Att lagerföra produkter med begränsad hållbarhet kan skapa problem för det lagerförande företaget. Problematiken ligger i att inte lagra för mycket produkter, så hållbarhetstiden hinner gå ut, samtidigt som man måste kunna mätta sina kunders behov. Ett välfungerande lagerstyrningsarbete kan hjälpa företag med denna problematik, vilket även skapade grunden för denna uppsats. Tre företag inom Stockholmsområdet studerades gällande deras respektive arbetssätt när det kommer till lagerstyrning. Det studieobjekten har gemensamt är att de lagerför livsmedel; produkter med begränsad hållbarhet.Studien tar reda på vilket sätt företag, som lagrar livsmedel, arbetar med lagerstyrning samt vilken eller vilka faktorer som ses avgörande för lagerstyrningens effektivitet.

This thesis has been made on behalf of SCA Skog AB to assess the need of boron in Swedishforest fertilization. Boron has been added to Swedish forest fertilizers since the beginning of the1980s. This makes the fertilizers more expensive and therefore has the necessity of boron inSwedish forest fertilization been raised.The Swedish bedrock generally contains small amounts of boron. The boron in the bedrock istightly bound to the mineral tourmaline and mostly unavailable for plants. This leads to that thecontribution of boron to the soil from weathering is very low besides soils with marinesediments.

Ett begränsat utbud av växter kan antas påverka privatpersoners trädgårdsintresse negativt. För norra Norrland begränsas utbudet av lignoser till dem som har tillräcklig härdighet. Det kan dock antas att fler lignoser utöver de som säljs idag, har potential att användas i denna del av landet. Detta examensarbete har som syfte att ta reda på hur försäljningen av lignoser i norra Norrland ser ut idag. Vidare undersöks också om en utveckling av lignosutbudet pågår och hur arbetet med denna utveckling i så fall ser ut. Vem eller vad som kan påverka så att fler härdiga lignoser kommer ut på marknaden har varit en central frågeställning.

Debatten om svenska matpriser har varit en stark motor för den utveckling av dagligvaruhandeln som konsumenterna möter idag. Extrem lågpriskonkurrens, en ökad andel av detaljisters egna varumärken i butik samt en hög koncentration av detaljistledet, är några av de effekter som delvis kan förklaras av allmänhetens krav på sänkta matpriser. Vi har noterat att ledande varumärken såsom Kellogg?s och Gillette, uteslutits från detaljisternas sortiment som ett resultat av misslyckade förhandlingar rörande inköpspris. Detta kan även ses som ett tecken på att den en gång så starke leverantören har fått reducerad förhandlingsstyrka.

Handling product returns has become a critical activity for organizations as the volume of gods flowing back through the Supply chain rapidly increases. Few research studies have published specific empirical data concerning the reverse logistics practices of companies. Information technology and information support has long been recognized as a competitive weapon ? capable of enhancing company performance and achieving efficient reverse logistics. Reverse logistics is very unlike the forward, as it is more reactive and also has less visibility.

Genom den rådande utvecklingen inom svensk rundvirkeförsörjning, som går mot större och färre produktionsanläggningar, blir medeltransportavståndet allt längre. Detta ökar behovet av järnvägstransporter av virke och förändrar därmed de andelar som bil- och järnvägstransporter utgör av den totala virkesförsörjningen. Ytterligare påverkan på transportval åstadkoms av varierande järnvägsnät och industriplacering i förhållande till detta. Syftet med denna studie var att utveckla en simuleringsmodell för att kartlägga effekterna av systemkonfiguration och omvärldsfaktorer på leveransprecision, lagernivåer och ledtider i massavedsförsörjning. Metoden som användes var objektorienterad händelsestyrd simulering i kombination med linjärprogrammering. Styrningslogiken som användes baserades på systemstatus och tog beslut om allokering av transportresurser genom justerad schemaläggning av tåg, anpassningar i biltransporternas totala kapacitet samt omstyrning av flöden mellan industrier. Två system användes, baserade på järnvägens struktur för norra respektive södra Sverige.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to test four different hypotheses from the aspect of the title of this paper. H 1 Consumers trust the pharmacy employees? advice and suggestions for their purchase decisions more than the brand awareness they have received through the companies marketing communication H 2 Consumers are enough affected of a company?s marketing communication to choose their brand even if the pharmacy employees recommend other brands. H 3 Building brand equity through pharmacies can only be successful if the company has built up a trust for their brand among the pharmacy employees. H 4 Without building brand equity the marketing communication strategy for Ferrosan cannot increase their brand value and create loyalty. Methodology: The research method that was chosen is a detective argumentation that starts from theories and explain different parameters regarding the subject I am concentration on. It is a case study where the companies branding strategy towards pharmacies in Sweden is analyzed bys a mix of semi-structured interviews, documentation analysis and a quantitative research . Theoretical framework: The theoretical model that has been prepared gives me the possibility to analyze different parameters regarding branding that are important when building a brand in an new market.

English title: Part-time work among women in Sweden ? what influences choice of working hours? In the 1960s and 70s a large growth in part-time work amongst women in the Swedish labour market took place. A net inflow of workers into the labour market has been suggested as the main source. However, part-time work is still a common phenomenon among Swedish women; in 2004 almost 40% of all women worked part-time, and women are clearly dominating the part-time sector. A gradual changeover from house work to market work is hardly a valid explanation anymore.

The globalization that has occurred during the last few years has made it more important for companies to have a well-functioning logistics system. Customers demand more options, which lead to an increased flow that creates greater demand regarding packaging and transports. Diverse logistics costs are nowadays a substantial cost for many companies. Therefore, more effort is aimed at optimizing transportation to lower these costs.The purpose of this project is to create a user-friendly calculation of logistics costs that illustrates how the costs vary, depending on how the flow is structured. This is done by examining which aspects that affect the total logistics costs and by mapping which aspects that should be included in a calculation of the logistics costs.Literature studies have been carried out parallel with empirical studies at Scania's production unit, MC, in Oskarshamn.

I ett historiskt perspektiv har leverantörerna försökt närma sig marknaden genom att en tätare relation med slutkunden upprättas. Eftersom dagens företag är hårt konkurrentutsatta krävs en effektiv försörjningskedja med leveranser i rätt tid och rätt kvantitet. Det krävs även att företagen har en effektiv lager- och produktionsstyrning för att tillgodose marknadens varierande efterfrågan. Plannja har under de två senaste decennierna försökt etablera sig på nya marknader genom att köpa upp befintliga bolag. Utökningen har inneburit att företaget har kommit närmare slutkunden och att försörjningskedjan blivit längre.

This study has investigated what makes a business relation satisfactory. The purpose is to distinguish the factors that are relevant to a functioning cooperation relationship between sawmills and DIY-stores. The theoretical framework is primarily based on long-term business relationships. The study is based on two case companies and their relations with wood-suppliers. - Case company 1 is a relatively new established and still growing company.

Insuch a wastewater treatment plant, tremendous amounts of energy are expended by the aeration in the biologicalcleaning process. This aeration is necessary to Supply the microorganisms that shall decompose organic material withoxygen, which they need for their metabolism. The transfer of oxygen from the gas phase to the liquid phase isprimarily inhibited by surface-active substances in the waste water like resin acids or fatty acids.

It has therefore become even more important to safely reuse plant nutrients from human excreta to agricultural land. Partly because it increases the sustainability of society as the world's Supply of many nutrients are finite, partly because it promotes human health, both by reducing disease transmission and by increasing Agricultural production. An untapped resource such as sewage sludge that is rich in nutrients and humus-forming materials could replace parts of the commercial fertilizers used in Sweden today. owever, sewage sludge contains undesirable substances such as heavy metals and drug residues, and pathogenic microorganisms.
