A popular method for leadership development has come to show both in research and in practice, especially in recent years, this popular method is known as mentoring. This form of leadership development is often applied in so called mentoring programs.

This paper attempts to display how five teachers of social studies use and relate to the policy documents and their instructions on gender. To penetrate the subject, five teachers were intreviewed. Each interview focused on how the curriculum attempts to guide teachers regarding gender, sex differences and equality of opportunity. The collected information was processed, analyzed and discussed using gender studies and discourse theory.The results show that the interpretation and usage of the curriculum is very subjective and varies greatly between all the interviewed teachers. Their personal interpretation proves to be crucial when it comes to making reality of the stated goals in the curriculum, concerning actively working towards equality of opportunity between sexes.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att undervisa i musik och ensemblespel på en anstalt och studera vilka effekter undervisningen har på internernas aggressiva beteende och destruktiva tänkande. Aktionsforskningen baseras på teorin om att ensemblespel även är en utmanande och effektiv gruppsykologisk övning. Situationen tvingar dig att ta ansvar för din uppgift i gruppen i realtid. The results show that the respondents have positive associations with ICA, they think that ICA maintains a high quality on their products and services and that 50% more often choose to do their grocery shopping at ICA. The conclusion of the study is that ICA has a strong brand equity resulting in brand trust from consumers, which is founded in the brand reliability and brand intentions of the company. .

This paper compares and discusses teachers´ nonverbal communication in the classroom. The purpose of the study is to find out what the teachers´ nonverbal communication looks like in the classroom and with that information increase teachers´ awareness of nonverbal communi-cation and its impact on the teaching. Ten teachers at the upper secondary school have been observed for twenty minutes when having a lecture. The result shows that the most common nonverbal expressions are hand and arm gestures used to enhance what is said by the teacher. The result also shows that the nonverbal communication is similar with all observed teachers.

This thesis discusses how the education in the Master of Engineering program can change to become more into line for the students needs, especially for the women, both directly in the education situation and later in their occupational roles. This is done using a gender perspective. Both the education and the occupation today is characterised by masculine norms and values. The education lacks gender perspective and is created by men, for men. The thesis gives concrete proposals on how to change two existing courses to better fit the students.

This bachelor thesis in science Informatics contains the qualifications for the applying of IT in education for students in elementary school, grade 1-3. By empirical case study on an existing elementary school, whose success on IT use is noticed, describes how to apply IT in the classroom in an adequate way. We look at different theoretical frameworks in interaction and design of systems designed for learning purposes, and satisfies their specific needs and situations within the classroom's four walls. The current lack of statistical measurements on students' results and effects of the use of IT in teaching, prevents further improvements. If we simultaneously work to develop more well-designed systems that are designed for this purpose, it is possible that the effects become more and better.
