Organisationer har olika strategier för särskiljning och konkurrenskraft där kultur, arv och tradition tillämpas på olika sätt för att profilera sig både mot kunder och medarbetare. Företag vilka bygger och anspelar på lokal tradition återfinns inom de flesta sektorer, dock har få studier gjorts på medarbetarens upplevelse av tradition inom en organisation. Kunskapsluckan i traditionens betydelse för medarbetare inom samtida organisationer är således av vikt att studera. Vi vill genom denna undersökning förstå hur medarbetaren upplever en eventuell anspelning på lokal tradition inom en organisation. Undersökningen av sambandet mellan lokal tradition och medarbetaren ska bidra till ökad insikt om huruvida lokal tradition har aktualitet och betydelse för en organisationsmedlem.

In a world obsessed with the visual our homes have gone viral. Through the frame of Instagram family members seems switched to furnitures and the so-called smartphone surely opened the door to new, digital places. Social media has become part of the life of many and, as an effect, also of the way we do our homes. In the era of digitalization, the concept of sharing has gotten some new dimensions where the borders of private and public, here and there, becomes blurred. Why do people post pictures of their homes on Instagram? How is it performed and what boundaries are pushed in the process? These have been some of the main topics guiding this thesis.

The crisis on Wall Street. This essay is a comparative study of how two business newspapers report on the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers Holdings in September 2008. Seven articles from the Swedish European financial newspaper Affärsvärlden (Business World) and five articles from the Chinese-Asian news agency XINHUA FINANCE are examined. The aim is to analyze, understand and evaluate from a rhetorical perspective. My thesis is that rhetors storytelling can tell us more about how we cope with crisis in the global economic discourse. The texts can portray man as a narrative creature when identification as a rational actor is not enough. The analytical methods used are linguistic analysis with an emphasis on metaphor analysis, narrative analysis based on pentad - Critical dramatism, and discourse analysis with doxological outlook. The results show that both newspapers seek to defend the global economic discourse, but they do so in different ways. Affärsvärlden advocates calmness and conveys a cautious attitude. The heart of the crisis, as well as its solution, is on Wall Street. XINHUA advocates control and expresses confidence in authorities and the system. Asia is presented as Wall Street's savior..

The purpose of this study is to analyze the interrogation transcripts of interviews with girls between the age of 11 and 16 who are alleged victims of sexual crimes. The examination is done from a gender perspective, by comparing six interrogations by male interrogators and eight interrogations by female interrogators. The study has used linguistic indicators relating to the interrogation methodological guidelines, in order to highlight how the interrogators give girls the opportunity and space to share their experience of the alleged sexual offense. Text material is categorized based on themes and analyzed in detail to find any gender-specific patterns of hearing leaders and if the girls are given space and opportunity for a free storytelling. The results show that in several themes, differences between the male and the female interrogators can be discerned.

Många samtidskonstnärer arbetar idag aktivt med berättelsens struktur, konstverken fungerar som en del i en mer omfattande process som fogar samman det visuella uttrycket med berättande och en övergripande dramaturgi.I detta examensarbete försöker jag synliggöra hur ett konstverks berättelsestruktur kan urskiljas dels genom att använda olika teoretiska perspektiv, där jag bland annat försöker svara på frågan,vad är en berättelse? Men även undersöka hur en berättelses struktur kan urskiljas visuellt, genom mitt gestaltande arbete. I både den teoretiska och gestaltande delen försöker jag visa att en berättelse är under ständig transformation, samt mottagarens roll i skapandet av en berättelse.Jag kommer röra mig mellan den strukturalistiska uppdelningen av ?den klassiska berättelsen? till en mer poststrukturalistisk utvidgad syn. Jag kommer även ha som utgångspunkt att berättelsen är en aktiv deltagare i skapandet av vår sociala praktik.Mitt examensarbete har utgått ifrån frågeställningen:Vilka berättarstrukturer kan urskiljas i samtidskonstnärers konstverk/projekt? Hur arbetar dessa konstnärer med berättelsens egenskaper och villkor? The cultivation theory claims that it is just the amount of TV that shows an effect on consumers and their perception of reality, like for example the mean world syndrome. But the theory has been criticized for not considering the possible effects that are actually related to other variables. These variables have weakened or totally eliminated the effects, previously explainedby TV, in later control studies of the cultivation theory.

When exposed to them, isocyanates can induce serious injuries in the respiratory tract and irritation on the skin and in the eyes. They are therefore interesting from the point of view of occupational health. The purpose of this thesis was to collect isocyanates in air with impinger-filter samplers and solvent free samplers. Furthermore the isocyanates were to be analyzed with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. The solvent free sampler consists of a polypropylene tube and filter holder fitted with glass fiber filters impregnated with derivatization reagent, coupled with a pump.

Under senare år har medier världen över bevakat Malmö, och beskrivit staden som kriminell och våldsam. På ledar- och debattsidor har kritik främst riktats mot stadens kommunalråd Ilmar Reepalu, men även mot polisen i Malmö, Malmös skolväsende och den svenska regeringen. I sin bevakning framställer medier Malmö som en stad i kris, där förtroendet för Malmös politiska styre är lågt. Parallellt med denna mediebevakning pågår det inom Malmö stad ett internt arbete med storytelling för kommunanställda. Syftet med detta arbete är att stärka vi-känslan hos de anställda och förändra bilden av staden.Syftet med föreliggande studie är att undersöka hur krisen i Malmö framställs på ledarsidorna i fem svenska dags- och kvällstidningar, och hur dessa framställningar kan påverka bilden av staden.

The purpose of this essay is to study the coming into being of two newly built public libraries in Sweden, Malmö public library and Linköping public library. In both cases, the architect was appointed through a competition. We have examined the degree of importance that one has put on the buildings functionality and aesthetics, respectively. Furthermore we have studied how the cooperation between library staff and the architects has worked, and finally we have studied to which degree the parties involved think that the interests of the users has been taken into concern. The first main chapter of the report is an overview of the literature found on the subject where we present theories on library architecture used in Sweden as well as abroad.

2007, Swedish television, ?Uppdrag granskning,? aired their story about ?Louise? from Vetlanda. A drug dependent father had gotten custody of his daughter and sexually abused her from the age of 10 to 15. One action is by choosing allergy-free interior surface materials. An allergy-free material emits low concentrations of harmful substances resulting in a great indoor air quality.

Vi befinner oss idag i ett upplevelsesamhälle där upplevelser är det starkaste konkurrensmedlet. Samtidigt växer debatten om hållbar utveckling och det krävs att vi människor involverar oss i vardagen för att en hållbar utveckling av samhället ska vara möjlig. Syftet med denna uppsats är därför att studera huruvida och på vilket sätt upplevelseproduktion kan användas som ett verktyg för att skapa involvering i frågor som rör hållbar utveckling. Jag vill genom min studie få insikt i vilka aspekter av upplevelseproduktion som används för att skapa involvering i frågor som rör hållbar utveckling och hur de som arbetar i den dagliga verksamheten med hållbar utveckling ser på upplevelser och dess innebörd. För att undersöka detta väljer jag att göra en fallstudie där Humanitetens Hus i Malmö står i fokus.

Abstract:This thesis work has been conducted at the Real Estate Department in Halmstad.The department consists of a construction/project management-unit and an operation/management-unit.Like many other towns in Sweden, Halmstad has had a long lasting problem with indoor environment. Not at least at their preschools.Today they are constructing from current building regulations. They have learned from negative experiences which have occurred in the indoor environment in older buildings.Focus is now on healthy materials, like low emission value, energy efficiency and optimization of the building, but still with soft parameters such as cleaning, interior and choice of materials.The fixtures is provides by the real estate department and the furnishings are provides by the children and youth administration. Together they are trying to provide a great indoor environment.I have, together with the real estate department and the children and youth administration of Halmstad, investigated how to provide a good indoor environment in the preschools with small funds.In my thesis there is one theoretical part with a questionnaire survey of how the preschool staff is experiencing their indoor environment to determine where the problems often start. And a practical part with measurements to try and come down to a result that analysis the cause of the problems and also to make sure that the ventilation systems are fulfilling projected values.The measurements and the questionnaire surveys was made at Lokes preschool in Frösakull, Askens preschool in Oskarström and Gullbrandstorps preschool.There were some differences between the staff-responses at the three different preschools.At Askens preschool they feel that the premises are cleaned poorly.At Gullbrandstorps preschool they feel that the indoor-air is bad because they can´t open the windows.

Kommunikation är något som skapas när en eller flera människor interagerar med varandra och där information av något slag utbyts. Kommunikation inom företag kallas för intern kommunikation och är viktigt för att uppnå syftet med verksamheten. Det är också viktigt för att medarbetare inom organisationen ska känna sig delaktiga och engagerade i företaget, vilket också bidrar till att den dagliga verksamheten blir mer effektiv. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur den interna kommunikationen hos ett företag uppfattas samt vilka effekter den interna kommunikationen kan ha på medarbetarnas delaktighet och engagemang inom företaget. En kvalitativ metod har använts för att uppnå uppsatsens syfte och en fallstudie har genomförts för att erhålla rik information. Kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts för att ta reda på intervjupersonernas upplevda vardag.
