AimThe purpose of this dissertation is to find out what discrimination of salary means and if the legislation that exists in Sweden, regarding same salary for the same or similar work, effects sports and if the way that the sportindustry divide salaries are acceptable. The purpose is also to find out if discrimination of salary exist within swedish handball and if this is a reason why swedish ladies handball is not professional. The framing of questions that have been processed is:1. Does discrimination of salary occur in swedish handball?2.

 Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur stor del av ett dagarbetspass som sjuksköterskor på en medicinavdelning ägnar sig åt omvårdnad i relation till andra arbetsuppgifter samt sjuksköterskans uppfattning om den tid denne lägger ner på olika arbetsuppgifter. Metod som använts var observation av nio sjuksköterskor med avseende på tidsåtgång för sex fördefinierade arbetsuppgifter; administration, omvårdnad, läkemedelshantering, ansvarsområden, rond och rapport. Enkäter delades även ut till sjuksköterskorna på avdelningen gällande självskattning av tidsåtgång för arbetsuppgifterna samt instämmande till påståenden angående deras uppfattning om tiden räckte för de olika arbetsuppgifterna. Resultatet visar att sjuksköterskorna lägger ned mest tid på administration följt av omvårdnad, rond, läkemedelshantering, rapport och sist ansvarsområden. Omvårdnad utgjorde 21 % av den sammanlagda arbetstiden och de uppgav att de för närvarande inte har tillräckligt med tid för denna arbetsuppgift. .

This paper examines constructions of identities in Swedish news paper articles concerning the European Unions?s Tobacco Products Directive. Using critical discourse analysis (CDA) supported by theories of discourse, semiotics and identity formation, this paper argues that constructions of a Swedish ?Us? are distinguished from a non-Swedish ?Them?. These constructions depends on categories such as use of tobacco, science, history and war, which are frequently used in the discourse to separate ?Us?, ?the good? from ?Them?, ?the bad?.

Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att konkretisera och analysera vad förändringen i form av komponentavskrivningar som huvudregel innebär och hur den kan komma att påverka företagen.För att uppfylla syftet har vi valt att genomföra intervjuer med redovisningsspecialister, auktoriserade revisorer samt redovisningspraktiker på företag. Vi har kompletterat dessa intervjuer med frågeformulär skickade till redovisningsexpertis och genomfört en dokumentstudie av årsredovisningar. För att belysa effekterna av vår problemställning har ett ett räkneexempel genomförts.Den litteratur som använts tar upp begreppen tillgångar och dess värdering, harmoniseringen och dess utveckling samt komponentavskrivningar. Intervjuer har genomförts med personer från Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Öhrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers, Svensk-Danska Broförbindelsen SVEDAB AB, Metso AB och Sydkraft AB. Vi har också studerat årsredovisningar från SAS och Malmö Aviation AB.Studien visar att den teoretiska delen av redovisningsprofessionen har grundinställningen att övergången till komponentavskrivningar som huvudregel inte borde vara något problem.

Earlier this year the Swedish migration board gave a part of their responsibility for the separated children to those municipalities that have signed an agreement with them, so that the children can get the best handling of their matters and also to lift the heavy pressure of the Swedish migration board. Our aim in this paper is to see how this division is made and which areas of responsibility they have. We want to see how this process is being handled in relation to these children?s rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Swedish law. To get the best information possible we used a qualitative method.

This thesis will explore how the medium of film is treated in the recently published Swedish textbooks and how these textbooks take into account the four different aspects of Cineliteracy.Cineliteracy is a theory which advocates the necessity of students' increased cinematic knowledge by presenting the four skill areas that should be included when it comes to teaching film in school. The theory implies students´ analytical skills, contextual knowledge and knowledge of the film canon as well as the development of students' skills to produce films. Cineliteracy theory finds support both within Swedish National Agency for Education and in recent Swedish research.This study includes investigation of eight new textbooks, adapted to the criteria for the new Swedish curriculum 2011. The analysis will be limited to textbooks for the course Swedish 1, since it is mandatory regardless of the orientation of the student?s education..

The main objective in this study is to examine the pupil?s possibility to affect the upper secondary schools in Stockholm, Sweden. I was once active in the pupil?s council and experienced some hardships, feeling a great dissatisfaction among teachers and principals against pupil?s suggestions and chances to affect their school environment. Thus I wanted to do a contemporary study of where schools in Stockholm stand today within this issue.

This study is set out to examine if there is any kind of influence between the EU and Swedish gender policy. More specific the Swedish efforts within the gender policy area, especially in the area of social policy and employment, during the Swedish presidency in the Council of Ministers 2001. This paper aims to analyze if ground based air defence of the Swedish Defence Forces is sufficiently equipped to protect units serving abroad. The Swedish ground based airdefece has its roots in the era of the cold war but the focus of Swedish Defence Forces has shifted from defending Swedish territory to peace keeping and peace enforcement in foreign countries. First I will take a look at the base factors for ground based air defence units serving in a peace keeping or enforcing mission and then use this to define what abilities you would like to have in a ground based air defence system. This thesis studies the Swedish advertising business as an actor in the national formation of Sweden. It argues that earlier research has ignored to see advertising businesses as possible forces of these formations. The essay investigates how this appears historically through collaboration with an informational organisation that had risen due to the Second World War and that was a part of the national defence. I can, by investigating a discussion that focused on this informational organisation and the advertising businesses relation to it, show how the business as an effect of a civic engagement expressed an interest to participate in the informational work. This essay is about the Swedish working woman in the early 1930s. The empirical data consists mainly of Arbetarkvinnornas Tidning (AKT), a Swedish Communist magazine which was launched in December 1929. A qualitative discourse method has been used. Texts, articles, letters to the editor and reports about social conditions in Sweden and Soviet during the years 1929-1932 has been examined. Soviet women models and ideal types are compared with the image of the Swedish working woman.

AbstractThe purpose with this paper is to describe focus in the school subject swedish through a historic perspective. The result are to be present in this paper as diagram and also in ordinary text.The conclusion is that the subject swedish has changed from functionalism to formalism and then turned to a more literary education and finally towards functionalism again. The aim of this thesis is to examine how the Swedish Film Institute?s arguments regarding file sharing, copyright and the Internet relates to the changes made in the Swedish copyright law during 2003 and 2007, using the current debate about surveillance versus liberty on the Internet as a backdrop. The theory used is based on Lawrence Lessig?s ideas about how a network such as the Internet can be controlled, and what regulating forces a government can use to constrain a certain behavior such as illegal file sharing. By examining referral statements made by the Swedish Film Institute to five different communications from the Swedish government regarding copyright and film politics an idea analysis is being used as a method to answer the following sub-questions: 1.) How has the Swedish copyright law evolved during the latest years? 2.) What arguments are being used by the Swedish Film Institute in issues regarding file sharing, copyright and the Internet? 3.) Are the arguments being used by the Swedish Film Institute regarding these issues changing during the examined period? The findings of the study show that the Swedish Film Institute has been eager to support a more powerful expansion of the copyright laws, often suggesting more powerful solutions than the Swedish government itself.
