Syftet med denna undersökning var att se om hur viktiga adjektiven är för att elevers texter ska kunna anses som goda i bemärkelsen beskrivande och berörande. För att söka svar på frågan samlades tjugo autentiska elevtexter från högstadiet in, för att analyseras i hur mängden adjektiv kunde kopplas till att göra en text beskrivande och berörande. Adjektiven granskades i sitt sammanhang, i den mening de funnits i texten, för att se till helhetsintrycket. För att analysen skulle kunna genomföras valdes relevant litteratur till ämnet ut. Väsentliga begrepps befintlighet i elevtexterna som stilvärde, ordförråd, stilfigurer, betydelseomfång, intensionsdjup och ord för att skapa stämning har undersökts i analysen.

This report describes the creation of an interactive text system for storing, retrieval and publishing of texts, ITS.My task was to create a GUI together with a database capable of handling text, commenting of texts, references between texts, and the capability to associate images with texts.After enough texts have been inserted into the database, there shall be an ability to generate a report out of them.The report describes the methods used when the GUI was implemented, how the database was modelled and implemented, and how the security aspects where solved.The entire project is created with the help of Java, MySQL server, Connector/J and OpenSSL.Furthermore the functions of the GUI and the future of ITS is described..

To be able to maintain an adequate ITservice for various users and needs,more municipalities are looking at thepossibility for mergers of local ITdepartments. One solution for mergingmultiple services/functions and creatingsynergy opportunities is called SharedService Center (SSC). The concept of SSCis that the administrative serviceitself becomes a core activity withinthe organization. The aim of this thesisis to provide municipalities who areconsidering a merging of their local ITdepartments with recommendations on howto design the Shared IT Service Center.Recommendations are outlined based on ananalysis of IT-management literature,reports and by conducting a study onthree ongoing collaborations.The conclusions drawn from the studysuggest guidelines for the design of aShared IT Service Center formunicipalities. This study is about language use in text messaging. In this study there are 338 text messages: 206 of them written by girls and 132 written by boys. The informants in the study are 16 years old and they live in the countryside on the outskirts of a small town in southern Sweden. The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristic linguistic features in the messages, in order to determine what significant meaning an emoticon such as a smiley brings to a text and further, to explore what speech acts smileys occur in.The results show that the language in the messages is a mix of spoken and written language. The characteristic features that were found in the messages were short sentences, onomatopoetic expressions, words written in capital letters, English expressions and use of smileys.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att undersöka vilka strategier elever använder sig av vid text-, hör- och ordförståelse i franska. Jag har genom undervisningsförsök och elevenkäter undersökt vilka strategier elever i en niondeklass har när de arbetar med ovanstående moment där uppgifterna är hämtade utanför den ordinarie läroboken. Jag har därutöver intervjuat lärare på den skola jag gjort mina undervisningsförsök för att se om de ger eleverna strategier för arbete kring text-, hör- och ordförståelse. Projektet STRIMS och Tornbergs forskningsresultat har givit mig inspiration till arbetet. Eleverna använde sig huvudsakligen av framgångsrika strategier när de tog sig an de olika uppgifterna.

The purpose of this research is to study the new curriculum in the topic of modern languages in the upper secondary school, and compare the curriculum from year 2011 with the one from year 2000 and thus try to find differences in the content and wordng. The research also aims to investigate teachers' interpretations and understanding of the new curriculum. The study is divided into two sub?studies and those are based on the two methods of text analysis and interview. Text analysis of policy documents is made parallell with some aspects found in the background materials of the upper secondaryschool reform, which can be summarized as precision and globalization.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på huruvida generaliseringar om kön påverkar uppfattningen om texter. 1979 gjordes en undersökning som visade att en och samma text blev mottagen på olika sätt beroende på vem som sades vara textens källa. Genom att upprepa 1979 års undersökning ämnar denna uppsats att ta reda på om det har skett någon förändring gällande generaliseringarna sedan dess, samt att vidare diskutera orsaker samt eventuella risker med detta. Undersökningen 2008 kan konstatera försämrade eller oförändrade resultat för den kvinnliga källan gällande samtliga egenskaper, medan den kan påvisa förbättringar för den manliga. Det går dock att diskutera det faktum att det i mitt material finns tendenser till att skillnaderna i resultaten mellan den kvinnliga källan och den manliga tycks ha minskat..

The goal with the project was to make the graphic for Djungeltrumman.se´s upcomingwebb-TV. Djungeltrumman.se is a clubguide on the internet and as a magazine.Their target group is people in the age between 18-34 with an interest for culture and nightlife that lives in a city where Djungeltrumman.se is active. The purpose of the project was to make a graphical frame that had the feelling ofDjungeltrumman.se. The feeling should capture the interest of the target group and make them care more for Djungeltrumman.se.The graphics will contain an intro, information frames and presentations for the different parts in the program. In this project I focused on making the intro for the program.

The Swedish social insurance agency provides financial support for families and children, but also for people with work injury, illness and at old age. During 2012 they saw the amount of notifications of insurance increasing in Sweden, which is a development that cost our society a great deal of money. With the aim to pursue a sustainable development I have therefore devoted this project to wellness and stress management within preschool.The employees of preschool are often dealing with a lot of stress, due to the big groups of children that causes high noise and sound levels. The high noise and sound levels is a contributor to stress which additionally can damage the health and cause impaired hearing loss. About half of the people around their forties until the age of retirement have difficulties understanding speech in large groups.The purpose of this project has been to investigate the causes of negative stress for my target group, women between 30-60 years old who works in preschool.

The society of today is overflowed with information and commercials. There is a thick media noise that the marketers finds hard to penetrate. Bearing this in mind, we can see that Event Marketing, witch is marketing through events, has grown to be a popular form of communication as it has an ability to work its way through the existing media noise. Through events a company can strengthen its brand and image as well as form a lasting relationship with its consumers. What other functions does Event Marketing possess? In what context is Event Marketing an appropriate marketing strategy to use? These are two questions that we aim to answer through this essay.To be able to answer these questions we interviewed the marketing manager of two different companies, L´oréal and TeliaSonera.

The first vampire film I ever saw was Interview with a vampire. ?I haven?t been human for two hundred years?, opened up not only the film, but a whole new world I knew nothing about. The world, as it were, opened its doors to me again after I had seen the film adaption of Stephenie Meyers Twilight. Abstract (Engelska)The aim of this study is to investigate who is being emphasized, constructed and normalized as the addressee written for, in the text book ?Körkortsboken 2013?. Körkortsboken is used as the major textbook in the theoretical part of the education necessary to obtain a drivers? license in Sweden. Most people in Sweden obtain a drivers? license, sooner or later.

This essay examines middle school students? understanding of a text read aloud to them in English and the connection between the degree of listening comprehension and the expected increase of vocabulary throughout middle school. The same listening comprehension test was carried out in grades 4, 5 and 6 in a middle school in order to survey differences in English listening comprehension in regard to the ability to reproduce the content of an oral text. The result shows that there was a progression from level to level when it comes to comprehension and the number of words reproduced and that this progression was most noticeable between grades 4 and 5..
