas to investigate the area, resulting in a choice of which technology to be studied indepth in a case study.In the case study a system containing small scale wind turbines and photovoltaicsmounted on Gränby Centrums roof was examined. From data containing wind power,wind direction and total irradiation, possible production from a system weresimulated. Three products of each technology were examined in the simulations.From the simulated production an economic analysis was carried out, this toinvestigate if a system is profitable.
