Uppsatsens syfte är att visa på dansbandsbranschens förmåga att anpassa sina strategier efter förändrade omvärldsfaktorer, samt visa på vad som kan förbättras inom området strategisk ledning utifrån ett affärsstrategiskt perspektiv.En kvalitativ undersökning där den huvudsakliga empirin bygger på genomförda intervjuer. Uppsatsen grundar sig i nio genomförda intervjuer med personer inom dansbandsbranschen.Att arbeta med dansband tycks vara en livsstil där besluten präglas av att, som Sven Ingvars sjunger, ?Det kommer från hjärtat?. Sammanfattningsvis vill vi belysa det behov av en intresseorganisation som vi anser föreligger, då vi lokaliserat en brist på initiativ för gemensam utveckling ur ett långsiktigt perspektiv. Detta utgör en avsaknad, vilken är en konsekvens av att aktörerna har anpassat sina strategier utefter överlevnad, på bekostnad av en potentiell utveckling..

This report is a documentation of a Master?s thesis of 20 credits performed at the educational program of Technical Product- and Production Development with Design at Halmstad University. The project is carried out in cooperation with Hafa AB in Halmstad.The purpose of this project was to bring forth a concept of a bathroom cabinet for Hafa?s new selection Young through creative design methods. The selection is supposed to attract the younger purchaser but also a target group that dare to experiment with home furnishing and appreciates new design.

Denna uppsats har till syfte att beskriva och analysera läkemedelsbolaget Sanofi-Aventis inköpsfunktions interna strategiska betydelse. Efter eget intresse och ett behov från Sanofi-Aventis sida med en utomstående betraktare genomförde vi denna studie.Studien har genomförts genom intervjuer, genomgång av litteratur och analys av tidigare forskning samt ett frågeformulär.Inköpsfunktionen har idag en alltför låg intern strategisk betydelse inom Sanofi-Aventis. Detta beror på en rad olika faktorer inom olika områden, såsom; relationerna till leverantörerna, de inköpta tjänsternas karaktär, inköpsprocessen samt inköpsfunktionens struktur. För att stärka denna funktions betydelse krävs ytterligare åtgärder. Dessa åtgärder innefattar bland annat en klassificering av leverantörsbasen, en större involvering från ledningen samt en implementering av en intern benchmarking..

Swedish studies have shown that more people than expected have problems with leg ulcers and that the yearly cost for treatment per patient is approximately 26 500kr. Since the elderly population is on the rise, there is a need to highlight this growing problem, to make sure that proper assessment tools are used and to improve the standard of care given to patients with leg ulcers. The aim was to show what a difference the nurse can make to patients with leg ulcers. With all types of wounds it is imperative to establish if there is any underlying reasons since certain illnesses can cause more wounds or delay the healing process. The doctor is responsible for making the diagnosis and to prescribe the correct treatment whereas the nurse?s responsibility is for the nursing care and its documentation.

This report summarizes a Bachelor Degree Project in Integrated Product Development, carried out during the fall 2007 till spring 2008 by three students at the Product Design Engineering Program at the University of Skövde. The project was performed in cooperation with Lundbergs Möbler AB in Tibro. Lundbergs wants to start selling furniture to the public eldercare. The purpose of this project was to adjust one of their chairs. The project layout was to first make a preliminary investigation where the market, competitors? assortment and the purchasing process are studied.

User-centred acquisitions at three academic librariesA new way of developing collections has been adopted at a number of small academic libraries, user-centred acquisitions. The method implies that the main way of building the collection is by means of receiving suggestions of titles from library users. The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate changes in acquisitions of monographs. At a more detailed level it seeks a deeper understanding of what user-centred acquisitions is and how the method effects the acquisitions process. Changes in stock management and the reason why the libraries have chosen the method is investigated as well.

The aim of this study is to investigate librarians? opinions about books supported by the government and delivered for free to the main public libraries in every community. The study is also investigating how the governmentally supported books affect the process of buying books for the public libraries and how the librarians think about quality and mediation in the acquisition. The analysis is based upon interviews with six librarians that are responsible for the purchasing at five main libraries in small communities in the South of Sweden. The results from the interviews are discussed and analyzed from the perspective of mediation.

Climate changing is a growing problem for many countries and communities over the world. The cities has a huge work to deal with in their reforcements of their cities to be resilient ones. This thesis makes an effort to investigate and illuminate some of the problem the cities has to solve related to flooding, hazards, erosions, rising sea levels and crotches. This thesis will help to find solutions that international and national efforts has produced and handed out to each other. A lot of communities are charing their excellent tools that works for them.

Det var under 1920-talet som budgetering började användas som ett verktyg för att styra kostnader och kassaflöden. Budgeten började användas för att planera och samordna verksamheter och senare blev strategisk planering vanligt. Budgeten används som en plan för inkomster och utgifter under en viss tid. En plan upprättas för att skapa mål och handlingsvägar. Strategin och budgetprocessen utför tillsammans grunden för att besluta om vilka mål som är realistiska och hur de målen skall uppnås.Politikerna ställer idag krav på de myndigheter som de ansvarar för.

Syftet med studien var att genom ett kvalitetsarbete få en förståelse för gymnasieelevers upplevelser av sitt eget lärande i en konstnärlig, skapande process. Kvalitetsarbetet genomfördes på dansinriktningen vid ett estetiskt program i Norrbotten där jag under min verksamhetsförlagda utbildning lät eleverna arbeta individuellt med att skapa en koreografi, ett solo, som de senare redovisade. Soloredovisningarna filmades och inspelningen användes som minnesstimulerare vid de kvalitativa intervjuerna enligt metoden Stimuladed recall. Resultatet visar att eleverna upplever ett lärande då de arbetar i en individuell, konstnärlig skapandeprocess. Eleverna uttrycker sin kunskap och sina förmågor med sin kropp, dock är det tydligt att eleverna med varierat resultat kan förmedla detta verbalt..

This study used a qualitative interview design to explore the experiences of seven Swedish female elite athletes and their career retirement. The athletes were engaged in three different sports; track and field (athletics), handball and golf and five of them are former professional or semi-professional athletes. The process of their athletic role exit was based on the theoretical findings of Ebaugh (1988) and her four phases: First Doubts, Seeking Alternatives, The Turning Point and Creating the Ex-Role. The findings reveal that for these female former elite athletes Seeking Alternatives already starts before the First Doubts and that possibly the athletes at an early stage have insights of the discontinuity of their athletic career. The importance of transferring their role residual to future paths in life was stressed among the female athletes in order to be able to have a smooth transition process.

ABSTRACT System development has become more and more concentrated on development for the Web and this has resulted in larger target groups. It will most surely continue to be so considering that the Web will be the infrastructure of business and services in the future. A big target group involves that the owner of a system can earn a lot of money from the paying users, but that assumes that the system can meet user needs. If a system on the Web does not satisfy the user?s demands then they will use the competitor?s system instead because it is only a mouse-click away.

Fiskeby Board tillverkar returfiberbaserad kartong som oftast används till livsmedelsprodukter. Fiskeby producerar mot kundorder. När en order är färdigproducerad så lagras den i väntan på att kunden ska avropa delar av ordern. Korta leveranstider är en av de viktigaste faktorerna för att lyckas i kartongbranschen.På senare år har marknaden för livsmedelstillverkning flyttats från norden, söder ut, till och omkring Tyskland. Detta faktum har gjort att avståndet från Fiskebys produktionsanläggning till deras kunder har ökat vilket har lett till ökade leveranstider.Uppgiften med examensarbetet var dels att som oberoende part, hitta ett nytt logistiskt upplägg som innebar kortare leveranstider och högre leveransservice och dels att göra en totalkostnadsanalys över företagets logistiska verksamhet för att underlätta för Fiskebys fortsatta arbete.Det enda sättet att minska leveranstiden är att minska avståndet mellan produkterna och marknaden och därför togs beslutet att gå vidare med att hitta en strategisk lagerpunkt.För att hitta en strategisk lagerpunkt gjordes flera olika tyngdpunktsberäkningar där varje analys tog hänsyn till en eller flera faktorer så som efterfrågan, vinstmarginal, geografisk belägenhet och kundrelation.

Place as a concept, and memory as a phenomenon is researched through literature studies. The essay investigates how we think about place and how we experience and relate to it. Memory is discussed both as personal memory and collective memory. Place is a strong source of memory. When we return to a place, we recognize not only the place itself, but also the things we did there, the people we met and the thoughts passing through our mind when we last were there. Pieces of ourselves are stored in the memories awaken when we revisit a place.
