Asperger syndrom-en studie av två aspergerenheter
The objective of this project is to study how two asperger units, one at a junior school and one at a senior-level school are carrying at their work. I have interviewed one pedagouge at each unit to find out how they organize the education at the units and how they work to develop the Students' social skills based on the Students' functional handicap. The interviews showed that the following factors are providing the foundation for the pedagouges' work with the Students: knowledge of the Asperger syndrome and the symptoms shown by each individual, the pedagouges being explicit and well structured as a professional and as adult combined with him/her being humble and showing respect towards the Students and self reflection.Keywords: Asperger syndrome, functional handicap, social interaction, attitude..

Three different factors are thought to be involved in the increased segregation in Stockholm: the living segregation, scientific and political dissonances and the social economical factor. Many segregated areas have many inhabitants with foreign background. Schools in these areas have a higher number of Students with lower grades compared to other schools with higher number of Students that are ethnical Swedes. Jordbromalmsskolan is a school in Haninge kommun that is one of the seven schools in Stockholms suburbs where Students graduate with the lowest grades. The school is suffering from a very bad reputation because of many problems like fights between Students and lack of resources like purchase stop.

This is an examination report in physical education. It focuses on the relation between excercise and nutrition and how this relation works in an icehockeygymnasium in a midsized city in Sweden. The training ratio for the Students are 11-12 times a week which indirectly means that the nutricion is very important to them so that they have the strength to manage both training and school. In this examination report you can read about how the food is composed and how many meals the Students are offered through their education program. The persons that I´ve interviewed are the head coach, the president of the school restaurant and three Students.The Students have practise in the noon two times a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine how some university Students, who are using the libraries extensively, use and experience the public and the university library and what they expect from the two different library types. I also compare their expectations with the different tasks and aims of the two library types. To answer this I have interviewed seven Students at the department of history of literature at Göteborg University. I have also studied some literature and research related to this subject, for example user studies about Students and libraries and the information behaviour of distance Students.

The aim of this study is to analyze the justification of a financial incentive that rewards Students who rapidly finish their studies within the language education ?Swedish for immigrants? (sfi). Thereby, we want to see what assumptions are made about the Students, and relate this to experiences of the education at a local level. We applied a text analysis on a government bill about the incentive, which showed that the deficiencies in the education are said to be caused by the Students? lack of effort.
Hur upplever elever raster? : En fenomenologisk studie
The essential thing about breaks has been in relation to time, body, movement, force and room during my examination. Through conversations high-school Students from two schools have taken part in this study. The examination is based on conversations with the Students and has focused on Students? experiences of breaks, and is also carried through by the method of phenomenology. The results of my studie show that Students - during their breaks - experience a feeling of allways heading for something and also that time seem to exist in three levels: filled time, non-filled time and flow regarding of time.

The background to this study is the government’s investment in design and the increase of design education around the country. As a future design teacher (industrialdesign) at high school/college, it is of great interest for me to look closer at student’s attitude towards design and design educations at high school.Questions that have been investigated are student´s attitude towards design; design as a concept but also as a phenomenon. How does the student counselor inform the Students of the differentchoices before choosing high school?Does the Students view on design correspond to what the student counselor say?What opinion does the student counselor have to the concept design as well as design in highschool? Is design just a craze or here to stay?To get answers I have made interviews with student counselors at two different schools, I have also been in contact with a student counselor on the internet. Their thoughts will clarify thesituation that the Students might be in.

This study sets out to research the effects of perceptions regarding teacher education as well as the teacher profession in general amongst college Students studying to become teachers. The aim of the study is to get a better understanding in what perceptions that constitutes the foundation of the aspects that may affect the Students of education by interviewing Students about how they perceive their education. The study relies on a sociocultural perspective to analyze the data as well as justify the relevance of the study.
The method for researching this will consist mainly of interviews and literature studies. Four Students of education, where two are Swedish and two are Finnish, will act as the main source of empiric information.

The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the problems caused by Students that characterize themselves as highly sensitive. The issue of high sensitivity and other categorizations are fiercely debated in the research. This empirical study was conducted in light of literature about high sensitivity, pedagogies, and interview methods. The Students answered questions about what makes them categorize themselves and how they believe that the categorization affects their learning and social development. They also responded to questions about what they consider appropriate measures to improve their situation.

Swedish Students' knowledge of both mathematics and reading comprehension has deteriorated in recent years. Scientists are discussing whether there is a connection between these areas and that the pupils deteriorating math skills may have something to do with their increasingly lower results in terms of reading comprehension. To investigate this possible connection, I conducted a survey among Students in ninth grade and have come to the conclusion that the scientists are right: this connection absolutely exist. Students who received a high score on tasks designed to test Students' mathematical problem-solving skills, also received high results on the reading comprehension test. And Students who received a poor performance on the problem-solving tasks, were also low performers in the reading comprehension test.

In this essay, I will look at three different Compulsory comprehensive schools in one community and I will compare final grades from Students who graduated in spring 2006. I will also examine how the three schools work with Students, and in what way they approach Students with dyslexia/reading- and writing difficulties, so that they could reach goals set by The Swedish National Agency for Education. The aim with this essay is to show differences between schools in the same community and my question is if it is the way you approach Students with dyslexia/reading- and writing difficulties that affects the student?s grades and results.The study is concentrating on three schools in one community and Students with dyslexia and reading- and writing difficulties that went to those schools. I have spoken to remedial teacher at each school about how they approach Students with dyslexia/reading- and writing difficulties, what kind of methods the use, how they investigate if a student is in need of special help and how they grade their Students who are in need of special teaching because of their learning disabilities.

As we have been actively involved in various teaching programmes for many years, we wanted to enquire how the Students and teachers understood their school and compare it to how we experienced it. Do the Students fully understand the knowledge they are receiving and can they learn from it? Do the teachers believe what they are teaching is understood by the Students? What is the underlining knowledge of social practices in the school, which can inspire Students in different ways? The aim of the study, as the title suggests, is to convey and describe the various methods practiced in a specific social practice.Our project is a quality study. We have used observation, specific intense individual and group interviews. In the result, arrives a different message through what there is possible for the Students to learn about the matter. These messages are visible in the different attitudes the teacher, the school and the organisation have vis-à-vis the matter. In the discussion, we have focussed on what has arrived in the result around the teacher's and the organisation's attitudes.

The purpose of my study is using a narrative approach from a student perspective through the feelings that show the cultural encounters of immigrant Students with the Swedish school. I want through my study have an understanding of how Students are affected in their interaction with the Swedish culture. I also want to analyze and understand their feelings and experiences. Are emotions negative or positive? My theoretical framework includes the following concepts: Emotions, treatment, ethnicity, identity and code-switching.An important element of my study is to understand Students' emotional experiences.

Previous research indicates that the academic journal in many cases is the most valuable and important source of information in scientific work. The aim of this study is to investigate Students usage of academic journals in comparison to their usage of other document types, as illustrated by the citations given in LIS Students master theses 1999-2001. By comparing the Students use of LIS journals with the use of LIS journals by international scholars we also wish to examine whether Students and scholars use the same journals in their work.
