Social media on the Web has become more common over the last decade and in recent years it has grown immensely. The social media with the highest amount of members is Facebook, where not only private persons are found - companies started to establish their profiles on the network in 2006. However, little is known about how these companies succeed and reach their audience with information dissemination and interact with them. The aim of this study is to contribute with information to local companies on how they can manage to maintain their activity with different approaches and strategies. This study examines how three different local companies chooses to spread information and maintain relationships with their members on Facebook.

This thesis is the result of the investigation and solution of a mechanicalproblem regarding flywheel malfunctions. A flywheel is, in short, a devicethat relies on a rotating object?s moment of inertia to Store energy overshort time spans. This project is part of the development of a fourthflywheel prototype at the division for electricity at Uppsala university,which uses magnetic levitation to keep a hollow cylinder rotating at veryhigh speeds inside a vacuum chamber. Should the magnets fail however, orsome other error occur that leads to an uncontrolled state of rotation, thecylinder needs to be stabilized mechanically by a device usually referredto as ?back-up bearing?.

Sedan tidigt 90-tal har det pågått en diskussion om den evidensbaserade praktikens vara eller inte vara inom socialtjänsten. Evidensbaserad praktik är en metod där den bästa tillgängliga evidensen, den egna erfarenheten samt klientens preferenser utgör grunden för professionella beslut. För att möjliggöra en sådan praktik måste bedömningar och dokumentation inom socialtjänsten utföras mer standardiserat. Förespråkarna, däribland Socialstyrelsen, menar att arbetets och insatsers effekt måste kunna mätas för att förbättras. Importen av evidensbaserad praktik i socialtjänst är dock förknippat med en rad svårigheter och vissa menar att det är ett hot mot de professioner som finns inom det sociala arbetet.
Möjligheterna med Jailbreak
Detta arbete är en undersökning om vad en Jailbreaking av iPhone OS kan tillföra för en vanlig användare och även de utökade möjligheterna för utvecklare. Det syftar till att ge en lätt överskådlig förklaring om hur jailbreaking fungerar och vilka fördelar och nackdelar som följer med det valet.Det var ett personligt intresse för modifikation av operativsystem som gav grunden för valet av denna undersökning. Efter det egna införskaffandet av en iPhone 3Gs i slutet av 2009 utvecklades intresset för jailbreaking, något som successivt byggdes upp till en passion att vilja undersöka en iPhones fulla potential.I rapporten kommer ett antal jämförelser att göras mellan ett native iPhone OS och ett Jailbreakat iPhone OS. Versionen är 3.1.3, vilken är den senaste stabila. Det presenteras viktiga paket som bevis för vad de extra funktioner som kan uppnås genom användandet av jailbreak.

I want to look at the possibilities to start selling hot water from a small district heating plant with bioenergy. My reason for doing this project is to look at a new business opportunity for our farm. Our company have less work during the winter time compared to the spring and this project will give us more work during the winter. I also want to take as much material as possible for heating from our farm in order to increase the value of the products from the farm.
The project is in a village near us, where we should support a school, a churh, a home
for the aged, a kindergarten and a parish hall with heat. In my work I have compared
two different alternatives with each other.
The first alternative is to put a central heater in one of the buildings, the home for the aged, in which we will burn oat.

The purpose of this study was to examine customer attitudes towards flagship Stores and how they perceive them. To ascertain this, and obtain answers to the research questions covering the study's main issues, we decided to turn to the customers who recently visited a flagship Store.Our background theory is based upon literature from previous research done on the subject in the form of scientific articles and books. We present the theoretical concept that explains how flagship Stores are used as a marketing tool and what impact they have on the new market. These will be helpful in answering our questions when we evaluate our results.!A theoretical framework, consisting of three value dimensions, was used as a support throughout the implementation of the study. These three values; hedonic, practical and social, should give us a better idea of what customers experience and what they value when they visit the flagship Stores.!The method used in our investigation is of quantitative form, so that it can be feasible on a large crowd to thus contribute to a quantitative result.

Problem Vi ämnar utreda om det finns ett samband mellan butikslojalitet och EMV-lojalitet. Vi studerar befintliga märkes- och butikslojalitetsteorier för att genom dessa skapa en för vårt syfte relevant modell. Syfte Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att utreda huruvida ett samband finns mellan butikslojalitet och EMV-lojalitet på den svenska dagligvarumarknaden. Metod Arbetet är av induktiv karaktär och bygger på en explorativ studie av lojalitetsaspekter inom dagligvarubranschen. Metoden i uppsatsen är uppdelad i två huvudsteg: övergripande och handgripligt tillvägagångssätt.

Market place, demand, supply, external factors and politics affect how the retail sector develops. To make a market place attractive a variety of factors have to be considered.In Hong Kong a model called Rail & Property is used, this means that the development of the subway is integrated with the development of the city. The model is both successful and economically sustainable.Today the supply of shops and services in Stockholm´s subway stations is rather small.

This is a thesis project in the field of information technology which begins by evaluating existing food price comparison systems and subsequently aims to design an improved, web based system for said purpose. The system features interfaces for price reporting, price comparisons as well as various search and review functions. The objective is to create a system able to compete with existing price comparison systems, which requires careful selection of products that can be found in all foodStores that also represent different households; a user-friendly price reporting and price comparison interface and an efficient tool for ensuring the validity of reported prices.The designed system features a more accurate formula for calculating average prices in events where the real price is missing; a more reliable security mechanism forv alidation of reported prices and a more comprehensible interface for viewing price reports, reporting prices, reviewing Stores and products in comparison with existing systems. The system does, however, suffer from some optimization issues primarily in the form of inefficient database modeling; SQL queries and JavaScript code although testing has shown that these shortcomings do not hamper overall performance to such a degree that usability is compromised. Further usability testing performed on the system with five test subjects shows that a high level of overall user-friendliness has been achieved even though some special features, such as the detailed report containing price information per product for each Store need to be improved.It is not possible to say at this time whether or not the designed system will be able to compete with existing ones or if the very concept of food price comparisons per se is viable in terms of profitability and marketability.

When patrolling grocery Stores, customers engage in a purchase situation where they face great amounts of information, whereof price is one. This paper intends to shed light on the price information search behavior that customer's exhibit before choosing their products in grocery Stores. In order to do so two studies have been conducted, one quantitative and one qualitative, to assemble the data needed to provide statistically significant results. The objective of the quantitative study is to gather data on customer's external price information search, and it is based on the most recent eye-tracking technology. The second qualitative study is complementary and based on interviews with randomly chosen customers that have responded to several questions regarding their price information search, shopping knowledge and experiences.

Konfektionsbranschen har sedan tidigt 1900-talat fungerat genom ett massproducerande maskineri som erbjudit ett likriktat utbud till sina kunder, kunder som ansetts vara en enda stor massa, idag har konsumenter en större insikt i sin egen konsumtion och en stor vilja att påverka. Tack vare den tredje industriella revolutionen är ett nytt paradigmskifte på väg, kunden involveras i design- och produktutvecklingsprocessen och resultatet är att en unik produkt kan produceras samtidigt som företaget uppnår stordriftsfördelar genom modularisering, detta kallas för Mass Customization. Forskning visar att kundinvolvering ofta leder till en lojal kund och utifrån detta är uppsatsens syfte undersöka hur konfektionsföretag inom Mass Customization arbetar med att skapa kundlojalitet. Uppsatsen utgår från en kvalitativ metod där intervjuer med företagen Tailor Store Sweden AB och Suitopia Scandinavia AB är grunden för informationsinsamlingen. Analysarbetet har en teoretisk syntes som utgångspunkt, syntesen bygger på teorier gällande relationsmarknadsföring, kundanpassningar, hur företag skapar lojala kunder samt e-lojalitet.

Secondly a quantitative study was performed in the form of a questionnaire with 80 consumers in Willys and Coop Stores located in Sala and Nyköping.Result & Conclusions: We have seen that price is important when consumers decide whether to buy organic food or not. This has been noticed by the food chains who work actively with being able to offer organic food at lower prices. Other factors that affect the consumers choice to buy organic products are offers, displaying and advertising.

The purpose of this bachelor´s report is to expand the knowledge about heat supply of a small house in Malmö. The heat supply will be provided from solar panels in combination to two accumulator tanks which will storage the up heated water and a pellet boiler.The technique used here is warmth storage in water over seasons, which will provide the total need of heating for the house. Accumulator tanks in combination to solar panels gets more and more common in Sweden but this far it´s unusual to use it for storage over seasons. This report will highlight many of the difficulties associated whit heat storage and give information about a system's possible design and function.The design of this system is decided early on. An accumulator tank is placed 2 meters down in the earth on the backside of the house.
