Denna uppsats är en undersökning av hur litteraturkritiker i modern svensk dagspress söker legitimera sig för att sedermera uppnå auktoritet. Genom fyra kriterier upprättade med utgångspunkt i litteraturvetaren Tomas Forsers bok Kritik av kritiken analyseras totalt 28 texter ur Dagens nyheter, Svenska dagbladet, Expressen och Aftonbladet. Samtliga texter publicerades under vecka 14 2009. Uppsatsen kommer fram till kriterierna är användbara och argumenterar för att de visar hur de enskilda kultursidorna söker profilera sig i och fortsatt eftersöka metoder för att legitimera sig och på så sätt vinna auktoritet..

The aim with this thesis is to examine how childrens librarians apprehend and use the nationally initiated reading project Bokjuryn as an instrument in their work. The main question is as follows: How does Bokjuryn work related to the way public libraries pass on literature? Two questions are asked: How does the childrens librarians use Bokjuryn as an instrument and how do they motivate their work with it? and How do the childrens librarians view the reading project Bokjuryn as a method of passing on literature? The study is based on qualitative interviews with five childrens librarians. As a theoretical starting-point Jofrid Karner Smidt´s work about mediation of literature has been used. A model has been created and used based on Louise Limbergs analyses of the differences between school libraries and public libraries to analyse the result of the interviews together with other literature.

After the appointment of a new European Commission in 2004, ?communication? was made a top priority on the agenda. The Commission presented a new communication policy, which would establish a dialogue with the citizens, thereby bringing more democracy to the union and bridging the gap to the citizens. Three documents containing the policy were published, namely an internal action plan for the Commission, Plan D which establishes the framework for national debates and a whitepaper on EU communication policy. These documents were met by mistrust and criticism from many different actors such as journalists and experts.The aim of this master thesis is to examine this new communication policy from a deliberative democratic perspective.

Objective: In recent years there has been an increasing interest within the clinical (medical) science in measuring people?s health. When estimating quality of life, present practise is to use the EQ-5D questionnaire and an index which weighs the different questions. The question is what happens if the individuals estimate there own health, would it differ from the public preferences? The aim is to make a new prediction model based on the opinion of patients and compare it to the present model based on public preferences.Method: A sample of 362 patients with unstable coronary artery disease from the Frisc II trial, valued their quality of life in the acute phase and after 3, 6 and 12 months.

En omtalad skandal är Skandiaskandalen som inträffade år 2003.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra till ökad förståelse för vilka utmaningar svensk flygstridsledning stårinför i utvecklandet av en internationellt fungerande flygstridsledning. Begreppet interoperabilitet har inledningsvisbeskrivits ur Försvarsmaktens perspektiv för att därefter ges en vidare tolkning genom MichaelCodners teorimodell. En enkätundersökning ställd till flygstridsledare visade att de viktigaste faktorer förinteroperabilitet på stridsteknisk nivå inte överensstämde med militärstrategiska nivåns tekniska fokus förinteroperabilitet.Flygstridsledarnas identifierade faktorer, stridsledningsteknik samt luftrumsprocedurer, utnyttjades vidare isyfte att klarlägga skillnaderna mellan svensk och brittisk flygstridsledning, samt hur dessa påverkar möjlighetenatt uppnå svensk interoperabel flygstridsledning. Analysen visar på avgörande skillnader mellansvensk och brittisk flygstridsledning. I huvudsak kan dessa skillnader hänföras till kulturella och beteendemässigafaktorer.Avgörande för att utveckla en interoperabel svensk stridsledning är tillgång till fullständig och aktuell dokumentationavseende taktik, metoder och procedurer, för både flygstridsledare och piloter.

This Master?s thesis examines the discussions about the new Swedish legal deposit legislation for electronicdocuments, related to Jürgen Habermas? theories around the public sphere.In 2009, a draft of the law proposal was sent out to various authorities and organizations who were asked tocontribute their views on this matter. This study looks at who has responded of those asked, and what commonviews are apparent within these responses. The responses from two different categories are focused on ?universities and other authorities, examining if any similarities or differences can be noticed in the arguments inthe different categories? responses to the proposed law change.This information has been first analyzed through content analysis, providing an overview to the respondentsof the draft, and the different views which have arisen.

 Background and aim: Media development and digitalization has expanded the PR industry's working area. More participants are on the media market and it is becoming more and more difficult to define what PR really is and what the PR agencies/departments really do. Is PR marketing, information, event marketing or maybe propaganda? We believe that the complexity to define the term PR can lead to a loss of critical approach to the business, especially among young people. Has the PR industry managed to eliminate their negative image among students in upper secondary school and what do they associate with PR today? The aim of this essay is to examine what a selection of students associate with the term PR and if they are critical to the PR industry or not.Method/Material: The method is a quantitative survey.

It has become popular for political scientists to discuss the transformation from government to governance and the networks? greater influence on public policymaking. However, this debate lacks methodological, empirical and theoretical research about the relationship between governance networks and representative democracy. The main objective of this essay is to understand the relationship between governance networks and representative democracy through a case study of the governance network Leader Linné. The theoretical framework includes four analysis models about the relationship between governance networks and representative democracy that are analysed by five factors connected to representative democracy.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the functions of the public library for parents of infants and how they see the ideal library. The research questions are: How do parents of infants use the library and what are their experience of it? What opinions and wishes do parents of infants have regarding the library? How can library services be developed to better match the needs of the parents of infants? The theoretical approach is based on Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model of the public library?s functions and the model of classification by Ellen-Merete Duvold and Gunnar Sæbø. To answer my research questions I have carried out three focus-group interviews with parents of infants. The study revealed that the public library functions as a cultural centre, a social centre, a knowledge centre and, to a certain extent, an information centre for the parents.

Risken för ett fullskaligt krig i svensk miljö och terräng, för vilken den svenska taktiken är utvecklad, ter sig mer och mer avlägsen. Däremot ser vi en ständig utveckling mot ökat deltagande i internationella insatser, varav ett flertal av världens konflikthärdar finns i ökenmiljö. Det är därför inte omöjligt att svenska pansarförband kan komma att sättas in i en miljö som motsvarar Persiska Viken 1991Som kriget 1991 visar är den amerikanska taktiken väl lämpad för krigföring i ökenmiljö medan den svenska är helt oprövad i ett reguljärt slag i dylik miljö. Därför är det intressant att jämföra dessa två koncept för att undersöka huruvida ett svenskt pansarförband har möjlighet att uppnå god effekt och nyttja armétaktiken i en kontext som skiljer sig från den ordinarie.Syftet med uppsatsen är således att undersöka huruvida det svenska taktiska konceptet är tillämpbart i en annan miljö än den svenska. Frågor som uppsatsen ämnar besvara är:Hur skiljer sig svensk taktik med mekaniserade förband mot amerikansk?Är nuvarande svensk pansartaktik tillämpbar i ökenmiljö?Hur stor inverkan har ökenmiljö och ökenterräng på taktik och metoder? .

Osman, H, Möte med svensk sjukvård. En fenomenologisk studie av muslimska invandrarkvinnors upplevelser av svensk sjukvård. Examensarbete i omvårdnad, 15 högskolepoäng. Malmö högskola: Hälsa och samhälle, utbildningsområde omvårdnad, 2008. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa muslimska kvinnors upplevelse av mötet med svensk hälso- och sjukvård då de själva sökt vård eller sökt vård för en närstående. Tre muslimska invandrarkvinnor djupintervjuades. Intervjuerna skrevs ut i sin helhet och analyserades med den deskriptiva fenomenologiska humanvetenskapliga metoden som den presenteras av Adamo Giorgi. Kvinnorna i studien var genomgående positiva och nöjda med sin upplevelse av mötet med den svenska hälso- och sjukvården.
