Innebörden av god handledning bland sjuksköterskestudenter i verksamhetsförlagd utbildning

Supervision has a strong impact on Students` professional development. It is during clinical education that Students will receive help in linking theory and practice. This study aimed to describe the meaning of good supervision among nursing Students in clinical practice. A qualitative design was used. Nine nursing Students in western Sweden, who had all experienced good supervision in clinical practice, were interviewed.The interviews were analyzed using a descriptive phenomenological methodology.The meaning of the phenomenon, good supervision in clinical education among nursing Students, was shown as the Students were gradually piloted to increased responsibility.

Matematiksvårigheter : Värför och vad kan vi göra

During my practical training period I observed that many of the Students have a negative attitude against mathematics. I also observed that these Students have a difficulty reaching the goals in the subject. In my opinion there are different factors that can be the reason to why these Students experiences mathematics as a difficult subject in school. This is the reason why I wanted to find out which factors that lies behind the difficulties and how the pedagogues work to support these Students. It is also significant that every single student get their rights to develop a positive attitude against mathematics and that the pedagogue supports the Students in their development.The point with this degree project is to find out, with the help of three pedagogues, which factors that could lead to difficulties in mathematics with Students.

The aim of the present study is to describe the experiences of high school Students as regards the effects of their activities, in and out of lessons, being published on the web. In addition, a further purpose is to acquire knowledge about whether a website could be used as means of increasing the Students level of attention, and focus, to their activities in school; and, furthermore, how such a website should be designed to correspond with the Students requests.The implemented methods are interviews with Students, school administrators and teachers. A survey was conducted covering the student?s personal experiences and opinions. Furthermore, an interface test of the website was performed.

Laboratory work is a big part of chemistry education in high school. During our student training placement we have noticed that the laboratory work is not fully utilized to develop Students´ chemistry knowledge. This problem made us want to investigate how the laboratory work in chemistry could be set, to become more meaningful for Students. We introduced two preparation methods, and examined the outcome of Students learning experiences and their acquisition of chemistry knowledge. This was examined both through surveys and observation.

The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis was to examine the information needs of the international Students at the University of Borås. A further aim was to examine the types of information sources the international Students was using to satisfy their information needs and the environmental factors keeping them from achieving this. This was done through focus group interviews with international Students from four different countries ranging from the ages 20 ? 35.

Alcohol consumption and student life have been connected through many years. Many people establish their drinking habits during their years as a student and drinking habits among Students are therefore an extremely important topic. The aim of this study was to examine the drinking habits of Students at Växjö University. The study included 98 respondents who answered a survey concerning sex, age, living status, social relations, social desirability and drinking habits. The result indicated that male Students consumed more alcohol than female Students.

The aim with this study is to examine how Students and teachers value source criticism. Partly, this regards how teachers practice this in their teaching and how Students work with it during lessons ? but also how Students value source criticism in situations where the teacher not has pointed out that this topic is part of the actual assignment. Moreover, there is a focus on investigating how Students who are critical of the sources take this into account in their daily lives; for example, when they surf on the Internet or when they discuss news articles or other media. This essay is based on interviews with Students and teachers, using a qualitative method. The results of this study show that both Students and teachers find source criticism to be of major importance.

The definition of procrastination can be described as a behavior with deliberate postponement of tasks or commitments despite expected negative consequences for the individual and his or her environment. This study examined how widespread this behavior is among Students in higher education in Sweden. Using a web-based survey, data was collected for analysis. A statistical program, SPSS, was used for evaluation of the collected data. The purpose of this study was to examine whether there are differences in the degree of procrastination between Students located on campus versus Students who do their education at distance.

This case study examines how upper secondary schools in a municipality in the northern parts of Sweden structure their special pedagogy with Students who have ADHD and dyslexia, Students? and parents? experiences of this, and what regulates the schools management in this particular aspect. The results show that all the schools have special pedagogues and other support staff employed, though in varied extent. Furthermore, the resources are distributed differently from school to school. The focus, however, is always around communication between the concerned parties.

The aim of the study is to elucidate and analyze newcomer Students´ experiences of the Language Introduction Program, in more detail, how the Students describe their time at the program and how experiences could differ between girls and boys. Finally, the study examines how the program, according to the Students, can be significant for their future. The analysis of the Students´ dictums is based on the perspective of intercultural education. To answer the study´s aim and research questions, the investigation consists of eight semi-structured interviews with Students who are studying at the Language Introduction Program at an upper secondary school in Uppsala.The results show that the main advantages with studying at the Language Introduction Program are, according to the Students, that they learn the Swedish language and that they meet Students with several cultural backgrounds. The main disadvantages that were noted were that the Language Introduction Program takes a long time to finish, and furthermore, the contact with the Students at the other programs at the school is not enough.

Möjligheter med en skola för alla : En intervjustudie om idrottslärarnas syn på inkludering av elever med funktionsnedsättningar

English is an international and global language that Students, regardless of mother tongue, encounter in their everyday lives. In Sweden, Students are introduced to English teaching in year 1, 2 or 3, and in some cases, year 4. English teaching can sometimes be problematic when the language of instruction often consists of Swedish, which for second language Students becomes a challenge to acquire new skills in a week language.The study aims to examine, with a qualitative study, how pedagogues plan and implements English teaching in first grade with Students whose mother tongue are other than Swedish. Further, the aim was to examine how pedagogues say they relate to the fact that second language pupils participating in English lessons and if they think it affects their English teaching.The conclusions is that the pedagogues has probably not been problematized the phenomenon examined and say they do not adapt their teaching. In the interviews reveals information about the teaching method which, in my opinion, indicates that, unconsciously, adapting their teaching when they have second language Students.

Elevers lärande i grupparbeten : en kvalitativ studie av en grupp elevers tankar kring lärande i grupparbeten

The purpose of this study is to investigate how a group of Students experience their learning when working in groups, and determine if they prefer to work individually or in groups. This study will also investigate what the Students believe that they learn when working in groups. The study is based on these two questions:How and what do Students perceive that they learn from working in groups?Do the Students in my study prefer to work in groups or individually?The method I have used to retrieve information has been to interview four different Students. The interviews were individual; I did so to get a deeper view of how Students perceive their own learning in groups.

The aim in this essay is to investigate Students? attitudes to homework in grade six, and closerstudy the attitudes of the Students who think homework is difficult and boring. I have chosento investigate and find out why homework is perceived as boring and cumbersome for someStudents in sixth grade. I hope to identify the aspects that contribute to the negativeconsequences that arise in connection with the homework. The following questions are usedto make the study: Do some Students experience homework as boring and difficult? Do someStudents get any form of support at home, if so, how do Students perceive the support fromhome? How do Students feel that homework affects their leisure?What is the reason that the homework is perceived as difficult and boring according to theStudents? How should the shape of homework change according to the Students who believethat homework is difficult and boring?I have chosen to do the study with older Students who have more experience with homework.I used both qualitative and quantitative methods, those are interviews and questionnaires.
