Vi har valt att undersöka den pågående generationsväxling som sker på arbetsmarknaden, den äldre generationen börjar nu gå i pension och den yngre generationen börjar i allt högre grad röra sig in på arbetsplatserna. Ämnet har länge legat till grund för forskning och det har förutspåtts att de stora pensionsavgångarna skall leda till stor arbetskraftsbrist. Detta är inget som vi ser på dagens arbetsmarknad utan det är istället arbetslösheten bland unga som är det mest framträdande. Forskning om det förmodade generationsskiftet har länge vart aktuellt, men verkar nu börja närma sig i och med att pensionsavgångarna beräknas tillta. Samtidigt som de yngre årskullarna börjar minska i antal.

My essay is about a dilemma that came up on a preschool that I worked in. My purpose with my essay is to examine and to get an understanding for what children with attachement and separation anxiety goes through, and how a preschool teacher the best way can help them.The background story is about a boy named Sixten (not his real name). When separated from one of the preschool teachers Sixten exhibits a great deal of separation anxiety. In the story I give some clear examples of situations where Sixten displays this separation anxiety. I have in the essay viewed it from different perspectives and I have questioned my own role as an educator, but also my entire team.

During the latest 50 years, the Swedish porcelain tableware industry has gone from being rather successful to experience significant problems. Our empirical study attributes these problems to underlying changes in consumer buying behaviour, whereas current generation theory supports our findings. The younger generation has significantly different preferences compared to older generations, with less focus on quality and more focus on variability, and there is reason to believe that these findings also are applicable to other consumer purchases. The successful porcelain companies of tomorrow will be the ones that continuously can adapt to these and further changes in consumer buying behaviour..

The present MA thesis analyzes how body and blood functions as historical and narrative elements in Yu Hua's novel Chronicle of a Blood Merchant (1995). In the novel, the story and the plot can not be regarded as disparate items; the two levels of the text are tightly interwoven by what the thesis introduces as a sangvinolent narration. The term conceptualizes the use of blood as a structural element and the thrust of the text, in this case how the ability to sell blood is a prerequisite for the story and the plot.Close readings reveal the structural correlations between the blood-selling main-character Xu Sanguan in the plot on the one hand, and in the story on the other, which can be detected to have, inter alia, an effect on the temporality of the narrative. Themes linked to identity, belonging and survival (performativity, mimicry, reification and alienation) permeate the text. The purpose of this essay is to examine at how to portray characters in the stories and narratives which depicts one of these children's books and if they really have something to ethnicity and its identification to be done.The Research questions is: What are the different identification markers given, to the reading child in the books, which might indicate that the story depicts people of different ethnicities? How are the characters portrayed in the story and which role is assigned to the main character? What story is portrayed and is it relevant to an identifier can occur?The conclusions of the five children's books shows that it is important with identifications markers, to show that there are different ethnicities. For example the analysis revealed the specific features of the illustrations and how the books portrayes someone with a different ethnicity and cultural background as something exotic.In the texts, the analysis showed how it occurred ethnic differences, by explicitly demonstrating differences between the characters. It was found that the characters were produced mostly as good, happy, curious, suspicious and unsympathetic. Common to all the main characters was that they had been placed, in one for them unusual context and that they were trying to assimilate to the new situations.Depictions consisted of realism and fiction.

Virtualization has increasingly been adopted in the last decade and the usages of virtualized environments are going to be an important part of how computers are used in the nearby future. There are a lot of advantages with virtualization and different methods have been developed to make it as efficient as possible.Forsmarks Kraftgrupp were interested in the possibility of taking advantage of virtualization in their testing environment.In this report, hypervisors of type 1 and type 2 and containers have been evaluated to determine which method and what program is preferable on a server cluster of four HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 4. Because of the hardware specifications of the DL380, focus has been on virtualization programs that do not require hardware assisted virtualization.The results show that it is possible to use some of the type 2 hypervisors on the HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 4. The suggested virtualization programs are VMware Workstation or Oracle VirtualBox. .

Could the The Escape, a future story about exiled Northern Europeans in Myanmar, be classified as exile literature?Another purpose with this text is to describe how a story about exile can be made realistic and tangible to a reader who has not experienced exile.

By conducting a text analysis this study analyzes possible similarities in the portrayal of story characters between historical Norse myths and contemporary film productions. The chosen historical texts are two stories from Norse mythology which render a myth about Thor and a giant named Hrunge as well as the myth Trymskvädet. The selected movies are two of the comic company Marvel?s productions about super heroes ? Thor and The Avengers. Different categories that this study compares are how the characters are defined by their possessions or artefacts, the actions and the choices which the characters make, and also how their relations, roles and origins are being portrayed.

The non-linear film - a film telling a story using a reversed or scrambled chronology - has existed since the late 20?s, but just recently gained huge influence and popularity due to films such as Quentin Tarantinos cult-declared Pulp Fiction. Generation Y gör sitt intåg på arbetsmarknaden och med denna nya grupp medarbetare har det även skapats nya krav, förväntningar och förutsättningar för dagens arbetsgivare. De nya framtida kraven kan komma att förändra organisationer och dess processer. Studien hade som syfte att se vilka mekanismer som påverkar de unga medarbetarna i en organisation vad gäller lojalitet. Sex personer från samma organisation deltog i studien och data samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Resultatet visar att Generation Y:s lojalitet inte handlar om att stanna kvar länge i en organisation. Det framkommer i resultatet att lojalitet handlar mycket om balans mellan både arbetsgivaren och arbetstagaren och att medarbetare som tillhör Generation Y skapar meningsfullhet genom upplevelsen av att bidra med något till organisationen.

Merparten av respondenterna ansågatt internet kommer bli den ledande kommunikationskanalen ut mot nästa generation, tack vare tillgängligheten. Majoriteten av de tillfrågade är medvetna om att webb-tv är en kanal som är mycket aktuell mot nästa generation.
