Uppvärmningssystem - En analys av valmöjligheter för småhus
When constructing a new house many questions appear, from architecture to decisions regarding installations. Sweden is situated in a cold part of the planet and questions regarding which heating system to install face everyone who decides to build a new house. This thesis describes a construction solution of a villa in Kiruna. The extended essay analyzes which heating system is most suitable for the construction. The options are geothermal, district and pellet heating systems.
Elektromekanisk växel för tunga lyft : Konceptutveckling
The basis of the study lies with a newly patented gearbox by cardiologist and inventor Stig Lundbäck. Stig founded CorPower Ocean AB to further develop the gearbox to be used in a wave energy device. The purpose of this project is to develop a concept of a lifting system with CorPower Oceans gearbox that is more energy efficient than a hydraulic lifting system. The goal is to use technology from CorPower Oceans gearbox inversely to perform heavy lifting as an alternative to hydraulics. The project is limited to applying the gearbox and gear rack on a forklift with a lifting capacity of ten tons.The main tool in this project will be the product development process Systems engineering where only the most relevant parts will be used to develop a concept.
Product Innovation Engineering program : En studie av ett nationellt innovationsprogram i Sverige
This study is intended to give an impartial view of a young and complex program in Sweden titled Product Innovation Engineering program. The purpose of this program is to increase innovation capability in Sweden that will result in new companies, patents and economic growth. The results from this study might give some direction to future innovation initiatives, but should primarily serve as a tool for the PIEp participants. The study will focus on investigating the creation of the program as well as the development of its strategy. From weaknesses and strengths within the strategy of the program the study should also attempt to show its future potential.

This thesis examines how a company can get an effective, high quality,
maintenance of their computerized systems. After literary studies concerning
the life cycle activity Maintenance we have studied how the maintenance at the
department IT Supply of IKEA IT AB in Älmhult is carried out. What steps and
measures in the analyzing of results of changes are carried out and if they
have predefined processes for changes.
Based on the facts we found most important in our literary studies we have
created a model and theoretically applied this to the maintenance of a specific
system to see what they can work with to further improve the quality and
efficiency in their maintenance.
The basis for our thesis is literary studies and the collected material has
been used as a foundation for the research at the company, which was carried
out through interviews.
This thesis is based on the question: ?How do the lack of a model for
maintenance and the lack of orientation affect the maintenance in a company??.
