Not only developing countries are affected, even in the western world epidemics are breaking out by partake or bathing in dirty/polluted water.MIP, Molecularly Imprinted Polymers, is a biosensor Technology that can provide faster and more reliable response than the current methods of water analysis. It is also cheaper and due to that more samples can be taken and analyzed.

Denna uppsats utgår från en fallstudie av ett företag som arbetar med IT-distribution. Studiens syfte var att genom undersökningar av tre nivåer av kultur kartlägga och undersöka vad som kännetecknar företagskulturen. Detta gjordes genom intervjuer med företagets ledning, dokumentgranskning och observationer.Utifrån denna kartläggning analyserades resultatet utifrån Edgar Scheins tre nivåer för kultur. Dessa tre nivåer kan liknas vid en pyramid där grundläggande antaganden utgör pyramidens bas, uttalade värderingar befinner sig i mitten av pyramiden och artefakter bildar pyramidens topp. Därefter undersöktes det hur företagets kultur kunde relateras till Daniel R.

Time studies in dairy production are an essential tool when deciding about level of mechanisation and automatisation both in investment situation and improving efficiency in existing operations. In previous investigations such studies have been carried out during normal barn conditions during winter. Since there is a compulsory to have dairy cows grazing 3 to 5 months during summer time in Sweden time studies during this season is important to have a full picture of needed working time. During grazing season time studies was carried out at 14 dairy farms representing herd sizes from 66 to 450 dairy cows of which 6 farms with AMS. 8 farms were the same as studied during winter season.

This thesis is done on behalf of Statkraft Sweden AB who wants to explore the possibility of replacing the hydraulic cylinder with an electric actuator, generally as well as a case of a small power station on the river Nissan. Whether it is the chaplain or francis turbine vanes are actuated by hydraulic cylinders. Because of Gustavsberg hydropower is inconstant operation, this report is based on power calculations, which are read and computed according to the available hydraulic diagram.

Under de senaste decennierna har fokus riktats mot att effektivisera de utgående transporterna, vilket gjort att de inkommande transporterna kommit i skymundan. Företagen har dock på senare tid kommit till insikt om den potential som finns i att även förbättra de inkommande transporterna. Syftet med rapporten var från början att studera hur de inkommande transporterna fungerar samt ur ett kostnadsperspektiv utvärdera potentialen för förbättring. Under studiens gång skedde dock en syftesförskjutning på grund av problem vid fallstudieföretaget. Arbetet kom att fokuseras mer på kartläggning av inkommande transporterna, än på metoder för att förbättra konkurrenskraften, då detta område visade sig vara ett större problem än väntat.

Titeln på denna kandidatuppsats är Människa vs. Maskin. En ansats till självservice och är skriven av tre studenter inom magisterprogrammet för Service Management vid Lunds Universitet. Gröna tak har blivit en alltmer vanlig åtgärd för att hantera ökade dagvattenmängder i städer med stora andelar hårdgjorda ytor. Större delen av forskningen hittills har fokuserat på hur vattenretention och fördröjning av toppflöden ser ut för gröna tak, medan endast ett fåtal studier har undersökt hur kvaliteten på det avrinningsvatten som taken genererar ser ut. Vidare analys av eventuellt föroreningsinnehåll i avrinningen från gröna tak behövs för att fastställa dess miljöpåverkan.   Syftet med arbetet var att analysera kvalitet på avrinningsvatten från extensiva gröna tak och fastställa huruvida det förekommer tungmetaller i avrinningen eller ett näringsläckage efter tillsats av gödningsmedel. De extensiva tak som undersöktes är utformade av företaget Veg Tech AB och placerade i Taastrup, Danmark.

ABSTRACT Introduction: During the past 40 years the ambulance service in Sweden has evolved from mainly being a source of transport to today?s high-Tech caring facilities that enable qualified care to start already in the patient?s home. This first level of care is now provided by registered nurses and registered nurses with specialist training in pre hospital care.At the same time as the care provided is becoming more advanced, results from studies demonstrate that the amount of dispatches to patients that lack the need for ambulance care and transport is increasing. Nurses in pre-hospital care possess the knowledge, training and authority to perform an initial assessment of patients and also treat patients according to local and national guidelines. After the treatment it would sometimes be possible for the patients to remain at home without having to use ambulance transport to an emergency department or in other cases find other means of transport to hospital.

AbstractIntroduction: Hand Arm Risk Assessment Method (HARM) is a tool to assess the risks of deve­lo­ping complaints of the arm, neck or shoulders during manual work. The method was developed in the Netherlands primarily for employers, but is also used as an aid to work environment in­spec­tors. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the HARM-method for assessment of biomecha­nical exposure of the upper limbs when performing manual tasks as well as its suitability to be used within work environment inspection. Methods: Ten labour inspectors conducted assessments of five video-recorded work tasks. Assess­ments made with HARM were compared with those made with the Assessment of Re­pe­titive Tasks (ART) tool and with ACGIH Hand Actvity Level (HAL) - both methods for assess­ment of bio­mecha­nical exposure of the upper limbs - and with the model for the assessment of re­pe­titive work in the pro­visions of the Swedish Work Environ­ment Autho­rity on ergonomics for the prevention of mus­culo­skeletal disorders, AFS 1998:1.
