Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder resulting from exposure to a traumatic event. The purpose of this study was to examine the exposure to Potentially Traumatic Events (PTE) and the prevalence of PTSD among students at the University of Lund. Sexdifferences among these variables were also examined. Using surveys as research method, 380 students from five different faculties participated. The results indicated that these students have been more exposed to PTE than the general Swedish population.

This thesis is dealing with the programs of control regarding deceit and quality assurance within the Swedish social insurance administration in Skåne, the years 2002-2005. In 2005 the Swedish National Audit Office released a report regarding the lack of measures towards deceit and fraud, and the lack of quality in the data for decision making within the administration. The questions to be addressed are why the administration does not make up to the demands regarding quality and measures towards deceit that the government and The National Audit Office demands. The main source for data has been interviews with workers within the administration and annual reports from public authorities. To understand and be able to explain the problems within the administration the theory by Michael Lipsky regarding street-level bureaucrats is used.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att analysera hur samspelet såg ut mellan speldesigners och spelprogrammerare samt att analysera hur konflikter hanterades.Denna uppsats var av kvalitativ art och baserades på fyra intervjuer med två designers och två programmerare.Det visade sig att det rådde bra kommunikation på företaget mellan designers och programmerare, men att det är vissa konflikter som ändå fanns kvar. En bidragande orsak till en försämring av samspelet var att designers och programmerare inte kan beskriva varandras arbete.En konflikt som togs upp i arbetet var att designers och programmerare pratar två helt skilda språk. Detta har inneburit att yrket teknikartist har vuxit fram för att länka samman parterna. Bitcoin is a digital currency that is used by people all around the world. The goal of this paper is to give an idea about how much trust there is in bitcoin among its users. This paper has used an online survey aimed at bitcoinusers and a content analysis to collect data about this trust.The conclusions show that there seems to be some trust in bitcoin as a technology and this is based on that the users have a good understanding about how bitcoin works. They also share their knowledge about bitcoin to people around them. The trust between people in the bitcoin network on the contrary doesn?t seem as high because certain technological properties hurt this trust.

The aim of this study is to discuss how public officials, who are implementing integration policies, describe and relate to ?immigrant women?. The analysis is based on interviews with eight public officials. Drawing on perspectives from discourse theory, multiculturalism, western feminism and postcolonialism, the diskussion tries to place the interview statements within a theoretical debate concerning the concepts of culture/ethnicity and sex/gender. The picture of the ?immigrant woman? seems to be somewhat revised.

Den debatt som har förts på området analyseras samt granskas utifrån dess inverkan för de insatser som syftar till att motverka våldet. I uppsatsen förekommer tre intervjuer med offentliga aktörer som arbetar för att motverka hedersvåldet i samhället. Min slutsats är att ordet hederskultur fortfarande är relativt bannlyst och att detta haft negativa konsekvenser för hanterandet av problematiken. Min teoretiska hållning utgår från tesen - kultur som ett medel i förändrade livsomständigheter och hur det kan förstärka en hederskultur i exil..

Minoritetsgrupper som exempelvis homosexuella får allt större utrymme i dagens massmedier. Uttalat homosexuella personer förekommer i såväl TV som tidningar och filmer och har blivit en självklar om än omdiskuterad del av medieflödet. Med detta som utgångspunkt syftar den här uppsatsen till att genom en kvalitativ näranalys utröna huruvida homosexualitet även kommer till uttryck i reklam. Vi valde att studera och jämföra reklambilder ur två av Sveriges största månadstidningar med heterosexuell målgrupp. Efter att ha studerat och analyserat vårt material drog vi slutsatsen att homosexualitet sällan eller aldrig uttrycks i reklam i tidningar med heterosexuell läsekrets.
