The focus of this study is on the nature of social support from the rape Survivor's perspective. Research has shown that social support is essential to the Survivor's ability to recover from rape and that it acts as a powerful tool for the Survivor to effectively deal with the PTSD symptoms that follow rape. The research also shows that Survivors often receive or interpret reactions after a rape as negative. Hence, these reactions can be detrimental tothe healing process.Qualitative interviews with six women on their experience of social support after rape form the base of this study and Anthony Giddens terms ontological security, fateful moments and bodily self-management are a part of the analytical apparatus. Rape is commonly analyzed from a feminist perspective.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate and analyze existing law concerning joint owner-ship in agriculture and forestry businesses. Joint ownership often arises through a succes-sion of ownership, therefore we will go through the most useful methods.Even if the owners of agriculture and forestry businesses are getting older, the numbers of succession of ownerships are still low. A succession of ownership is important to plan and its time is demanding. Often it takes three to five years for the completion of a succession of ownership. Therefore, owners must start their planning in time and think about what is to come of their business.

The main purpose for this thesis is to investigate why female academics choose to work as temporary workers. Through profound interviews I look at the reasons the women gives to why the have chosen the role as a consultant but also why they choose to stay on in the position. I?m relating their answers to widely spread theories about gender and social structures. I also investigate theories about job satisfaction and how these women?s answers can be interpreted from these theories.

Uppsatsens huvudsyfte är att undersöka hur vuxna överlevare från sexuella övergrepp i barndomen hanterar sia erfareneheter och läker effekterna av traumat. Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med fem informanter. De huvudsakliga slutsatserna av materialanalysen är följande: Relationen till make eller annan partner har större positivt inflyttande på läkningsprocessen än relationen till terapeut eller internetbaserade relationer till andra överlevare. Överlevare kan under läkningsprocessen finna en positiv mening i förmågor de tillägnat sig för att överleva traumat. I läkningsprocessen kan överlevare ändra sina grundantaganden i positiv riktning.

Then need for people with IT-competence is conquent increasing. A survey of corporate IT-competence is therefore of interest for companies as well as for local authorities. To determine the IT competence within an organisation, this competence has to be measurable.

The prevention of age discrimination in Sweden did not have any solvent grounds until directive 2000/78/EG was implemented into Swedish law. Today age discrimination has been banned for just over two years. This ground of discrimination has, compared to other existing grounds of discrimination in Swedish law, a lot more opportunities to make exceptions from. Given the fact that the exemption rules are vague, it is difficult to determine whether the protection against age discrimination is in fact a protection at all. The purpose of this essay is to describe what the law regarding age discrimination means.

AbstractThe intention of our study is to examine how the view of homeless people and their life situation looks according to a selection of persons, which in their work get into contact with homeless people. The study is based on a qualitative method that includes interviews.The result of the study is based on interviews with eight persons working in the social services, volunteer organisations, the police and a security organisation. The majority of the persons that have been interviewed are normalising homeless people; they do not look upon them as different. At the same time they have the opinion that homeless people live a tougher life and that they have to fight more for their living than other people. The persons that we have interviewed share the view that homeless people live under a constant pressure of finding a place to sleep.

Background: Each year, over one million people around the world die as a result of suicide. About 1500 of those are in Sweden. In each case an estimated six kindred?s are to be affected. These people are in great need of support.

Stroke är den tredje vanligaste dödsorsaken i Sverige och risken för att insjukna ökar med stigande ålder. Vid stroke har personen drabbats antingen av en infarkt eller av en blödning i hjärnan. Restsymtomen efter en stroke kan uttrycka sig på olika vis. Vanligaste symtomen är domningar eller förlamningar i ansikte, armar och ben. Rehabilitering efter en stroke kan ta lång tid och efter sjukhusvistelsen är det ofta närstående som tar det största ansvaret för omvårdnaden av personen som drabbats av stroke.

Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva kvinnors, från olika kulturer, erfarenheter och behov av vårdens sociala stöd efter att ha överlevt sin bröstcancer. Syftet var också att kvalitetsgranska den metodologiska aspekten urvalsmetod i de utvalda och granskade artiklarna.Metod: En litteraturstudie med beskrivande design.Resultat: Resultatet av denna litteraturstudie visar att inom informationsstöd hade kvinnorna erfarenheter av informationsbrist gällande fysisk och psykisk hälsa samt informationsbrist från läkare angående biverkningar, riktlinjer samt lymfödem. Det visade sig att kvinnorna hade behov av bättre och mer djupgående information, separata informationssamtal med vårdpersonal och rätt anpassad information vid rätt tidpunkt. Inom emotionellt stöd och värderingsstöd visar resultatet att kvinnorna hade erfarenheter av språkbarriärer och otillfredsställande läkarrelation med bristande helhetssyn. Kvinnorna hade behov av en tilldelad kontaktperson och rehabiliteringsteam, tillgänglighet till vården, extra stöd i både fysisk och psykisk egenvård samt individuella vårdinsatser.

Bakgrund: Allt fler kvinnor överlever bröstcancer vilket är ett resultat av förbättrade metoder för diagnostik, allmän mammografi samt mer effektiva behandlingsmetoder. Gruppen bröstcanceröverlevare har synliggjorts mycket tack vare kampanjen kring Rosa Bandet. Ofta drabbas kvinnor som överlevt av både fysiska och psykosociala problem relaterat till sin bröstcancer. Författarna ville beskriva de existentiella upplevelserna som kvinnorna skulle kunna ha relaterat till sin överlevnad.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva existentiella upplevelser hos kvinnor som överlevt bröstcancer.Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats, relevanta för syftet. Databaser som användes vid artikelsökning var PubMed och ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source.Resultat: Resultatet presenteras i fyra olika teman och två underteman.
