The study focus on the development of the bilateral relationship between India and the United States and the Next Step in Strategic Partnership (NSSP) from 2004 and the change in U.S. approach to India's neuclear program. With the rise of China to potential great power status I argue that the cooporation between the two is an act to balance the Chinese influence and to prevent future rivalry and a Chinese dominance of the East Asia. The purpose with this study has been, based on different public and private procurement conditions, to measure if there are any significant differences in the business relations between public- and private institutional kitchens. Furthermore, to observe what important influencing factors there are to maintain and develop a relationship between a producer and customer. The result of the analysis shows that there are important factors that influences on the trust in the relationship between a producer and customer. These factors are product- and service exchange, communication, strategic purchase and social exchange. In this examination we have showed that there are differences in the relationship between public- and private customers.

Today, the tourism sector is the fastest growing industry in the world and also includes one of the foremost for instance in the number of work and added tax. However, even the visitor industry contributes to smaller localities boost by creating new jobs where depopulation occurs. This study focuses on the town Kisa in Kinda Municipality. The purpose of the study is to highlight the importance of tourism for migration to a town and to show the importance of developing sustainable destinations.In the results of this study it emerges that more job opportunities are requested by respondents for increasing Kisas attractiveness.

Purpose/aim: The purpose of this thesis is to examine if, and in that case how, the municipality of Umeå worked strategically with its communication during 2014 when Umeå was chosen as ?European Capital of Culture?. The research is mainly focused on the outlines of their communication plan, main goals, what  communication strategies the municipality has chosen to and their choice of media channels.Material/method: Two methods are used for this research; qualitative interviews with four employees within the communication team during Umeå2014 and a text analysis of three formal documents which provide the framework of communication policies and media strategies during Umeå2014.Results: The results clearly indicate a well structured, strategic planning outlined in the formal documents. Those who have invested in apartments, i.e. tenant-ownership, within the city centre of Stockholm have gained a higher than expected return on investment due to a buoyant real estate market. During the latest twelve-month period, the prices have risen more than 20 per cent in the city of Stockholm, resulting in an increased wealth together with a higher debt burden among investors. The aim of this thesis is to investigate which factors determine the prices from a micro perspective, and to what extent. An attempt is particularly made to estimate the degree of capitalization of the monthly fees; a factor which has turned out to be important according to other studies; but also to construct pricing models in order to set target prices for apartments.

Abstract: According to previous research, it is not unusual for online poker players to create profiles which indicate they are members of the opposite sex. This phenomenon, known as 'Gender Swapping', is partly being utilized in a strategic fashion. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate whether or not the gender of an opponent has an impact on decision-making in an online poker environment. An experiment was constructed where subjects made 15 poker-related decisions against seven randomly generated opponents, consisting of three male, three female and one genderless opponent. The results indicate no significant differences in decisions against male and female opponents.

En attraktiv stadskärna skapar folkliv och rörelse i det offentliga rummet och fungerar som ett upplevelserum för stadens invånare, inget av detta finns idag i Söderhamns stadskärna. Befolkningsutvecklingen i Söderhamns kommun minskar med ca 220 personer per år och staden är i stort behov av en attraktiv stadskärna. Syftet med denna studie var att ta fram olika planeringsförslag till Söderhamns kommun som de kan använda sig av i utvecklingen för en attraktiv stadskärna. Två metoder användes för att ta fram olika planeringsförslag vilka var observation och innehållsanalys. I observationen användes Kevin Lynchs analysmetod samt en SWOT-analys för att bedöma vilka utvecklingsbehov Söderhamns stadskärna har.

This thesis explores how remote work impacts organizational culture and identifies leadership strategies that can preserve and strengthen the culture in a remote work environment. By employing a theoretical framework related to organizational culture, remote work, and strategies, along with a methodology based on qualitative interviews, the study aims to fulfill its specified purpose. Theories such as Schein?s three levels of culture and McKinsey?s 7S Framework are applied to understand and analyze the collected empirical data. The empirical data, presented through four themes, is based on respondents? experiences and opinions regarding remote work can lead to reduced social interaction and sense of belonging, but strategic digital initiatives and adaptive leadership can help maintain organizational culture despite the lack of physical presence.

Goal: To describe which evaluation method is used by Swedish retailers to assess a potential retail location and to describe to what extent the retail brand effects this strategic decision. Design: Analysis of ten interviews with companies within five retail sectors in Sweden. Main study: Indication of what methods are used to evaluate a location and how a company's retail brand affects the decision. Results: Retailers use a mix of theoretical methods to evaluate the location attributes and possible profit. Most common among mixtures was an application of the analog method, residual method or the checklist method in combination with a financial assessment.

The purpose of this thesis is to deepen the understanding of our contemporary description of digital literacy using the perspective on knowledge from the Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle. I have chosen to deal with the problem using a hermeneutic approach. The method of inquiry is based on close reading of the selected literature. The selection itself has been made after a strategic selection regarding perspective on knowledge and digital literacy. It appears in the thesis that there are substantial differences but also similarities between our contemporary description of digital literacy from Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 on key competences for lifelong learning and the perspective on knowledge from the Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle.Still, the result has been possible to use for the purpose of the thesis since the problem has an answer and a deepened impression of the understandings of digital literacy..
